Girl on Fire

Idea- A little girl who took revenge on her stalker is not satisfied.

Type of Plot- Plot Heavy (Based off Original Short Story/Exploration with Heavy Plot guide)

The Poolboys will surface at a pond in what is known as Charity Lake, a place that appears to be an American Suburb of Idealism. Pure American dream. Once exploring they will be greeted by some neighbors asking if they moved in recently and inviting them over being really friendly. They will suggest that they have moved in at the 1567 Woodland Dr. House that was recently rebuilt.

Upon more questioning of the townspeople the Poolboys will discover that the house was burned down during an arson killing the family inside except for a little girl who has not been seen since leaving many to suspect she is the culprit.

However upon getting to the home they will discover it. If they go into investigate the house will quickly burst into flames, smoke detectors will go off and they will hear screaming for help coming from the upper rooms and yelling. (Perception Check to notice the flames/smoke will be done first)

Should they go to try and help they will see the deaths of the prior family. With a small girl crying while a person sings a song- "Little Bird, Little Bird, come fly to me. Your friends have all flown, you are all alone, come now little bird won't you sing to me? Kill all in sight and burn down the tree."

The fire will not be able to be extinguished and will burn to the point where the girl runs out the door. And firemen come and put it out. At this point no one save for the family and the girl will have acknowledged the Poolboys. Should they try to exit the house they will have to roll p.def against a DC of 6 in the case the doorknob burns their hands or not. The door will not open, they are stuck inside the charred house. Upon exploration they will find notes of a diary-esque nature (Will Write these eventually). It will detail the stalking and grooming of a small child (Age 10-13) up and past the point where the stalker burned her house down killing her family. When reading these notes, the poolboys will be treated to visions of the past including the scenes of what happened and how it happened.

The child will later detail how she found the man again and repaid the favor murdering him while singing the song stabbing him over and over again. She later burned his house in retribution. The question to whether she suffered any other abuse is left unanswered and will remain so. After a Perception Check they will encounter the Stalker once again. This time he will engage the Poolboys who can perceive him.

If they go to the little girl's room and they encounter an older version of her. They can do 1 of 2 things. They can either try to talk to her or defeat her. She will be protecting a music box that plays a version of the song that the pool boys heard over and over throughout the run (Little Bird). She will grow angry at the thought of them destroying it unless they can convince her otherwise. The music box is the anchor and must be burned in order for the connection to be broken.

When they burn it they will hear the melody being played (Can redo the mp3)

Enemies-

Broken Toys (Various encounters)-Broken and burnt toys often featuring broken dolls, they wield knives and broken pieces of glass.

Stalker Illusionary Enemy (1x)- A shadowy man with multiple bleeding stab wounds. He will be stalking the Poolboys. Perception checks will be done throughout until the time comes to fight him. During that perception check people who notice him will be attacked and will be able to fight him as a threat while others will be unable to see him.

The Little Girl (Boss/1x)- The little girl now grown older (15-17) she can be persuaded to give the music box to the group however should persuasion be used by a male there is a -2 penalty against the player. If they fight her she will use flame based attacks capable of causing burns as well as scratching attacks.
