  26.
  27. Our WOW Bot Honorbuddy can help you in the following areas: Leveling by Grinding or Questing, Person-versus-Person Battles (PVP), Mining, Harvesting, Enchanting, Skinning, Engineering, Archaeology, Dungeons and so much more. Honorbuddy uses a fully unique Navigation System, fully integrated vendoring, mailing and usage of Flightmaster, its open API allows developers to write Add-ons, Combat Classes, Plugins and much more
  28.
  29. The Honorbuddy program has several tabs containing various information to configure and obtain status of the bot. Although most of the settings are self-explanatory, some are not. This article discusses each of the settings and any user considerations. The individual Honorbuddy "Bot" settings are discussed on a separate Wiki page. The pages in this group include:

  40.
  41. This is the name of the account you created in the Buddy shop to purchase your Buddy product (Gatherbuddy or Honorbuddy). It is most likely, but not necessarily, the same name of the account that you use on the Buddy forums.
  42.
  43. 2. Password input box
  44.
  45. This is the same password that you created in the Buddy shop to purchase your Buddy product (Gatherbuddy or Honorbuddy). Do not confuse it with your Buddy forums password which may be different.
  46.
  47. Once you successfully log with your Buddy product, the "Login" tab will disappear from the tab set. There is no way to "Log out", other than to close the running Buddy product.
  48.
  49. Any errors you encounter, such as "Not Paid" or "Max Sessions Reached" will be displayed in the Log window. If you have problems logging in with your Buddy product, please refer to Buddy products: Solving Authentication Problems for help.
  50.
  51. Status tab
  52. Honorbuddy Settings Tab Status.png
  53.
  54. 1. Targets panel
  55.
  56. This panel displays the mobs to which Honorbuddy will show initial aggression. This panel should be populated when using Grinding Profiles, or Questing Profiles that have 'collection' or 'kill' tasks for mobs. It should obviously be populated during PvP. At other times, this panel may be empty.
  57.
  58. Note that even if mobs show in this panel, Honorbuddy will not attack them unless they are within the "Pull distance" of the Bot. The "Pull distance" is a setting the user may change on the "General Settings" tab, described below.
  59.
  60. 2. Loot List panel
  61.
  62. This panel shows nearby items in the area that Honorbuddy is interested in looting.
  63.
  64. Herbs, if "Harvest Herbs" is turned on
  65. Ore, if "Harvest Minerals" is turned on
  66. Skinnable mobs, if "Skin Mobs" is turned on
  67. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  68. Chests, if "Loot Chests" is turned on
  69. Dead, unlooted mobs, if "Loot Mobs" is turned on
  70. Objects needing interaction required by the current quest (e.g., collection tasks)
  71.
  72. If turned on, the items above must be within the "Loot Radius" of the toon. Configuring what to harvest, and the Loot Radius are part of the Questing and Grinding Bot Settings. These Bot settings are discussed further in the HonorBuddy: Honorbuddy Bots and their Settings Wiki article.
  73.
  74. 3. Infopanel panel
  75.
  76. The Infopanel is a list of statistics of how well the Bot is performing. If you've installed a CustomClass, are doing heavy questing, most people are interested in the Kills/Hour (experience), or the Deaths/Hour (to identify Profiles with problems).
  77.
  78. 4. Bot selection combo box
  79.
  80. Bots determine the overall behavior of Honorbuddy. Bots that ship with Honorbuddy include Grinding, Questing, PvP, and Mixed(Grinding while waiting for the PvP queue to pop). Additional bots may become available in the future--such as an Instance-running Bot. It is also possible for the Buddy Community to create their own Bots; however, it requires substantive programming skills to accomplish this.
  81.
  82. Each of the bots is further described on the HonorBuddy: Honorbuddy Bots and their Settings Wiki page.
  83.
  84. 5. "Current Goal" area
  85.
  86. This area is largely for use in Questing Profiles only, although you may see other information displayed here from time to time. This area displays the immediate Quest goal being sought by the Bot.
  87.
  88. 6. Start / Stop button
  89.
  90. This button toggles between "Start" and "Stop". When Honorbuddy is running, it will toggle to say "Stop". When Honorbuddy is stopped, it will toggle to say "Start".
