  1. Landorus-Bengal is an amazing Pokemon, whose versatility allows it to run many viable sets and fit on almost every team. Intimidate and Pack Leader are also great abilites that can be run on either defensive or offensive sets. It struggles against defensive Pokemon since it needs Set-Up to break through them. There are also other great Ground-types that give it competition. Sandslash-Lustrous has a really good offensive typing and is the best Hazard Removal while Zygarde-Goliath is a great tank that can 1v1 many Set-Up Sweepers including Landorus-Bengal.

  5. Defensive Stealth Rock
  6. Landorus-Bengal (M) @ Leftovers
  7. Ability: Intimidate
  8. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
  9. Jolly Nature
  10. - Earthquake
  11. - U-turn
  12. - Roost / Knock Off
  13. - Stealth Rock
  14.
  15. Landorus-Bengal is a great Stealth Rock setter thanks to its typing and Intimidate, which allows it to check a lot of Physical Attackers like Sandslash-Lustrous, Meloetta-Fighter, Dugtrio, Darmanitan and physical variants of Silvally-Fairy, Deoxys-Gem, Groudon-Primal and Giratina-Shadow. U-turn allows it to run away from undesireable Match-Ups against Rotom, Rotom-Fan, Zygarde-Goliath, Corsoul, Slowbro and other Landorus, including both formes, while also being a great tool to keep momentum. Roost gives it great longevity while potentially surviving Ice-type moves or resisting Rock, although loosing the Earthquake immunity can be exploited. If longevity isn't desired or if there are different checks to Physical Attackers, then Roost can be replaced by Knock Off which is great for removing Leftovers, Eviolites or offensive items from its checks.
  16.
  17. Raticate, Corsoul, Rotom and Rotom-Fan make great partners for it since they can switch into its checks, deal with them and potentially keep momentum. Raticate is the best Switch-In for Corsoul and Rotom thanks to its ability to break through them without getting crippled. Landorus-Bengal also helps Raticate with its U-turn and immunity to Ground. Corsoul checks many Special Attackers and covers Landorus-Bengal's Water and Ice weaknesses while being a great Back-Up Stealth Rock setter. Rotom and Rotom-Fan also provide Ground immunities thus taking some pressure away from Landours-Bengal.

  21. Offensive Calm Mind
  22. Landorus-Bengal (M) @ Leftovers
  23. Ability: Intimidate
  24. EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  25. Timid Nature
  26. IVs: 0 Atk
  27. - Earth Power
  28. - Hurricane
  29. - Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Dark] / Substitute
  30. - Calm Mind
  31.
  32. Landorus-Bengal's Intimidate and good defensive typing allows it to have many Set-Up oppoturnities. Forcing switches against Groudon-Primal and Slowking-Galar gives it more oppoturnities and stacking Calm Minds in the face of usual checks like Corsoul, Rotom and Rotom-Fan. Earth Power and Hurricane provide great coverage hitting many Pokemon for neutral damage, however it needs Hidden Power to break through its checks more easily. Setting up on Corsoul, Rotom and Rotom-Fan is nice but it needs Hidden Power Dark for the former two and Hidden Power Fire for the latter one. Hidden Power Ice is also up for consideration since Zygarde-Goliath hard walls this set otherwise. Substitute allows it to set-up more easily in the face of defensive Pokemon and avoid Will-O-Wisp and Toxics from Corsoul, Rotom and Rotom-Fan.
  33.
  34. Silvally-Fairy, Eternatus and Deoxys-Gem are great Parterns thanks to their ability to lure and beat Landorus-Bengal's checks and they also appreciate its defensive utility by checking Physical Attackers and providing a Ground immunity. VoltTurn support is also much appreciated, therefore partners like Genesect-Freezer, Landorus, Rotom-Heat and Thundurus-Therian do a great job and make for great synergies with Landorus-Bengal. Meloetta-Fighter, Aegislash, Deoxys-Speed and Darmanitan can lure and cripple Zygarde-Goliath, which Landorus-Bengal really appreciates.

  38. Offensive Swords Dance
  39. Landorus-Bengal (M) @ Soft Sand
  40. Ability: Pack Leader
  41. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  42. Jolly Nature
  43. - Earthquake
  44. - Smack Down / Stone Edge
  45. - Substitute / Roost
  46. - Swords Dance
  47.
  48. Landorus-Bengal's Pack Leader and Soft Sand boosted Earthquake are extremely devastating and Swords Dance piles on the hurt. It does have its usual checks of Corsoul, Zygarde-Goliath, Slowbro, Groudon, Rotom and Rotom-Fan but the latter two can be ruined by Smack Down. Smack Down allows it to threaten Flying-types and Levitators, however Stone Edge does greater damage all around and is a better hit on Grass-types. Smack Down is usually better since most Flying-types and Levitators have a typing that is weak to Ground otherwise and those Pokemon happen to be the best checks to Landorus-Bengal. Substitute helps it set-up against passive Pokemon that are unable to hurt Landorus-Bengal like Slowking-Galar, Aegishield, Weezing and Wormadam-Sandy. Roost provides better longevity and allows it to set-up more throughout the entire game.
  49.
  50. Silvally-Steel and Silvally-Dark are great Pokemon to remove Corsoul, Rotom and Rotom-Fan if Landorus-Bengal decides to run Stone Edge instead of Smack Down. Wish support from Cummulus and Darmanitan-Zen help it stay healthy throughout the game and remove the necessity for Roost and those two users provide Switch support with U-turn. Toxic Spikes support is also great for Landorus-Bengal since its grounded checks consisting of Corsoul, Slowbro, Groudon and Zygarde-Goliath get crippled easily. Therefore, Eternatus, Eiscue-Noice, Raticate and Slowking-Galar are great partners for it since they not only provide the Hazard but built great offensive and defensive cores with Landorus-Bengal.

