- You draw your newfound blade from your back. With a flick of your wrist you cut the man’s throat. You do it properly and blood rushes forth from the man’s neck like a spout. You turn your face before it covers your eyes. Warmth runs down your form.
- Then, you launch yourself towards the nearest Scavenger as he turns. You bring down your blade at the junction between helmet and chest armor. The man gives a cry, drops his weapon, and reaches for his wound.
- Withdrawing your blade, you kick him towards his nearest ally. The man topples as his friend crashes into him. You pounce, your sword descends, and his skull breaks beneath your weight and the point of your sword.
- Bullets whiz past you. You dive into cover. However, you choose to keep moving. Movement is life. Stillness is death. That is what you have been taught. So, you continue moving. As bullets begin to concentrate upon your position, as the scavengers begin to reform their lines, you lunge towards another position and then another. You keep them guessing, looking for opportunities to shoot at you, because every bullet your way is a bullet that isn’t going the Mao’s way.
