  1. [18:03] {NARRATION} The sound of marching can be heard in the distance, the combined forces of Myllenoris and Nysea standing guard at Starfall tower. Coming into view, however, would send a chill down the spine of even the bravest soldier. Demons coming in droves, in addition to their allies. An assault directed entirely at seizing the tower itself, as well as the surrounding territory.
  2.
  3. The advancing army suddenly coming to a stop, all eyes and ears upon the leaders of both sides. Mere moments before the clash, an opportunity for the leaders to give their speech.
  4.
  5. (Leaders RP, rules will be posted after dots.)
  6. [18:10] With the sounds of marching filling the air. The sight of demon-kinds enemies were now placed before them. With crimson hues left to illuminate, night time had shed itself across the field. The demon? Felt in their element.
  7.
  8. Shouting off orders to the legion of shadows behind the rest of the army. Leading them? A Nethradin.
  9.
  10. "Come units, prepare yourselves for war. Let it be... Here. On this day. We reveal to humanity our true strength. No longer will we be bound by the woods... A threat known to linger in the night. Rather, our presence shall only. Grow. From here on out. Remember this, as you stare down your foes. For surely? They will seek nothing, but the end of us all."
  11.
  12. Thought typically one to speak much more, their mind was elsewhere. Pondering over the many that stood before her now. Some familiar, some... Not. Though it wondered to whom would be the first it battles against.
  13.
  14. Taking the opportunity for now, to flourish fully. Allowing their magics to blossom, but unlike a field of flowers.
  15.
  16. Only rot & decay followed the wicked laughter escaping past the teraphim visage it'd taken upon ascension. All the while, the animus coming to being. Levitating around the woman, opening to release hel'heims grace to the unwilling.
  17. (Irkalla)
  18. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. [18:10] Can you feel it yet, Fidi?
  21. Perhaps, this is the test that you were looking for.
  22.
  23. Before them stands no longer the Serpentine Ascended that could only tap within the shadows; accompanied by the mystical forces of Helheim, the Serpent's Eye that follows him at all times and watches their master, he strides through the air with utmost confidence.
  24.
  25. Despite knowing about the betrayal.
  26. About overwhelming enemy ranks.
  27.
  28. His gaze holds no fear. Hasn't he long given up the concept of fear, in favour of knowing that one day he will die? All that matters is one thing here - to accomplish what he desired, to push the humanity towards their own evolution, kicking and screaming if he has to. But unfortunately..
  29.
  30. There are those that will stand in his way.
  31.
  32. "Truly an impressive force."
  33.
  34. "Humanity values their stasis well enough to protect it with everything they have- their livelihood, their loved ones, all that they cherish."
  35.
  36. "A pity. They would rather surrender it all instead of walking to their future."
  37.
  38. But this..
  39.
  40. This has never stopped Morok before. While the shadows expand out of him, much like the hands that would act in Morok's place entirely, without any effort on his own part, there is something more..
  41.
  42. Something that they inscribe upon the air.
  43.
  44. The gates of Helheim open.
  45. From beyond, the Wraiths find their way to this realm.
  46. Hungering, wild, rampant.
  47.
  48. Yet, they stay put; they know that their Serpentine Master can very well banish them back to the world where they came from- for he is the World Serpent now, and one thing is evidently clear.
  49.
  50. Even the world will bend to his will.
  51. All in pursuit of greater evolution for humanity.
  52.
  53. "Your opportunity stands right before you."
  54.
  55. "Walk forth, and bring back the aspects of humanity I look for. Bravery, ferocity, their inner strength... all among the qualities I seek for."
  56.
  57. "Reaping and harvesting will commence."
  58.
  59. "Now."
  60. (Morok)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.
  63. [18:12] Tyranny no longer leads a grand army of combined beasts and demons, but a force of loyal followers and lesser kindred. They field the very bare minimum that a force can bring, and here they stand.
  64.
  65. He is unyielding, his gaze determined and his heart set on a singular goal. He would make sure his people survive this, no matter what.
  66.
  67. When their armies meet on the battlefield, he looks towards the gathered might of Nysea and Myllenoris. Their armies, their gathered forces- They would throw all they had to keep this tower.
  68.
  69. Tyranny would use everything in his power to secure a victory and a future for his race, and for his followers.
  70.
  71. "Steel your hearts."
  72.
  73. His voice resounds to those who followed with him, as his hand extends out. From a smog of darkness is his soul brandished for all to see, the Black Sword Ash Durub Libero. It whispers death and decay to his enemies.
