<h1>The Elder Captain</h1>

<center><b><i>"So I shall create a new path. For my Kell, and for my people. I shall burn the Dark away, and bring light through it all. The flames shall carry us forwards. While my rage will continue to fuel it."</b></i><br><br></center>

A flash of light. Once floating in a void of darkness, the Eliksni was reborn. He was awoken, in the forests of what was once Germany. The European Dead Zone, as he would soon find out later. It was morning, and the first words he heard were from the curious Ghost, whose name was <a target="_blank" href="https://i.imgur.com/zGisuf8.png"><font color="#F8941D">Gideon</font></a>. While unsure of his new companion, the two were to travel together. It was not long, however, that the Captain would come upon a sight. Of Warlords, working with what was his people, to enslave an encampment of humans to harvest the materials to make the Ether that fuels the Fallen. The state of those who worked the mines, it wasn't right. Something in the Eliksni's mind clicked, which was encouraged by his Ghost.<br><br>

 They needed to free these people. And after fighting his way to slay the warlord, he did. He didn't remain within the now freed settlement, but he remained near, choosing to fight for these people while he learned more about what he was. But, as much as he tried to hide himself from the settlement, there was one who discovered him. A small girl, who followed him back to his cave, too young to understand that he might be a danger. But she was alone, her family was gone, and with nowhere to go, Sykras took her in. It was a mutual bond. Sykras was ageless, but knew nothing of the people he was protecting. She would go in his stead, to learn of the goings on in the settlement, while he did the only thing he knew how to, teach her to fight. And after years, a warrior she became, but not all was wel. Soon, the warlords returned, not to reclaim, but to destroy. They left the Settlement in embers, and as much as the woman fought, she was no match for the twisted power of the light. In the end she fell, and the Captain became enraged, his mind clouded by fury. He held nothing back, and even through all the pain, all the wounds, he fought through them all, and eventually was the last standing. Around him, a burning Settlement, a dead friend, and another presence.<br><br>

 A Kell, standing among the flames, but his colors were not the same as the other Fallen. His name was Trovaks, and like Sykras, was one with the light. An extended hand, an offer to join him. To bring their people back from the Dark. As always, he begrudgingly accepted, becoming the first Captain to the House of Redemption.
