Veara's wedding

The Aetherplex Chamber.
The spherical chamber is formed from a hollow geode comprised of dozens of precious gemstones. Large jagged formations of rubies, sapphires, diamonds and emeralds line the walls and ceiling. The floor has been cut and polished to a brilliant shine, revealing concentric circles of brilliant colours. Upon close examination of the glassy floor, shimmering reflections briefly glide across its smooth surface of wondrous mansions and abodes. A current of electricity continuously runs throughout this mineral wonder, causing tiny sparks to erratically blossom up and down the crystalline formations. Hidden deep within the environment lies a mystic pathway. Shimmering with aetheric energy, a bright glowing portal floats here in midair. Hackles risen, a fierce timberwolf prowls about here. Sniffing at the air, a great brindle mastiff stands here with a cheerful demeanor. A giant bat hangs here, wings folded about its body and one beady eye open. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. You see a sign here instructing you to use the PORTAL command to enter the aetherplex system. There is an aetherways portal here.
You see exits leading north (open door), south, out, and through a bright, glowing portal.

Flakes of snow swirl from the ground up, coalescing into the form of Xiran, clutching a snowglobe.

Framing a beautiful, crystal-clear lake, a never-ending copse of tall trees provides a comfortable shelter. Fed by several small waterfalls around its edges, the lake reflects moonlit silhouettes of delicate does and powerful stags created by breaks in the canopy above. Glowing like fireflies in an endless, floating dance, small bumblebees are illuminated by some magic, shining in the shade of the forest. A natural formed stage is set by the lake, a stump of what must have been a truly gargantuan tree as the centerpiece, atop the stump is an archway of intertwining flowers with a notable set of fragrant wisterias hanging from the center. Soft emerald grass waves easily in the wind, with pairs of much smaller stumps aligned in rows to allow for a gathering to sit. Illuminating the covering in a dull golden light, a beehive hangs from the center of the canopy, suspended in a small steel cage. When directly gazed upon, the light takes shape of a magical floating script that reads: "locked away for bad beehavior." First-Zapped Hiresh, Slightly Off-Target stands here, her presence perfuming the air with the warm scent of mouth-watering confections. She wields a discreet crystal multitool in her left hand. Garbed in a shroud of shifting moonfire, a Ward of the Silver Trinity stands guard, eyes blackened with storm clouds. She is surrounded by a deflection bubble. You see a sign here instructing you to use the PORTAL command to enter the aetherplex system.
There are no obvious exits.

Veara hugs you compassionately.

Hiresh giggles happily.

Hiresh lets out a long, heavy sigh, and ceases to search the ground with her roving eyes.

With a bright flash, you find yourself blinded momentarily. As your vision recovers, you notice a piece of paper floating into Velcora's hands from the machine.

Reaching just over five feet tall she is she is a graceful elfen lady horned demigoddess with antlers and possesses a slender and wirey build, with well-defined muscles lurking beneath sun-bronzed skin. Her long, raven-black hair cascades down to her shoulders openly in long waves. A pair of majestic antlers part her wavy hair as they rise from her forehead, each one branching into numerous lethal points. Sharp almond-shaped eyes of the deepest purple peer past a stray braid or two as she watches her surroundings with intense focus. Her face is slender, graced with angular features and marked by a long scar which stretches from her left cheek down to her collarbone. Cold, clean moonlight limns her form with ethereal blessings from Lisaera, the Silver Goddess.

Standing over six feet in height she is an ordinary human sylvan demigoddess changeling and possesses an imposing, almost amazonian physique, with a full figure and clearly defined musculature lurking beneath sun-bronzed skin. Tangled locks of varied viridescent hues tumble down to her shoulders, framing a face of sharp features. Twin antlers sprout from her forehead, parting her verdant hair as they stretch skyward, small wood and bone charms dangling from each branching point. Despite her otherwise harsh appearance, she is quick to smile, and a friendly sparkle often shines within her verdant eyes.

The leprechaun settles by the water's edge, producing a violin. He sets his bow to the strings, and a tranquil hymn pours forth, notes glides between golden and sweet. As Oisian continues playing, Xiran floats back to the gargantuan stump.