  74.
  75. To his allies, it is hope.
  76.
  77. One Ruler, Free.
  78.
  79. "Do not give into fear, burn it for this battle and fight! Push beyond your limits, my Kindred! Claim victory from this sorrowful state and secure our future!"
  80.
  81. Darkness rises around him, and fire is set alight in his eyes and heart.
  82.
  83. "FLY INTO BATTLE, AND RETURN WITH VICTORY! FOR THE ABYSSAL COVENANT!"
  84. (Tyranny)
  85. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  86.
  87. [18:13] It was good, this march on them must've been foolish to keep heading towards. Looking over Starfall and at the demons numbers, it was easy to tell they had the advantage this time. Theria had pulled out, as he was sure they never even wished to ally with those demons. And Osrona? That whole ordeal would still be a mystery for now.
  88.
  89. But he turns to the people gathered, lowering his head for a moment. "Today will mark how our future might look. For it to be bright and full of hope, or to be shot down... But even if we fall here today, it doesn't mean it is over. No, it isn't over until each one of us has fallen. And until then, as long as my legs are attached to my body. I will move forward, and I will strike them back from our home."
  90.
  91. "And balance, will be restored."
  92. "While Nysea will have their home back."
  93. "I swear it..."
  94.
  95. Shifting back around to face towards the incoming demons, how did they feel about their movement now? A hand moves down to grab the hilt of his sword, drawing it and lifting it towards them.
  96.
  97. "NOW!" The blessing of aschea comes down to grace his body, as winds formed of hands wrap around his collar. "CHARGE!" There was no more hesitation, as the High Lord himself moves forward to fight the battle on the front lines. As securing Starfall is important to their defense, and travel routes.
  98. (Alexios)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [18:13] It had not been her intent to march this day, but where morale dwindled and waned, so too was there a demand of her presence.
  102.
  103. A Queen without a Crown was still a symbol, and in time do warring forces meet upon the island of Starfall, a battleground twined between the forces of East and West; Light and Dark; Good and Evil.
  104.
  105. "Soliers," she hollers, a rallying cry that commands a thick, pertinent veil of arcane about her, intertwined with temporal and ethereal forces that weight heavily upon the battlefield. It spills forth like an overflowing receptacle, pouring forth from the very depths of her soul.
  106.
  107. "You have trained for this. Bled for this. Suffered for this. You have been torn from your homes for this. You have sacrificed for this. Let not the opposition strike fear into your heart. Let their presence bolster you with resolve. Let the consequence of a failure here today temper your blade.
  108.
  109. Let your faith in the heavens and stars, the spirits or the sun, drive you forth toward victory, not as Nysea or Myllenoris, but an Esshar unified.
  110.
  111. Steel your heart and soul. Do not let them pass."
  112.
  113. That rallying cry exudes a sharp exhale from betwixt her lips, and so too is Dimension Splitter drawn and proffered, twin palms clasped about the ornate hilt.
  114.
  115. A war drum beats. A warn horn trumpets. Unified forces hurtle forth at the behest of twin leaders.
  116. (Aeliana rei Petrakis)
  117. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  118.
  119. [18:21] The tides taking its course as the forces meet against one another. Violet comes to a stop with the others around the lesser demons and ascended in front. She lingers from behind as she glances toward the state of Myllenoris as a whole. Today was the day they had to make a change. Now or never it was truly. With the words from the leaders that spoke.
  120.
  121. She agrees.
  122.
  123. 'Do not give fear.'
  124.
  125. She knew it and she never feared anything. She sought someone who she could fight truly at one hundred percent. So many vast fighters that settles on the other side. She had a strong felling that this was either going to go well or wrong completely.
  126.
  127. The bloody mist taints around her frame. Spreading..It was time to make change. Violet had no words. A glare of death given to all those out there in the field. Many familiar faces.
  128.
  129. Truly how would this go?
  130.
  131. It was time to move forward.
  132. (Víolet Lovain)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [18:21] The gathered chaos of Esshar would move, towards their next destination. Wraiths and the powers of Helheim soared through the plains as the Abyssal Covenant moved. Their soldiers refined and tuned to perfection.
  136.
  137. They will not lose.
  138.
  139. Darkness had no weaknesses.
  140.
  141. The black-skinned creature crawled forward, their hands waving idly at their side. Yet then they saw them - the defenders of the realm.
  142.
  143. Those who saw themselves righteous.
  144.
  145. "It is ironic, if anything, to see Nysea stand by Myllenoris."
