    - shizue is definitely not close with her mother, mostly since she's only met the goddess twice. ever since she was little, she hadn't liked the fact that her mother had just left, even though she didn't know who the woman was, and she continued to hold this grudge for ages, even refusing to meet with her actual mother when she first discovered she was a demigod. that was the first time that shizue met her mother, and the second was about three or four years later, when the goddess came in to see where shizue's interest in weapons was going. so needless to say, it's kind of obvious why the mother and daughter aren't exactly close. her father isn't really close with eris either, and the two don't get along at all. they try to act civil, but usually end up subtly sending verbal jabs at each other, because they really don't seem to get along after all these years. shizue's grandmother doesn't really like eris either, and makes an effort to steer clear out of the goddess' way.

» | BACKGROUND:
    ↝ shizue was born in osaka, japan, a few days short of christmas, and to say that shizue's birth came as a surprise is a bit of an understatement. her father, suzuki yuto, had absolutely no idea that she even existed until she was handed over to his custody, as her mother, being a goddess, couldn't look after her. he had honestly not been expecting a child, especially not this early in his life, as he was only twenty two at the time, and had a promising career a head of him in law. he knew nothing about raising a child, and he had no idea how he was going to be able to look after shizue and pursue a career in law. however, he token look at baby shizue and her cute little face, and he knew that he had to do whatever he could to make sure she grew up with a good life. as a single young man at the time, he usually had to leave shizue in the hands of baby sitters, and sometimes even her grandparents while he took his courses at college, at the time, they were on a very tight budget, which only made yuto even more determined to finish his degree and get a stable job so her could support for his family. however, he was able to pay the house bills for the very tiny flat that he and shizue lived in, and spent every walking moment that he wasn't studying or at college with his only daughter, watching her grow up. around the same time that yuto finished his degree and began working as a fully fledged lawyer, his father died due to cancer, which left him and his mother inheriting what was left of his money. this was enough to get him and shizue out of their tiny apartment, and they bought a larger apartment on the richer side of town, and shine's grandmother moved in with them. this was very convenient, as now shizue could be left with her grandmother, suzuki sora during the day when her father had to work. she was now living a relatively good life, because her father was bringing in a stable income, despite being a single father, and shizue was able to have anything she ever wanted. however, her father had to work long shifts a lot of the time, and shizue was mostly left with her grandmother. shizue was quick to become close with her grandmother during her childhood, as the woman was very keen on taking shizue out on trips to town and around the neighbourhood, and would often tell her stories of when she was child. eventually, shizue became closer with her grandmother, and began to go to the woman for everything.
    ↝ when shizue was nine years old, her father was transferred to gangnam, in south korea. so the family of three packed everything up to move to the rich town, as her father was quickly becoming a well known lawyer, and was earning a lot of money so that shizue and her grandmother could live comfortable lives. however, moving to a country that you didn't know anything about had it's problems for shizue, as she couldn't really speak korean at all, and now she was expected to start school there too. she made an effort, but her language skills at the time weren't very good, and she could only pick extremely basic korean, which led to her being put down into classes with younger kids instead so she could learn better. to say shizue didn't like it was an understatement. she'd come home upset for days, to the point where even her grandmother didn't know what to do to calm her down. eventually, her father decided to homeschool her, and pulled her out of the local primary school to get her a private tutor when she was eleven. shizue found learning a lot easier after this, and actually began to pick up the language a lot more quickly, probably due to the fact that she didn't feel as pressured as she had sitting in a classroom with twenty other kids. when she turned fourteen, her father decided to enrol her back in school, as now her korean was much better, and she was mostly fluent, other than stumbling over words every now and again when she was tired or distracted. this time, however, he'd enrolled her in a fancy private school. that was were she got scouted for her entertainment company, as she was walking home from school with a group of friends, and the scout advised her to attend an audition.
    ↝ shizue found out she was a demigod when she was eleven years old, and needless to say, she didn't take it very well. she refused to talk to anyone, and completely ignored both her father and her grandmother, feeling betrayed that she'd been lied to for most of her life. she didn't want to be a demigod, and she just wanted to be normal, so she did not appreciate having this bombshell dropped on her. it took a few weeks for her to come around to the idea of it all (and by that, i mean it took a few weeks before she'd talk to her father about it again), and her father suggested meeting her mother. shizue through a fit, and said some not so nice things, refusing to meet with her mother, who, in shizue's eyes, had abandoned her, and did not deserve to see her daughter. that was the beginning of the sour relationship between shizue and her mother, and shizue has still not, and probably won't ever forgive the woman for abandoning her, and refuses to acknowledge the fact that her mother had to do it and didn't have a choice in the matter.