Hiresh flits down onto a stump, letting her feet swing freely off the edge.

Velcora's body and features begin to melt like wax, then solidifies into a faeling.
With several beats of his wings, Velcora alights upon your shoulder.

Jolanthe suddenly loses focus in her eyes and shudders, then looks curiously refreshed.

Muginn shakes out his feathers, the plumes suddenly glowing with an ethereal haze. Ripples of mist pool at his talons, writhing with silent, screaming faces that leave hoar-frost in their wake.

You smile brightly at Velcora, your frills puffing with joy.

Jolanthe Myeras says, "... oh, I guess that includes my things."
Jolanthe ceases to wield a stag skull lyre in her left hand.
Jolanthe ceases to wield a floral parasol of pink and lavender silks in her right hand.

You murmur softly to yourself.

Coraline Myeras asks, "Does my spatula count as a weapon?"

With Veara's hand in her own, Llani slowly steps towards the floral archway, glancing back at all assembled.

Humming, A leprechaun says, "I don't mind a bit of accompaniment from an accomplished bard."

Veara walks towards the archway, following Llani, holding her hand tightly, her eyes blinking rapidly as they approach the archway.

Coraline begins to get up from her perch, before sitting back down and muttering to herself, "Oh, right, an -accomplished- one..."

Xiran's eyes twinkle enchantingly.

Jolanthe gives Coraline a peck on the cheek.

Forestwalker Llani Myeras says to Coraline, "Your music would be doubly welcome!"

Veara Lunarose thinks to herself: So beautiful. And they're all here. My... oh so beautiful.

Coraline beams broadly at Llani.

Veara nods lightly at Llani, "If our lovely leprechaun friend would agree, I am certain to have music played would be lovely." she says, smiling at Coraline, "however, as Llani's moms you're supposed to just enjoy the time, celebrating with us this joyous moment."

Coraline smiles at Veara , before turning to the leprechaun. "Sorry, buddy, you might have to look for another musician then!"
Oisian winks at Coraline. The leprechaun's fingers shift, the melody taking a breezy and bright quality that has Xiran swaying slightly to the beat. Eventually the notes fade as the couple comes to stand at the archway of wisterias.

A wry smile spreads across your face.

Lisuarte has frozen into fatal catatonia, victim to a monstrous ice devil.

Velcora smiles softly.

Veara turns her eyes looking towards Xiran, smiling at Xiran her, before gazing up to Llani again, squeezing her hand.

Xiran inclines her alder grey head. "Be welcomed all, to the wedding of dear ones Llani and Veara." She smiles at each of their mothers and their daughter in turn. "Your presence is a blessing for these two Shelterfolk, who have found each other and family, and this auspicious day to celebrate."

Xiran points a garden knife down between Llani and Veara, and a thin vine shoots up through the gargantuan stump, more tendril than plant as it stretches towards their joined hands. The faeling flits up, gently looping it about the couple's hands twice over.
Xiran dips her to Veara as she floats back a pace.

Llani smiles softly, giving Veara's hand another squeeze as their hands are loosely bound together.

Freja has been slain in the Midnight Coliseum by Dreadlord Thalkros n'Lochli.

Veara gazes down at her hand joined with Llani's before she turns fully to Llani, smiling up at her. "my love. Many words went through my heart when I was preparing my vows, but in the end, I am not a woman of many words, as you know."

"From now on through forever." Veara says, a wide smile on her lips as she gazes up to Llani. "That is how I will be with you, Llani. I'll go with you to the end and beyond. We'll walk through a world that has been renewed and reborn, free of the corruption that now plagues it.". She blinks her eyes, her eyes shimmering "I will stand always be your side, pick you up when you're down, laugh with you when you're happy. Fight with you through any hardship and walk every last inch of the road together with you." she pauses, drawing breath. "I'll always be there for you, through good and bad, past moonlight and the fiery gaze of the sun, forevermore, I'm yours." Her lips twist into a grin "And for those foolish enough to stand between us, beware." She inclined her antlered head lightly. "This I vow."