  146.
  147. A single pointed hand rose to point towards the crowd. "It is the Teraphim, who slaughtered your people. It is Myllenoris that cause you to lose everything."
  148.
  149. The chilled words danced telepathically through the battlefield.
  150.
  151. "Today we show you what freedom truly is... What it means to be free of world attachments and humanity."
  152.
  153. "It is time, humans." Their hands clapped together.
  154.
  155. "For the inferiors, to become slaves."
  156.
  157. (Marzanna)
  158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159.
  160. [18:21] She remains silent within her own disposition. Her hands are folded carefully behind her back - the gentle hum that spills forth seems to be that of a mild curiosity rather than anything else. But she feels it within her body. The steady beat of colliding war drums makes her want to move - her arms steadily rise into the hair, her being twirls amongst the presence of snow and wanderlust and yet...
  161.
  162. Even she understands that amidst this chaos, the potential of losing everything that she has ever worked for shines through. From the thought of being contained for her own power to the thought of losing her life. She knows what this meant when she signed her name. She knew what was to come when things fell this way. But she never shied away from it.
  163.
  164. It must happen. It must come true.
  165.
  166. 'You make break and break again, but do not bow, and do not bend.' Words echoing within her mind. The steady hiss of ice magic flourishing forth as she pulls the string between index and thumb.
  167.
  168. She awaits her first opponent.
  169. (Carlisle ras Petrakis)
  170. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  171.
  172. [18:22] The day has some. They have celebrated before hand to release the stress that they may have acquired. Now for this, this was their chance to remove the demons out of their sight for a while. Starfall would be theirs if they won this battles. Yoshiko definitely wished for this and if they had? She could complete her goals.
  173.
  174. "Their darkness cannot shroud the bonds that we have all shared together here on Esshar. They cannot correlate with what we have in anyway. There is no use being afraid since we have nothing to fear.."
  175.
  176. And Yoshiko did not fear anyone single one of them. She has Jiuweihu's light by her side and nothing more could make her feel more at such a calm state.
  177.
  178. But Yoshiko needed to focus now. She has already shown their side how powerful an Illuminated can be. Now it was just time to show them again from here.
  179.
  180.
  181. "Just remember...
  182.
  183. ...Every life is precious... Every moment matters... And every battle can be won... Just follow your hearts." Her voice spoke softly to her people and hopefully unlike Anastasia, she could be heard.
  184. (Yoshiko Taiyang)
  185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  186.
  187. [18:23] Darkness would spread throughout the lands.
  188.
  189. A corruptive force walked through the lands of Esshar, not as scattered mess but instead as a collective group. The first time demonkind and it's closest allies could walk as one, without another party muddling their efforts.
  190.
  191. Theria hid away from combat and now they were forced to face the combined might of Myllenoris and Nysea by themselves.
  192.
  193. However, each and every one of these individuals had done so in the past. Jaeger himself had persevered through the constant attacks of humankind, a war wouldn't be much different. All of it was simply concentrated into a couple hours of mindless combat.
  194.
  195. Who would prevail?
  196.
  197. Jaeger's eyes scanned the battlefield, flaming pupils looking over his opponents. Unlike last time he stood on the frontlines, faced with the most powerful magi Esshar had to offer.
  198.
  199. Lesser Demons roamed alongside them and non-magi had taken up arms among the mages that started this war.
  200.
  201. The battle of Starfall would be a great one.
  202.
  203. Jaeger would bathe in the chaos. He'd make these humans feel fear, his dominance would be established across the lands.
  204.
  205. "Onward.
  206.
  207. Enough with the chatter, none of you would listen to our kind anyway.
  208.
  209. Why start now?"
  210. (Jaeger)
  211. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  212.
  213. [18:23] He declared Holy War and a holy war the Exiled Priest would get. Leading the faithful that had followed him from Theria's mountaintops, they would stand small but proud amongst Myllenoris' and Nysea's combined forces.
  214.
  215. Theria itself might not have had anyone else to represent it, however, Revan knew exactly what was at stake. If the demons obtained the Vale then all of Esshar would be overrun with Demons.
  216.
  217. "Warriors! Look within yourselves and ask you why you fight, what is it that kindles your spirit? What ever it may be does not matter, but it is at stake. On this day we stand to oppose the forces of the heretical children that follow the Dark Lord, who seek to give him a leg on our continent."
  218.
  219. His spirit would ignite, though he didn't wear the Helm of the First Flame, his aura shined brighter than it had before as he fed his resolve with a just cause.
