The Monster World Tournament uses Monster Capsules as warriors to take Star Chips.
When you have enough Star Chips, you can challenge the floor's Dark Master.
You fight the Dark Master in Monster World.
Win and you can go up to the next floor.
If you reach the top floor, floor 5, you can challenge Kaiba to win.

They get stronger if they win battles and gain experience.

Win Star Chips in battles with other contestants on the floor.
When you have enough Star Chips, you can challenge the floor's Dark Master.
Also, you put a Star Chip in a Capsule Machine to get an MC.
If you run out of Star Chips or all of your MC, you're disqualified.

Choose up to 4 MC to place in battle and decide their formation.
You take your turn, then the opponent takes their turns, and so on.
On your turn, you can have your MC "Move" or "Attack".
The first player to defeat all enemy MC wins.

Depending on your MC formation, the difficulty will change.

It is used for attack results in battle and various events.

There is one on each floor.
Only by collecting Star Chips can you battle the Dark Master.
If you defeat the Dark Master, you can advance to the next floor.

You fight the Dark Master in Monster World.
Use MC to explore a world the Dark Master created.
If you clear the set goal of that world, you win.
But if you're defeated by monsters or the like during the adventure, you lose.

If you select "Record" from the menu, you save the state of your game up to that point.
You can write your record anywhere, except for some places in Monster World.

Sometimes, capsules other than MC will come out of Capsule Machines.
If you use those capsules on an MC, their stats go up a little.
AT Capsules increase attack.
DF Capsules increase defense.
HP Capsules increase health.
SP Capsules increase speed.
These Capsules are called "P-Capsules".
