Scanning souls

Exploring the nature of the soul via Analysis went nowhere near as well as scanning matter. You did discover something interesting...History, the concept, makes up a fairly massive portion of a given soul, but doesn't interact with Magic Circuits. Instead, History absorbs stray bits of prana and od and does...something. You're not quite sure what. Those bits of prana and od emerge changed though and proceed to integrate into your soul, causing it to grow ever-so-slightly in the process. You got to scan your mom, dad, the squirrel you took genetic data from, and a couple random people, and this process was almost the exact same in all of them. So was this how souls stored memories, or people developed over time? You did notice something interesting, however. In older people, it started looking like those bits of integrated prana-the very oldest at least-were getting flaky...