  91.
  92. 7. Load Profile button
  93.
  94. Using this button, the user is able to select the Profile which Honorbuddy should execute. Farming, Grinding, and Questing profiles are selected this way. Honorbuddy already has any needed PvP Profile built in.
  95.
  96. The button conveniently remembers the last directory from which Profiles were loaded, and returns to that directory when selecting a new Profile.
  97.
  98. 8. Bot Settings button
  99.
  100. This button causes a pop-up configuration dialog to be displayed for the Bot selected. Recall that the Bot is chosen with the "Bot selection" combo box (Item 4).
  101.
  102. The pop-up configuration dialog is different for each bot used. The configuration dialogs for each Bot are discussed in the HonorBuddy: Honorbuddy Bots and their Settings Wiki article.
  103.
  104. Logs
  105. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  106. Honorbuddy Settings Log Log.png
  107. Log area
  108.
  109. The Log area provides information during Login and Authentication to the Buddy servers to let the user know about any problems encountered.
  110.
  111. After a successful connection to the Buddy servers, the Log area is largely used by the Plugins and CustomClasses(CCs) to inform the user of the general actions they are taking while the Bot is running.
  112.
  113. Mobs or harvest nodes that are blacklisted by Honorbuddy for various reasons will also be reported here.
  114.
  115. Honorbuddy Settings Log DebugLog.png
  116.
  117. Debug Log area
  118.
  119. The Debug Log is used by the HBcore, Plugins, and CCs to provide a detailed log of what it sees, and the actions being taken by the Bot while it is running. The information displayed here is largely in the form of numbers. These numbers identify which spells are being used, details about mobs, distances, and interactions between the toon and an NPC. The numbers make the information unambiguous—since they are independent of local language—to the developers that may need to analyze a problem.
  120.
  121. Additionally, 'exceptions' (serious error conditions) will be displayed here when they occur. These exceptions provide a large amount of detail to the developers that help them repair a misbehaving product—be it the HBcore, a Plugin, or a CustomClass.
  122. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  123.
  124. Honorbuddy Settings Log NavigationLog.png
  125.
  126. Navigator Log area
  127.
  128. The Navigator Log is the output from Honorbuddy's navigation system. This system is actually provided by a third-party component (Recast). The Navigator Log tells the user and developers how long it takes to generate certain Navigation paths, or when the paths cannot be generated.
  129.
  130. If you see a message in this area to the effect of "Could not generate full path from...", then your toon is likely standing in a non-navigable area—perhaps it has fallen off the top of the hill onto a ledge. You may need to move your toon manually to get it back to a navigable area.
  131.
  132. General Settings tab
  133. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  134. Honorbuddy Settings Tab GeneralSettings.png
  135.
  136. 1. Mesh folder input box
  137.
  138. Meshes are the navigational files that Honorbuddy uses to traverse the game world. The meshes themselves are downloaded from a central repository and placed in the directory specified here. If this field is not populated, then Honorbuddy selects a default location based on the user's account that is logged into Windoze. This allows all instances of Honorbuddy, running under that user account, to share a common mesh directory.
  139.
  140. We recommend that you leave this value blank. However, if you wish to place your downloaded mesh files in a particular directory, this input box allows for its specification.
  141.
  142. 2. Food name input box
  143. 3. Drink name input box
  144. 4. Mount name input box
  145.
  146. This is the item that Honorbuddy should use when it needs health, mana, or travel, respectively. You may populate this field with either the name of the item to use, or its Item ID. If you use the name, you must be certain it is spelled correctly; otherwise, Honorbuddy won't eat, drink, or ride. The name must be in the same language being used by your WoWclient (e.g., English, German, etc.). Many users prefer to use the Item ID as this eliminates errors due to language or spelling.
  147.
  148. For the Mount name field, if you use a name, there is one 'gotcha' to be aware of. The Paladin and Warlock have summonable mounts. For instance, the Paladin's travel spell is called Summon Charger. However, Honorbuddy only wants to see "Charger" as the value in this field.
  149.
  150. Some Plugins and CustomClasses will overwrite, or override (use their judgement and ignore the value) these fields.
  151.
