So, you're probably expecting an xkcd comic, and if you find it particularly humorous, that's a sign you should support the 102d Jr.s. There are a bunch of xkcd comics about how [insert pop culture reference here] is actually this old, and so you should feel old. Which would be a fitting choice for "you should root for the team of young kids." Unfortunately, I couldn't find one of those comics that I liked, both because confronting the inexorable passage of time sometimes gives me the creeps too, but also because I think I'm slightly younger than Randall Munroe and the pop culture references from his childhood aren't necessarily the stuff I'm into. So instead of a comic, you get this meta-humor; if the ironic self-awareness of this post is funnier than the linked xkcd strips, maybe you should be a 102d Jr.s fan!