  220.
  221. "To that, we say FUCK BACKOFF TO THE CREVICE FROM WHENCE YOU CRAWLED. FIREBLOODED, FIGHT WITHOUT FEAR OF INJURY OR DEATH, FOR NOTHING IS WORSE THAN SHAME."
  222.
  223. Chanting with his fellow crusaders, they would charge into the fray.
  224. (Revan orn Apotychia)
  225. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  226.
  227. [18:26] Barely any familiar faces- or animal heads on the other side could be spotted from the Drakanite. None that she cared for anyways. Finally, a battle without any internal conflict. And amidst a field of war, amidst grass that would soon be painted in red and black, the Occultist had a clear mind. A mind that did not care who she stood with, only who she stood against. Be it with the Nyseans who loathe her, or people that opposed her as minor annoyances in the past.
  228.
  229. Yet, there were a few exceptions. Namely her son in law.
  230.
  231. "Revan, make sure you get home to my daughter after this. I'll be watching over you, but I'll probably get busy myself for a while."
  232.
  233. A short glance was spared for Rella. One that she was supposed to protect as well.. Perhaps this battle will be more complicated than she had thought. Next, the Drakanite would let her gaze wander to her back, listening to the Pope's battlechants with a slight smile.
  234.
  235. "Don't get yourself hurt, my son."
  236.
  237. And after those last words, Orca unsheathed her sword, 'charging' into battle in a walking pace, the Occult energy surrounding her finally becoming reality as her facial expression changed. It was blank. It was her war face.
  238. (Orca Hellaxis)
  239. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  240.
  241. [18:26] {NARRATION} You all have three minutes to spread out amongst the map, after that it will be a free for all. You may pursue/flee to attack an opponent, but after losing you are eliminated and must go to the bridge.
  242.
  243. Dangerous, Cap 2 is recommended for your first battle, Cap 1 for the following ones after.
  244. [18:28] Revan orn Apotychia asks, "Shall we hunt together?"
  245. [18:28] Orca Hellaxis says, "We should."
  246. [18:28] Orca Hellaxis says, "An unconventional son and mother bonding."
  247. [18:30] Revan orn Apotychia asks, "Mmh.. Shall we watch over Amalia?"
  248. [18:30] Orca Hellaxis says, "Rella-"
  249. [18:30] Orca Hellaxis says, "I'd prefer watching over her."
  250. [18:30] Revan orn Apotychia says, "..."
  251. [18:30] Revan orn Apotychia asks, "Who's side are you on?"
  252. [18:30] Rella Caller says, "Against the demons."
  253. [18:31] Revan orn Apotychia says, "Ah good."
  254. [18:31] Rella fluffs her super feathery black wings.
  255. (Rella Caller)
  256. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  257.
  258. [18:31] Orca Hellaxis says, "Rella, follow us. I'd like to keep you safe."
  259. [18:32] Orca Hellaxis says, "I'd like to find this Morok. I just don't know how he looks."
  260. [18:35] {Item} You picked up Poppylus..
  261. [18:36] Orca Hellaxis asks, "Where did she go?"
  262. [18:36] {Item} You picked up Poppylus..
  263. [18:36] Revan orn Apotychia says, "This is war."
  264. [18:36] Revan orn Apotychia says, "Such happens"
  265. [18:36] Revan orn Apotychia says, "Keep your eyes out."
  266. [18:36] {Item} You picked up Poppylus..
  267. [18:37] Orca Hellaxis says, "I probably forgot to mention that I participated in every single war for the last twenty years."
  268. [18:37] {Item} You picked up Poppylus..
  269. [18:38] Orca Hellaxis says, "-Rella."
  270. [18:38] Revan orn Apotychia says, "See, found her."
  271. [18:38] Rella Caller says, "Orca."
  272. [18:38] Orca Hellaxis says, "Don't make me lose you."
  273. [18:38] Revan orn Apotychia exclaims, "Ah yes, finally, someone to fight!"
  274. [18:43] The darkness shrouds over her entire form quickly and the dark bloody mist forms over her frame crossing over the grassy lands at a rapid pace. She doesn't seem to care who this man was but staring deeply into his eyes.. he was someone she has seen quite a few times within...?
  275.
  276. Theria?
  277.
  278. "A familiar face and you are the one who lead that revolt inside Theria but failed.. truly a shame wasn't it..?"
  279.
  280. She cackles a few times as the tainted bloody occultic mist spreads fast across the grounds rotting the grass and taking the life itself as her own essense of energy to keep going.