    ↝ shizue honestly has a complicated personality that is hard to sum up in one word. at first glance, she looks like she'd be a bubbly and bright person, due to her youthful and innocent looking face. however, once you actually get to meet her, it becomes pretty clear that she is a daughter of eris, and bits of this can be reflected in her personality. shizue is a very pessimistic person, and unlike most people, she can always find the bad side in things, and is a glass half empty person. however, if you ever mention this to her, she'd be likely to argue that she is a realist, not a pessimist. as the daughter of eris, she's similar to her mother in some ways. shizue is usually a passive aggressive sort of person, she doesn't often lash out at people, unless they attack her first. she is known for her blank looks, and her intense death glare, which most people will probably find themselves on the receiving end of at least once in their life. people honestly find it amusing, because shizue doesn't have a resting bitch face, and instead chooses to mask her features into a blank expression. her mother is the goddess of discord, so naturally, shizue finds entertainment in drama and conflict between other people, as bad as it is. she isn't the type to go out and cause conflict or ill feelings between people (at least not intentionally), but she does find the drama interesting, as long as she's not involved. however, despite not really using her powers on people, she likes to practice them on her group mates, but she knows where to draw the line, and never crosses it. she can be a bit of a little shit sometimes, but only towards those she's close to. only her family and her group mates get to see her complex personality, as fans only really see her blank looks and her occasional cheeky personality. they might sometimes see the mischief she gets up to on camera, but they never know the full extent of it. there are a lot of things that fans don't know about her due to her image that's been created in the time since she debuted. fans don't really know that she absolutely loves skinship, because she constantly denies it, and they never see the way she clings to people like a koala behind the scenes. they don't see that she's not as stoic around the people she's comfortable with, and they never get to see her more laid back and happy personality around the group's dorm. shizue can hold grudges for a really long time. like seriously. if she doesn't like you, it will take a miracle to get into her good books, because she is very unlikely to change her opinion of you. she isn't usually an open person, and likes to keep her problems and thoughts to herself. her method is to ignore all of her problems until they go away, and she will avoid confrontation with them like the plague. she prefers to bottle everything up, because she doesn't want to show weakness, and prefers to cry everything out when she's on her own. shizue can also be very suspicious of the people around her, and is always eyeing people as if she's trying to determined their next move. this sort of comes from the sour feelings she still holds about being lied to for the first ten years of her life about being a demigod, and she doesn't really trust people very easily, and will probably start to push you away if you start getting two close to her or her friends/group mates. she is a bit motherly towards her group mates, despite being one of the youngest. she loves little kids, and has said that if she wasn't an idol she'd like to be an early childhood teacher or something. she has a habit of babying people who are younger than her, which is why she's taken a particular liking to the maknae, sending out her best death glares to anyone who dares to so much as look at the girl the wrong way. she can be a bit whiney at times, but has a way of always getting what she wants, as the managers know what she's capable of, and prefer to keep her happy. she isn't the sort of girl who likes to get her hands dirty 9especially not if she's just had her nails done), and prefers to make other people do things for her. she absolutely loves technology, however, and is pretty much glued to her phone, liking to have it near her at all times. shizue is scarily attached to her phone, and would probably spend all day playing addictive games like candy crush all day if it weren't for her idol schedules.