  54. Offensive Pivot
  55. Landorus-Bengal (M) @ Choice Scarf / Assault Vest
  56. Ability: Pack Leader
  57. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  58. Jolly Nature
  59. - Earthquake
  60. - U-turn
  61. - Knock Off
  62. - Trick / Stone Edge / Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Fire]
  63.
  64. Its amazing speed tier allows Landorus-Bengal to get the jump on many Pokemon and it makes great use of Pack Leader. Choice Scarf gives it the jump on faster Pokemon and synergizes well with Pack Leader, while its typing gives it great opportunities to switch in. Trick cripples its common checks while Knock Off and U-turn are also great in that department with the former also denying other Scarfers to switch in. Assault Vest sets can run more coverage to limit swich in opportunities while buffing its great special bulk. Checking the likes of Deoxys-Gem, Landorus, Eternatus, Rotom-Heat, Thundurus-Therian, Groudon-Primal, Deoxys-Speed and other Landorus-Bengal with either set is really valuable for offensive teams.
  65.
  66. This set works well in VoltTurn cores alongside threatening Wallbreakers like Deoxys-Gem, both Darmanitans, Kyogre and Thundurus-Therian and other fast Pokemon like Pikachu-Starter, Meloetta-Fighter and Linoone-Punk. Hazard Support from the likes of Slowbro, Silvally-Fairy, Silvally-Water and Sandslash-Lustrous is much appreciated and they build great defensive cores with Assault Vest variants of Landorus-Bengal. Both Pivot sets appreciate Wish Support from Cummulus again which also checks Ground-types and provides Defog support.

  69.
  70. Other Options
  71.
  72. Defensive Stealth Rock: Specially Defensive spreads are great too since they allow Landorus-Bengal to check Special Attackers like Landorus and special variants of Silvallys and Deoxys-Gem. 32 Speed EVs allow it to outrun Zacian-Crowned with 252 EVs and a neutral nature. 144 EVs in Speed allow it outrun neutral base 85 Pokemon. Special moves can also be used since they remove Slowbro and Rotom-Fan from its usual checks. Getting more damage on Hidden Power is valuable too.
  73.
  74. Offensive Calm Mind: Air Slash makes for a great alternative to Hurricane which can also be used to flinch opposing Pokemon in a pinch.
  75.
  76. Offensive Swords Dance: Life Orb works best with Roost on this set, but the power boost to its Rock coverage and its Ground STAB is much appreciated. Aerial Ace and Knock Off can be used to great effect but they have more limited use compared to Smack Down or Stone Edge.
  77.
  78. Offensive Pivot: Heavy-Duty Boots and a more specially offensive approach also work for Offensive Pivots but the other items/moves provide better outcomes.
  79.
  80. =============
  81.
  82. Checks und Counter
  83.
  84. Flying-types and Levitators: Being immune to Earthquake or Earth Power is really crippling to Landorus and those kind of Pokemon being on every team means that Landorus-Bengal's effectiveness is limited in every game. Rotom-Fan and Rotom are the most notable here since they don't care for its coverage all that much and can cripple it with Will-O-Wisp or Toxic. Both Thundurus formes and Castform-Thunderstorm resist its STABs and can take advantage of it by setting up, healing or damaging it.
  85.
  86. Bulky Water-types: Corsoul, Slowbro and Silvally-Water are all able to check it with the combination of their abilities, typing and stats. Corsoul can either use Will-O-Wisp, Strength Sap or spam Scald against Landorus-Bengal and isn't as crippled by Knock Off as other Pokemon. Slowbro walls physical sets for days and while special sets can ruin it, Slowbro is still able to scout against it and pivot out with Teleport. Silvally-Water doesn't wall Landorus-Bengal as easily as the other two but it is more dangerous due to its all around good stats and offensive capabilities.
  87.
  88. Ice-types and Ice coverage: There are many Ice-types that can threaten Landorus-Bengal out. Castform-Snowy and Kyogre-Primal are slow but bulky Ice-types that can easily 1v1 Landorus-Bengal. Silvally-Ice, Genesect-Freezer, Eiscue-Noice and both Darmanitan-Galar formes are faster and can threaten it out and abuse that switch with Swichtes, Knock Off or other moves. This isn't all, all the Pokemon that Landorus-Bengal is suppose to check can lure and KO it with HP Ice or an Ice move. Deoxys-Gem has Ice Beam, which also hits Sandslash-Lustrous, Groudon-Primal and both Landorus formes can utilise Hidden Power Ice, which helps them threaten Zygarde-Goliath too.
