- == Current Gwyn strat ==
- You keep base VIT and 20 STR from Gargoyles to Gwyn, killing him in roll attack + 5 moveswaps. You don't dupe any bone and don't level up after Gwyn.
- == New Gwyn strat ==
- You level up 15 VIT and 27 STR (Those are the minimum stats to get that strat to work). You roll attack Gwyn + 3 moveswaps + 1 riposte and finish the fight with a quitout to trigger the ending quickly. However, to do that strat you need to dupe the bone at Gargoyles and O&S instead of simply using it and you need to level up before Gwyn instead on simply warping to Firelink.
- == Cons ==
- This strat is pretty cool but can fail without you doing anything wrong, where at least the current stat is 100% consistent. For example, if Gwyn sidestep during a moveswap and only 1 of the 2 hits of your moveswap hit, then you'll need an extra moveswap to kill him, making the entire strat 2s slower.
- Also, if you don't move around Gwyn correctly when switching to the shield, Gwyn will attack too early while you don't have enough stamina to block the fast and get guard break. This is pretty rare though and more based on how you move around Gwyn rather than RNG.
- And of course, you can get all the shenanigans you get in Any%, like grabs, backsteps or double fast attacks.
