Lihua was born in Wuhan, China. She didn't know who her father was so lived happily with her mother, who was a preschool teacher. Her mother had always loved children (hence the reason why she teaches them) and she was extremely happy when she gave birth to her first daughter. Lihua was always curious to find out who her father was and whenever she asked her mother about him, she would always change the subject. She became fed up of that because surely she had the right to know?

When she was 9, a war broke out causing many people to evacuate the area. Lihua and her mother sought refuge in Stay Kingdom where they lived from then on. Her mother managed to get a job as a preschool teacher just like she had in China.