  152. Need to know how to locate the item ID for your food, drink, or mount? Visit Profile Writing: Locating IDs for Game World Entities.
  153.
  154. 5. Pull distance input box
  155.
  156. The value of this field determines at what range Honorbuddy will show initial aggression towards the mobs surrounding the toon. If a mob matches the criteria set forth by the Profile in use, and its within the "Pull distance" of the toon's current position (or the Hotspot being visited by the Profile), then Honorbuddy will initiate combat with that mob.
  157.
  158. 6. Use Mount check box
  159.
  160. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  161.
  162. If this box is unchecked, then Honorbuddy will remain on foot.
  163.
  164. We can think of no cases where you wouldn't want this box enabled. However, there may be a few highly-specialized situations where it becomes useful.
  165.
  166. 7. Use Experimental Path Following check box
  167.
  168. Honorbuddy uses the Recast navigation toolkit to move about the game world. Certain aspects of Recast are tunable, and this box allows the user to select a different set of parameter presets for navigational purposes. The presets are not configurable by the user--only which set of presets to be used is selectable--experimental, or normal.
  169.
  170. Generally, you want this feature enabled. But if you find yourself getting hung up on landscape objects, falling off cliffs, or moving about the world in an otherwise awkward fashion, try turning this option on to see if it helps. Be aware that this type of bad movement behavior can also be caused by an overloaded/underpowered computer, or low frame rates in the WoWclient. To resolve these issues, please see "My toon stumbles around a lot".
  171.
  172. Simply find the setting for this option that most closely suits your tastes. Most users won't notice a difference.
  173.
  174. 8. Kill Between Hotspots check box
  175.
  176. Without this box checked, Honorbuddy will only kill mobs that are within "Pull distance" of the next Hotspot to visit as determined by the Profile. If the Profile is written with Hotspots spaced far apart, then the toon will run through perfectly suitable mobs to find the ones near the next hotspot.
  177.
  178. Obviously, the above situation looks awkward. So, enabling this checkbox, will kill all the mobs that meet the Profile's criteria that are between the Hotspots laid out by the Profile.
  179.
  180. In short, the general Rule of Thumb for this setting is:
  181.
  182. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda] ON, while using a 'grinding' profile
  183. OFF, at all other times ('farming' profile, 'questing' profile, etc)
  184.
  185. A farming profile is one that just gathers resources (ore, herbs) and you want to ignore mobs as much as possible. The exception is skinning. If you are skinning, you will want this option "ON".
  186. While questing, if you find yourself squishie and running through lots of mobs, turning this option "ON" may help you die a little less often. However, it will slow down questing substantially as you will be killing mobs that do not help you achieve your quest goals. Also, this doesn't always work, because questing profiles won't target mobs "in general", they have to be part of a 'grinding' sub-objective of the quest profile.
  187.
  188.
  189. 9. CC Configuration button
  190.
  191. This button brings up a pop-up dialog that lets you configure the CustomClass(CCs) used by the Bots. Examples include, when to heal, when to use special attacks, how to interact with members of the party, etc.
  192.
  193. The configurability is solely determined by the author of the CustomClass. Many CCs do not provide for user configuration.
  194.
  195. The Default CCs that ship with Honorbuddy are not user configurable. (I.e., this button does nothing).
  196.
  197. Profiles & Meshes tab
  198. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  199.
  200. This tab is largely for use by Profile Writers, or people debugging Profiles. It is of little interest to the average Honorbuddy user. All of the information provided by these buttons will be displayed in Honorbuddy's "Log" tab.
  201. Honorbuddy Settings Tab ProfilesMeshes.png
  202.
  203. 1. Target Info button
  204.
  205. When a mob is selected in the WoWclient, pressing this button will display several lines of information about the mob in Honorbuddy's "Log" tab. For example:
  206.
  207. Information about Elder Shardtooth:
  208. Name = Elder Shardtooth
  209. Wowhead Id = 7445
  210. Faction = 16 [Monster]
  211. Location = <7486.33, -4254.083, 656.8412>
  212. <Vendor Name="Elder Shardtooth" Entry="7445" Type="Repair" X="7486.382" Y="-4253.606" Z="656.9242" />
  213.
