 I can remember their faces, caked in black and white, reds and yellows, as they loomed over me that day. The way they contorted like demons, spit flyin' from their mouths with every little sound they made. I can remember the sun bein' high in the sky, beaming down with all its intensity through the treetops. I remember all of it, because my eyes never closed, and my soul never left my body after death - guess I was too stubborn for that kind of ending, a bunch of stone ancestral hatchets buried in my ribs and arrowheads piercing my arteries, 'cause that wasn't where I was content to die; not surrounded by a bunch of god damn red skinned assholes shoutin' who knows what to the high Heavens as they killed the white man. <br><br>

 Maybe they thought it was some omen that the man they'd been fairly sure they'd just killed had risen again, and that's what stopped them from immediately dog piling me again. It don't matter though, because that few seconds where we <i>all</i> sat in stunned silence was the beginning of something new. I wasn't alive, but I wasn't completely 'dead' either, y'hear? I wasn't ready to go - and no amount of fucking Indian assholes would be enough to take me to the grave. So I grabbed them hatchets and yanked 'em outta my ribs, and started swinging. I was still fresh, so I could still feel the agony associated with nail and tooth, steel and iron, as they fought back. Could feel with picturesque clarity how my skin broke under their desperation and then the warmth of their blood as it washed over my hands, over my skin.<br><br>

 I'd done things. I <i>have</i> done things. There ain't no running away from none of it - but what I did to some of them? It put, for as small a window as it was, the fear of God into my own dead heart. Have you ever fought like a rabid animal? That was my first time. Confused and scared and angry as a demon, I sank my teeth into a few of their throats and discovered I liked the taste. Not of their blood - I ain't no damn vampire, let's make that clear - but of their flesh. Tanned, kissed by the sun? I'd never tasted nothing sweeter. <br><br>

 Now, I could go all day with my recollection of my.. Whatever the hell it was, and you may even be interested in hearin' it, friend.<br><br>

 But my tongue is tired and there ain't enough whiskey in the world to energize it. The man I was before that evening? It doesn't matter. Ain't a soul I knew or know that can put me in the grave where I probably ought to be. My name's Oberyn Shaw, and I'm a <i>dead man walkin'</i>.

 <p>💀 <i>Undead Physiology</i> - Oberyn does not rot, and he does not age. He does not require oxygen, nor food or sleep to function. Resistant to harsh conditions such as cold or extreme heat. Cannot die to disease nor conventional wounds. <br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Indomitable Will</i> - He possesses an uncanny immunity to subliminal seduction, and mind control. Oberyn has faced great physical and psychological trauma - it is perhaps this trait that allowed him to rise from the dead in the woods to begin with. <br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Brain Dead</i> - As an Undead, Oberyn's mind does not function like one who lives. His thoughts are beyond reading. Due to this sort of blanking of the mind, illusions will often have no effect. <br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Regeneration</i> - Oberyn may regenerate damaged or long-gone tissue if he consumes flesh. <br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Petrifying Gaze</i> - He can freeze lesser Undead with a stare, and those not Undead with direct and prolonged eye contact. <br><br>

<p>💀 <I>Conduit</i> - Though often detrimental to himself, Oberyn can act as a conduit for magic, amplifying output if performed or moved through him first.<br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Swiftness</i> - Can move well beyond human capacity for short bursts. <br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Plagueshot</i> - If it is living, and wounded by one of Oberyn's specially made bullets, odds are it'll be poisoned and begin to wither.<br><br>

<p>💀 <i>Summoning</i> - Oberyn can summon a host of weapons, namely his Winchester 1887.<br><br>
