Far Away Dark Rooms

Miha's chest heaved as she drew in what would quickly become her last struggled breaths. Solomon lowered his hand from his last Eldritch blast, and looked down with an expression that wore a mixture of emotions. The Wei boy was hard to read, but he certainly seemed to feel genuinely betrayed. "I mean, I get it. She's a literal snake, haha very clever but...I let you in the dirt tent. I thought you were cool."

The young woman's eyes shot away, as if some form of guilt may have rooted itself in her, but she quickly steeled herself and turned back to the party. Miha coughed and struggled to choke out her words, but managed "You are all fools. They know now. We have not failed here today. Hail the g-great Tia...Tiamat." Her eyes shut as a last huff of air escaped her ruby red lips. Stella followed her words with a quick quip about how she'd be sending plenty of hobgoblins and dragons to hell to join her soon.

A sultry sigh filled the room as the light from the glass orb slowly faded, the image of the young woman with the body of a snake dimming from its view. Two black robed hands moved over it, as if trying to entice an image from it once more, but nothing followed. "What a shame."

A voice came from around the corner of the room. "So, what have we learned?" The question was asked, but with a voice that sounded like it already had all the answers, old and wise as if a parent rhetorically asking a child after a day's lesson.

The woman turned around, her lovely face and beautiful figure showing clearly from her somewhat revealing clothing. "It is as you expected, Tyrgarun. Everything is going exactly according to your plans. The spear from the north has arrived as you predicted...though as a group of vagabonds, not an army."

The gleaning emerald gems pulled back to form a smile as the beast's maw pushed through the dark doorway into the room. "So, then their plans forward continue as I said?"

The woman nodded, a coy smile on her face. "Yes, they march to Urikel Zarl."
