Apollyon's Story..kinda

A child born into the cruel world, unforgiving and heartless. This was the world Apollyon Gaver  had been introduced at the age of two years old. To please the dark spirit within the cavern of bones, he had been thrown off the cliff side by his own parents.

To where his story truly begins, we must look at the 'dark spirit' within the Caverns. It was a elder dragon made of bones who laid to rest below who required food each month to be pleased, humans who had a access amount of magic within them. This thought had been scoffed at by most dragons and as such, he was sealed at the bottom of this trench for hundreds of years but he grew old.

So when a child fell to a pond below, he could only watch with interest as he could feel the power course through it upon impact. Crackling to himself, he concocted a plan... a plan to escape and be free of this damn seal. This child shall be strong enough to do it but he must keep it from dying first. -c-
Not being very found of Humans, he raised this boy to have the mind set of a dragon! Prideful in combat but never unwise to backdown to proven power, fierce as the death they spread but never to over feed as the hunt must last, and the most important thing... to NEVER let anyone look down upon you in combat!  That being said, the old dragon had found a new emotion he hadn't felt...pride in another. As he watched the boy learn his arts, he felt almost charmed by the happiness but this boy must not show this! Happiness leads to weakness and a Bone Dragon Slayer must be able to throw away their happiness to consume... grow in power.

Being at the age of 5 seemed to grow troublesome though for this 'old bag of bones' as the boy puts it since he refuses to do much of what he asked of the Dragon Slayer, enough so that they would fight on occasions much to the horror of the towns folk above. How'd that normally end up? More bodies being thrown down and wounds on both Dragon and Slayer. Eh, they didn't care in the end. It was a good way for fresh food and training.-c-
Training till the day the Dragon, Grium, had vanished leaving a confused dragon Slayer at the bottom of the lowest point of the cave one year after his 6th birthday. That had been the day he began training to climb out of the cave.... that had also been the day he promised himself, he would find that old bag of bones again to rattle him a good one. It had taken him  three years, leaving him 10 years old and physically stronger than he had ever been in his life.

All of the town folk had been preforming the ritual the day he came out making them his first targets. Ironically it had been the son of a distant relative of the man who ordered his family to throw him off that had been taken out as his first target with a victories roar sending a hole through his body. That had also been the day of vanishing for the small town of Alicamoulis.

How he ended up in Fiore and in a Guild? Well... who knows that tale?
