- Anki'Lo was born into a privileged position. Anki'Lo was the first-born son of the venerable Anki'Mo, a highly ranked Adjudicator from a planet humans have designated as LV-855. Though classified as a 'Death World' by human standards, here a large clan of Yaujta grow and thrive, hunting the dangerous and plentiful super fauna that populate the rain-forests of their world. Being the son of an Adjudicator marked Anki'Lo for destiny of greatness.
- Anki'Lo was granted access to the best training and tutoring that his clan offered. Elites tutored him from the moment he was able to walk, and he had earned his own combi-stick nearly a decade before the unblooded within his brood did. He single-handedly stalked and took down a great Thunder Lizard (a giant reptilian carnivore, roughly the size of a Ravenger) during his blooding ritual. His wild success had brought no small degree of pride to the young Yaujta, and he rushed out into the community to claim hunt after hunt.
- Then came for the time for his elite test. Anki'Lo was paired up with a single elite, Black Rogue, to clear out a small serpent hive on forgotten backwater planet. Once the site of a small human outpost, the serpents had overrun the entire surface and entrenched themselves deep within the infrastructure of the human home. Anki'Lo was to return with the head of the Serpent Queen, to prove his place among the Elite of his clan and to join his father among the ruling class of his planet. The yaujta could barely contain his excitement once the day came. He had trained for months in the harshest conditions available, spoken to the most veteran serpent hunters. He was ready, he could feel it in his blood. So ready was he, he ignored the plans of Black Rogue. After all, what did the Elite know that he himself had not already learned?
- Anki'Lo nearly died that day. He rushed into the hive with wild abandon, springing from his surprise position. He claimed several hides in the blink of an eye, his combistick slicing through the black-carapace of his prey. The drones of the hive where no match for his clever trap. Why would they be? Anki'Lo's traps where brilliant! Every teacher he had ever had told him as much. His count had reached a mighty eight before the rest of the hive responded to the presence of their stalker.
- New bioforms emerged, these ones sturdier and harder than the weak drones Anki'lo had surprised moments ago. Forms more suited to combat, with faster reflexes and sharper claws. He employed his plasmacaster along with his combistick, though he could not keep his resistance up. A pair of ravagers were upon him now. A bladed tail slashed through the meat of his leg and he was brought down to the ground. The hive swarmed over him and began to drag him away.
- Black Rogue saved Anki'Lo from a fate worse then death. Before the young hunter knew what had happened, one of the lead ravagers lay dead and the remaining one found itself shredded at the scimitar claws of the Elite. Their battle was swift and bloody, through in the end the Elite tore off his mask and howled his victory to the great Warrior God. Then he turned to Anki'Lo and moved to assist the injured youngling. That provided to be the end of the Elite. A carrier bioform had crept up on Anki'Lo, preparing it's deadly payload of facehuggers. Spying the elite, it changed tactics.
- Rogue fell with a facehugger wrapped about it's neck, and the carrier fell to a rain of plasma from Anki'Lo's weapon.
- Anki'Lo offered his respects to Rogue, trapped as he was by the facehugger's grip. He activated the venerable elite's self-destruct device and returned to their scout ship. He relayed the story to his fellow hunters on his home planet and imposed an exile on himself for his gross failure. Though he had prevented the birth of an abomination, it was his actions that lead to the death of his superior. He refused to return to his clan's planet until he had cleared the black mark on his name in penance.
- Anki'Lo is a beast of a Yaujta. He stands half a head taller than a majority of his peers, with broad shoulders and tightly corded muscles. His gear all show signs of acid damage from his encounter with the serpent hive those years ago, never had he replaced the tools from that hunt. He would repair what he could on his own, or they would fail him and he would earn his penance in death against a new hive. His most noticeable feature are the acid burns about his left eye from where he had removed a ravager claw and got a face full of burning liquid for his trouble. He had nearly lost the eye on the trip home, and the vision never fully returned. The wound constantly itches, and during his rare encounters with his peers he has been known to lightly scratch at his mask in irritation.
- Anki'Lo remains young and cocky of his own skills. He is hot-tempered and eager to prove himself, though the wounds of his past failure serve as a strong warning to his gut reactions, cooling him with a growing temperance. His goal is to claim the head of a serpent queen and return to his father's side, much has he had set out to do those years ago.