» | WHY DID YOUR CHARACTER AUDITION TO BECOME A TRAINEE?
    ↝ shizue was scouted for the entertainment company, and they recommended she audition, and she kind of figured why not? and just went for it. she didn't really think that she'd actually get accepted, since she didn't really have much of a musical background, despite the fact that she liked rapping (she always liked to imitate other people, and started copying some of the other korean rappers in the industry for a personal challenge.) she prepared a portion of the rap from BTS' WE ARE BULLETPROOF for her audition. the scouts seemed to think she had potential, and offered her a contract under the company, where she actually began training with rap as her main position, and later debuted with siren.

» | STYLE OF RAP: usually, she sticks to a rap style similar to BORA of SISTAR. however, ever since she was little, she had a habit of talking really fast, without stumbling over her words at all (however, she could only do this in japanese), and often liked to mimic people, so she was pretty good at picking up rapping when she started at the company. she can rap really fast, but only in japanese, so her rapping in any of SIREN's songs in slightly slower, as she's still trying to learn how to rap fast without stumbling over her korean or getting tongue tied.

» | STYLE OF DANCE: she's not one of the group's best dancers, and she's mostly in the back during dance breaks. she's not exactly a good dancer, but that's not to say she can't dance, because she can. she's just not as good as some of her group mates. she's not a trained dancer, and the only styles she's ever tried are the ones that fit the group's concept

    ↝ she fits SIREN's concept pretty well, and likes to think of herself as versatile in that way. she never really does aegyo, though some fans believe that she's cute without trying, due to her face. she is also the sort to suck up to her unnies while in front of fans, which only makes people think she's even cuter. she's not really blank-faced while performing, because she's learnt to use her expressions while she's dancing, and uses them to go with the groups dark concept.

    ↝ this is where her little shit™ nature comes out for fans to see. she is known to mess with her group members (all in good nature) just for her entertainment. she can also act really innocent. she can sometimes be a bit stoic, if they're on a show with other people who shizue doesn't really know (she tends to get overly suspicious of anyone outside of siren), and a bit blank faced if the camera isn't focused on her, but whenever the camera does turn to her, she'll always give the camera her most innocent look, which lead people to realise that she's probably up to no good anyway.

» | HOW THEY ACT OFF STAGE AND OFF CAMERA:
    ↝ she acts like her normal self off stage and off camera. she can be a bit more of a trouble maker, and messes around a lot, often causing drama between the DAUGHTER OF ATHENA and the DAUGHTER OF ARES for her personal entertainment, but she knows not to take it too far. since she's close with the other girls, she's really comfortable around them, and she actually isn't as stoic around them as she is around other people.

» | HARDSHIPS AND STRUGGLES AS A TRAINEE/IDOL:
    ↝ she didn't struggle that much, probably about the same as an average idol would. she often had trouble adjusting to the intense training and schedules, and the all the diets that they were put on (of course, her diet isn't as intense as it used to be, but shizue and the rest of siren still have to be completely taken off their diets). she had a bit of trouble with her rapping, because while she was good at it, she often had to listen to the lyrics over and over again to get the pronunciation write, and then try and rap them relatively fast without stumbling over her words. she often requested for the trainers to rap them for her, and would record it to take back and memorise and learn.
    ↝ she only suffered minor abuse from the other trainees, because once they found out who her mother was, they tried to steer clear of her. as her mother is the goddess of strife and discord, they figured that shizue would be the same, and didn't really want to get caught up with her. so as a trainee, she didn't really have any friends, until she was approached by the DAUGHTER OF PERSEPHONE, and they became rather odd friends, because shizue quickly became super protective over the younger girl. however, by some sort of fluke, the other girls in siren managed to get into shizue's good books and get her to open up. so basically the members of siren are the only people who are rarely ever on the receiving side of her death glare.