Xiran smiles softly.

Jolanthe hums a happy tune.

A single teardrop coalesces in the corner of Velcora's eyes.

Velcora's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

Hiresh smiles happily her wings fluttering excitedly at the words.

Inagin has been slain in the Pearl of the Amberle by Paladin Machlana La'Saet.

Llani smiles broadly, reaching out to take Veara's other hand in her own as she gazes down at the shorter elfen. "As sweet as ever, love. And I too will be there for you through thick and thin. When you falter, and when you stand strong, I will stay by your side. I will protect you, adore you, and love you with all that I am, till Kethuru eats us all!"

Jolanthe nods her head sagely.

"He better not, I plan on this being really forever." Veara answers, beaming up at Llani.

As Veara finishes speaking, chartreuse green buds spring open. Xiran blinks, then swiftly wends the loose end through the loops. Narrow and lobed leaves emerge like a yearling buck's antlers as she passes the end of the vine to Veara's unbound hand while the gathering cheers, the tendrils already seeking the elfen's bronzed skin as Veara_she were the warmth of summer.

Velcora wipes away happy tears, leaning against you as her smile continues to broaden.

Llani looks up into the air for divine inspiration.

Velcora narrows his eyes to thin slits.

Coraline gives Jolanthe a loving squeeze as she watches the proceedings.

You have emoted: Cheliyi's face seems suspiciously dry as she leans against Velcora, though all it takes is a simple glance to see that her eyes are glittering with frozen tears of joy.

Velcora's expression softens.

Xiran relaxes.

Argent moonlight pierces the blue glow of the Flame of dae'Seren upon Jolanthe, enshrouding her momentarily in a silver mantle.
More buds emerge at Llani's word. Xiran bends down, a garden knife slicing through the base of the vine. Yet it still grows. The faeling passes the sturdy stem through the living knot before pressing it to Llani's free hand. In the human's grasp, the white blossoms unfurl at last, each one a radiant full moon blooming from a purple eye.

Veara exhales slowly, allowing a long fluid breath to creep from her lungs.

Xiran hooks a finger and slightly lifts one loop of Llani and Veara's vine-circled hands. Her eyes sparkle with mirth and something of a challenge.

Velcora's melodic voice sings into your mind, "There was an accidental attack in Serenwilde, but just one of those saddles gone berserk."

Your frills twitch as you detect an errant sound.
You nod your head at Velcora.

Velcora Lunarose thinks to himself: This wedding is so perfect.

Veara slides her hand out of the loop and waiting for Llani to do the same, her other grasping firmly on the vine, her eyes never leaving Llani as she does so, smiling softly.

Velcora Lunarose thinks to himself: Their love is a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Your frills twitch as you detect an errant sound.
You smile softly at Velcora.

Llani follows in kind, slipping her hand out of the loop as she lets go of Veara's hand, giving the end of the vine a light tug.

Xiran releases her finger.

Veara tugs on her end of the vine as well, a gentle tug.

As Llani and Veara tug evenly on the living cord, leaf and flower glide through the space made by the couple's extracted hands. Between the two, the living knot takes shape as three gracefully entwined crescents, circling into and becoming each other. "May the knot you tie for these eternal cycles together follow the world's rebirth and renewal. Together may you find endless compassion and endless joy." Xiran says.

With a nod, Sterling Keeper Xiran Stormcrow, Winter Waldgeist says, "And Flapjack has let me know that I shouldn't have excluded our dear Velcora, for he blesses these two with his presence and his artistic vision to come. Hopefully the bumblebees will join the excursion and give us that perfect lighting!"

Coraline's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

The corners of Hiresh's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.

"With the power vested in me by the Sacred Mother Lisaera, I pronounce you Llani and Veara Myeras!" proclaims Xiran with joy. Below, the rest of the rooted vine has spread across the natural platform, the foliage nearest Llani and Veara having broadened into heart-shaped leaves for lush groundcover.

Jolanthe gives up a round of applause.

Hiresh cheers wildly!

Coraline snaps her fingers, releasing sparkling motes of coloured light.
