  49. A mysterious creature, known as Ink, steals a child's soul in hopes of using it as a bargaining chip to join the Incubi - the group of supernatural beings responsible for creating nightmares.
  50. When we go to sleep, two forces battle for our dreams: the Storytellers, who give us good dreams; and the Incubi, who give us nightmares. Widower John Sullivan is estranged from his young daughter Emma, having been deemed unable to care for her. Now on the edge of a huge investment deal with a major corporation, he is unaware that he is being stalked by an Incubus. And on the city outskirts, a mysterious stranger named Ink snatches little Emma from her bed and escapes into the dream world, intent on selling her soul to the Assembly of the Incubi so that he may be allowed entry into their ranks. A small band of Storytellers realizes that the only way to save Emma is to reunite her with her father in the physical world, and they will do anything to make sure that this comes to pass.
  51. While I have stood idly by and read others comments on so many movies, I feel compelled to say something about this one. Truly a work of art, and it&#39;s an injustice that it is not more well known for I stumbled across this movie by chance and had heard nothing of it. This is far better than anything at the theaters now a days and was so well done in every aspect of it. A must see movie for anyone who gets a chance, like an escape away from the usual routine we are accustomed to.<br/><br/>From the beginning this movie will grab your attention. From the subtle effects that are done just right, to the acting from all parties of the cast. A very wholesome experience. Perhaps the rest of the film industry could take a lesson or two and make a decent movie like this and not waste millions of dollars on the junk they crank out on a daily basis.
  52. I caught the screening in Denver at Starz opening night. Let me preface this with I am extremely critical when it comes to movies so getting an 8 out of 10 is very high. The originality of this movie is amazing but at the same time it&#39;s not original at all. It takes elements from fairy tales and movies such as the Matrix and Dark City. It&#39;s a simple story of a monster kidnapping a little girl and those who set out to save her. <br/><br/>Here&#39;s what&#39;s amazing, they shot it on a middle of the road HD camera with almost no budget. The editing is pretty good and the special effects enhance the movie. I&#39;m sure a lot of it was done in After Effects or something similar. <br/><br/>My only gripe is Jamin (writer, director, editor) could cut about 15 - 20 minutes of the overall movie b/c when it drags, it drags (kill your babies dude) and the sound levels seemed too high throughout (one more pass in the NLE system should fix it).<br/><br/>Overall, If you support independent film go see this, if you&#39;re sick of boring commercial crap go see this, if you have nothing to do on a week night go see this. I liked it, a lot.