     - despite being a rather passive aggressive person herself, shizue actually has a guilty pleasure for drama. of course, she's been using her powers by accident for years, without even knowing they existed, unknowingly causing conflict between her school mates, just because she wanted some entertainment. when she realised that she was a demigod and found out about this power, she felt a bit bad about it, because she'd never intentionally meant to cause drama between people, so of course, she started learning to control it, because she didn't want to keep doing it by accident. she's gotten a lot better at it, and often practices it on the DAUGHTER OF ATHENA and the DAUGHTER OF ARES around the dorm. however, even though she's not the best at it yet, she knows how to control it so she doesn't accidentally make other people hate each other. as well as this, she's not yet at the level to make any conflict between others permanent (which is probably just as well, really), and any conflict she does cause is only temporary, lasting maybe a day at the most.

     - shizue isn't very good at this yet, as she only discovered it recently, and has only known that she can do it for about six months. so naturally, it is to be expected that she's not good at it yet. she honestly finds it really interesting, and wants to learn how to fully control her powers and get better at it. after learning to control it for six months, she's learn to do it on a small scale, and can envelope half of the practice room in darkness before undoing it and returning it to normal. however, despite finding it really interesting, she'd actually sort of scared that she'll loose control, and manage to turn something dark on a larger scale and then not be able to undo it. she also knows that once she gets really good at it, she'll be able to travel through the darkness, but that thought alone is also kind of terrifying, because she's scared she'll get stuck halfway or something.

    - she only started learning to use a weapon once she was accepted in the company, and they suggest she start preparing on the off chance she'd have to compete in sacrificial lamb. shizue hadn't bothered even thinking about learning to fight up until that point, because she hated being a demigod, and honestly wanted to just ignore it until it went away. having no choice, she picked up a gun, since it was probably one of the most common weapons there are. since she's ambidextrous, she saw fit to carry around two, finding it quite easy to learn how to aim reasonably well with both of her hands.
    ↝ MARTIAL ARTS ; skill level (3/10)
    - again, she only started learning because the company insisted. however, shizue has always been more of a passive aggressive person, and doesn't really like fighting. of course, since she didn't like it, she never put as much effort into it, and she's honestly sort of regretting it now that she has to go on sacrificial lamb because she is not prepared at all, and is probably the worst at hand to hand combat in the group.

» | HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT BEING ON SACRIFICIAL LAMB?
    ↝ shizue is high key pissed off (then again, when is she not?), but she really didn't want to be on sacrificial lamb. she hates being a demigod, and now the fact that she is one is basically putting her life at risk because she has to compete in this show. she just wants it to be over and done with (hopefully, she'll be one of the survivors at the end, preferably with at least half of her group mates standing by her side).

    ↝ shizue is more of a passive aggressive person, so she's not really the type of person to actually go out an attack you. however, if you attack her first, she will fight back. i don't think she'd intentionally try to kill someone, but if her fingers slip and she pulls the trigger of her gun, i think she'd feel bad about it for a bit. however, she's the type to ignore her problems, so she'd bottle up her feelings until the show was over, and then let everything go, as she's not the type to show weakness often, especially not on live television.

» | HOW WOULD YOUR CHARACTER REACT TO WATCHING SOMEONE DIE? WHAT IF S/HE WAS CLOSE TO THAT PERSON?
    ↝ she'd probably be a bit upset and a bit put off if she saw someone die right in front of her. however, if it was someone from the other groups, she probably wouldn't get so hung up over it, as she wouldn't really know them that well anyway (unless she did get really close to them). if it was one of her group mates, she'd probably flip, and would either throw up, or throw a tantrum and swear revenge on whoever was responsible for the death.

» | WOULD YOUR CHARACTER SABOTAGE SOMEONE ELSE? WHAT IF IT WAS TO SAVE SOMEONE S/HE IS CLOSE TO? HOW WOULD SHE REACT IF THAT CAUSED THE PERSON'S DEATH?
    ↝ shizue would probably be very likely to sabotage other people to give her group an advantage. she'd be all for using her powers to create conflict between competitors, but i think she'd only do it if it was absolutely necessary. she doesn't really want to be in these games to start with, and would probably only sabotage people if they tried to do something to her first. however, she would definitely be the type to sabotage someone who had tried (or succeeded) in trying to kill on of her group mates, and she probably wouldn't feel very bad about it.
