- Ingredients:
- Butter
- Garlic bread seasoning
- Hidden Valley Ranch mix
- Two slices of UNCURED, low salt bacon
- One breaded chicken tenderloin (raw)
- Italian Pugilese Bread Loaf
- Cheese
- Preparation:
- Soften butter in a dish until easy to spread, set aside
- Soften some butter in another dish, mix in garlic bread seasoning recipe of choice and ranch mix
- Grate cheese of choice, but provolone, pepper jack, and cheddar all work well
- Hand-slice two pieces of Pugilese bread to 1/2-3/4" thick each
- Cooking:
- Cook chicken tender in oven until done, meanwhile:
- Spread regular butter on one side of each piece of bread and set aside
- Fry two slices of bacon to desired level of doneness, keep grease hot in pan
- Place two pieces of bread butter side down in the pan and griddle in bacon fat until golden brown
- Spread seasoned butter on remaining side of bread pieces
- Top one piece of bread with cheese, THEN bacon
- Top the other piece with cheese, then the chicken tender
- Place both pieces, topped side up, on a pan in the oven for 5 minutes
- When cheese is melted, remove from oven and assemble the sandwich
