  1. 0th Day Explanation:
  2.
  3. ==tl;dr==
  4. - It requires saving at the hidden owl statue (so it's English only)
  5. - It takes you to 5:59am on the 0th day
  6. - It lets you use items in any form that you're not normally supposed to be able to use.
  7. - It lets you dupe bottles from one form's B button to another.
  8. - In low% it lets you skip bow, quiver, fire arrows.
  9.
  10. ==Intro==
  11. Normally when you store Song of Time and use it, your item count resets and the game saves, but not much else. You don't get sent back to clock town and the game time doesn't get set to 6am on the first day.
  12.
  13. This "Mayor's Warp" or "0th day" glitch provides an extension to song of time storage which lets you use it to revert the time back to the start of the first day (technically, it takes you to 5:59am at the very end of the 0th day). The glitch also has other effects which are useful in various ways.
  14.
  15. ==How to activate the glitch==
  16. 1. The easiest way to activate the glitch is to hover to the Hidden Owl Statue in west clock town and save at it. Then, reload the file and you should have the "mayor's warp" glitch active.
  17.
  18. 2. Alternatively, find a place to save at an owl statue and void out at the same time. This isn't very easy to do but there are a couple of examples:
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwEJ-EIKab0
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLOvBK0aGTo
  21. Note that this is not frame perfect, you can void out at any point after selecting 'yes'.
  22.
  23. ==Deactivating the glitch==
  24. You can deactivate mayor's warp by playing song of soaring or by saving at an owl statue and reloading that save. Nothing else will deactivate the glitch.
  25.
  26. ==Mayor's Warp Effects==
  27. "Mayor's Warp" doesn't visibly change anything in the game at first but it has some interesting effects in relation to song of time:
  28.
  29. ~~Game File~~
  30. - If you have certain item counts while playing song of time, your file will be deleted
  31.
  32. - If you have 0 items/rupees, your file won't be deleted when saving the game with song of time and your file will start at 6am in either the mayor's office (if you did method 1. to activate the glitch) or the owl that you saved at while voiding (if you did method 2.).
  33.
  34. ~~In-game~~
  35. - If you use a stored song of time, after a couple of seconds you will be taken to 5:59am at the very end of day 0. If you still have the SoT text box up, time won't be able to advance and so you'll be frozen at 5:59am until you get rid of this text box.
  36.
  37. - In this period of time in-between selecting 'yes' to go back in time and the time turning to 5:59am, a lot of things you do will be 'forgotten' by the game. This is called the 'state restoring effect'.
  38.
  39. ==State-Restoring effect==
  40. - When you bring the song of time text up and select 'yes' to going back in time, the game saves.
  41. - Around 2 or 3 seconds later, the game 'loads' this saved data and sets the time to 5:59am
  42. - This means that if you select 'Yes' to song of time, pick up deku nuts for the first time (for example), and then those 2 seconds pass and the game 'loads' the saved data, you won't have the deku nuts.
  43. - It also means that if you select 'Yes' to song of time, switch your C-buttons around and then those 2 seconds pass, the game will load the C-button setup that you had when you selected 'Yes'.
  44. - Another bizzare effect is that if you select 'Yes', switch forms to deku and then those 2 seconds pass, the game will 'load' from when you were still human and so it will think you're human (but you'll actually be deku). You'll have sword on B and (for some reason) you'll be able to equip and use any item at all (this means using bombs, shooting arrows, etc. as deku). This actually works with any form of link.