  214. Of interest to most is the "Faction" line.
  215.
  216. 2. My Position button
  217.
  218. Pressing this button will display in Honorbuddy's "Log" tab the toon's current position in the world. The information takes the form of a Profile Hotspot line:
  219.
  220. <Hotspot X="7616.168" Y="-4409.072" Z="614.4371" />
  221.
  222. 3. Blackspot button
  223.
  224. Pressing this button once, captures the toon's current position. In the WoWclient, the toon is then moved to a new position, and this button is pressed a second time. The two points defined by the toon identify the diameter of a circle, for which the Radius and centerpoint were calculated. The result is a Blackspot definition displayed to Honorbuddy's "Log" tab, as follows:
  225.
  226. <Blackspot X="7607.869" Y="-4547.402" Z="630.0039" Radius="6.620573" />
  227.
  228. 4. Active Quests List button
  229.
  230. Pressing this button emits the all the quests in the toon's logfile in a form that can be used for direct inclusion in a Profile. The information takes the following form:
  231.
  232. <Quest Id="5981" Name="Rampaging Giants">
  233.
  234. <Objective Type="KillMob" MobId="7428" KillCount="4">
  235.
  236. <Hotspots>
  237. </Hotspots>
  238.
  239. </Objective>
  240. <Objective Type="KillMob" MobId="7429" KillCount="4">
  241.
  242. <Hotspots>
  243. </Hotspots>
  244.
  245. </Objective>
  246.
  247. </Quest>
  248.
  249. These statements are cut-and-pasted into a Profile to perform a Quest Override, when needed.
  250.
  251. 5. Quest Order button
  252. 6. Specific Quest ID input box
  253.
  254. These two fields are used together. One enters the number of a desired quest in the "Specific Quest ID" input box, then presses the "Quest Order" button.
  255.
  256. The result is a set of Profile statements that can be cut-and-pasted into a Profiles QuestOrder section. For example:
  257.
  258. <PickUp QuestName="Rampaging Giants" QuestId="5981" GiverName="" GiverId="" />
  259. <Objective QuestName="Rampaging Giants" QuestId="5981" Type="KillMob" MobId="7428" KillCount="4" />
  260. <Objective QuestName="Rampaging Giants" QuestId="5981" Type="KillMob" MobId="7429" KillCount="4" />
  261. <TurnIn QuestName="Rampaging Giants" QuestId="5981" TurnInName="" TurnInId="" />
  262.
  263. Plugins tab
  264. Honorbuddy 5.07 cracked download [mda]
  265. Honorbuddy Settings Tab Plugins.png
  266.
  267. 1. Installed Plugins area
  268.
  269. This area shows the Plugins you have installed into the <honorbudy_install_dir>/Plugins directory. There may be Plugins that you have installed, but Honorbuddy is unable to compile (perhaps, the Plugin hasn't been updated in a while). Uncompilable Plugins will not be present in this list.
  270.
  271. Honorbuddy only ships with the "AutoEquip" plugin.
  272.
  273. 2. Plugin identity
  274.
  275. If you select a Plugin from the "Plugins" area, then the details about the plugin are shown in this area. Specifically, the Author, and Revision of the Plugin.
  276.
  277. 3. Plugin Enabled checkbox
  278.
  279. Plugins are not enabled by default. If you would like to enable a Plugin, you will need to select it from the "Plugins" area, and enable it with this checkbox. You must repeat this process for each plugin you wish to enable.
  280. Honorbuddy saves a Plugin's "enabled" status globally—not on a "per Toon" basis.
  281.
  282. 4. Plugin configuration button
  283.
  284. The text of this button is defined by the Plugin; however, whatever the text that is displayed, this button provides access to the Plugin's configuration GUI, if any has been provided.
  285.
  286. Plugin configuration may be global, or on a per-toon basis. This is determine by the author of the Plugin.
  287.
  288. 5. Recompile All button
  289.
  290. If you install a new Honorbuddy plugin, or update a plugin, this button will cause all plugins to be recompiled. It may take a couple of minutes for this procedure to complete—depending on how many plugins are installed, and their complexity. While the plugins are compiling, Honorbuddy is "locked up" until the operation completes.
