  22. Quartzite is a male Crystal Pony. His body is a colorless and translucent gemstone, eyes similar but grey in color. Quartzite was born into nobility, and lived it fully. Being the third son of the Duke Adamantine, Sir Quartzite took to being a knight for his country. He was born with his cutiemark (his family all having the same words, with different heraldic colors and symbols), the helmet above it appearing after he won his first tournament. Unfortunately, after his father was killed by the Prince Saeptuose in a hostile siege, he and his family were banished from their own domain. His two brothers turned to Equestrian Politics, but Quartzite remained a valorous soldier, acting as a general for troops and inspiring many of his tales of his family and it's valor.