  281.
  282. To use as power
  283.
  284. A wicked grin forms and she glares at the one of the family members of the Task.
  285.
  286. "Enlighten wont you?"
  287.
  288. Another step forward as the woman's gaze presses forward into his wanting to see what he fought for. Wanting to see him suffer in the midst of battle.
  289.
  290. "Death awaits you all.."
  291.
  292. Even herself. Its what she assumed.
  293.
  294. There was no going back now.
  295. (Víolet Lovain)
  296. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  297.
  298. [18:46] Trudging through the forests that surrounded the tower, demons and terraphim would clash about. Revan would pick off the lesser foot demons here and there, but it was when he felt the tingle of a stronger presence nearby that his senses would heighten. Breaking from formation he would find himself opposite to a Lovain.
  299.
  300. A familiar face, but one never spoken to, though she always did have a witchly presence. Cracking his knuckles, he would let his azure fire stand against her shrouds of darkness and blood.
  301.
  302. Already he would begin pulling from the natural life around him, just the excess energy it could spare to kindle his own flame so that he could stand against anything she might throw at him.
  303.
  304. "Oh it'll be a pleasure to, I promise."
  305.
  306. He dips into his stance, closing his eyes as he let his other senses guide him, the raw mana of life would steer his movements so that he might find victory over his wicked opponent.
  307.
  308. "Death awaits us all, and at the end? Vanaheim calls- but that is long after I vanquish you all."
  309. (Revan orn Apotychia)
  310. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  311.
  312. [18:50] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Víolet Lovain}
  313. [18:50] ** Víolet Lovain has inflicted an injury upon Revan orn Apotychia. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
  314. [18:57] Quickly the woman would sigh.. this one?
  315.
  316. He wasn't much as she dipped weaved in and out of the shadows that followed to her. She was much to good at dodging as shadows was her safe place to everything in the world.
  317.
  318. There was no pain.
  319.
  320. And yet when she pulls forward as Raven settled from the distance Violet moves in quickly lashing out with her claw that swipes against him. Beams of blood emerge from the depths of her gun shooting from the barrel.
  321.
  322. There was no escape.
  323.
  324. He was being whittled down slowly over time as the snakes lash out from the scars of Violet's arms. Wounds crackling and breaking using her own blood to snap into the skin of Raven's forearm. Sapping the life out of it and tainting with the occultic power she bared.
  325.
  326. A trade.
  327.
  328. To taste ones mana...
  329.
  330. It was all hers.. the feeling of regrowth.. the feeling of energy being pulled into Violet's own.. it was a bliss truly. As she laughs wickedly as the bloody occultic black snakes teeth deepen into the skin slamming down to suck whatever was left out of the right arm of Raven Task.
  331.
  332. "Mine.. its all mine.."
  333.
  334. The arm was nothing but grey.
  335.
  336. Lifeless and limb dangling before his eyes. And suddenly a claw beckons to slap him away.. looking onward to the next challenger that was to come.
  337.
  338. "A lucky day for you it is... Maybe next time.."
  339. (Víolet Lovain)
  340. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  341.
  342. [19:07] The forest was his terrain, it gave him life and fed his desire to fight those who lurked in the dark, yet the shadows were her domain and she commanded them quite ell. Where he would see only faint images of her form as she stepped between this own and the shadow realm, he would do his best to land a blow.
  343.
  344. However she was too fast, the brawler was ill equipped for the dark talons that would rip and rend into his armor. He had plenty of the forest to kindle his flame, but he had no way of combatting her as she danced around him.
  345.
  346. Pelting with bloody haze and beam, Revan would find himself slowly staggering, eventually succumbing to her assault. He had put everything he had out there, but it was poorly utilized against his opponent that tore him apart.
  347.
  348. Despite the hazards he faced, he would still fight as valiantly as he could, but it was as he went to throw a right hook that he realized he couldn't move his arm anymore.
  349.
  350. Gritting his teeth, his manacould flicker and wane as it tried to compensate for the morsel that was taken from him. He would have to fall back, conceding to the witch's might this day.
  351.
  352. Maybe next time.

  355.
  356. [19:15] Orca was left wandering the battlefield, scouting for any Demons that needed culling. Morok in particular. 362. "Do you know how it feels, Víolet? To see your son lose his arm in front of you..?"
  363.
  364. Finally reaching an appropriate distance, her blade was now pointing forward.
  365.
  366. "I shall give you a comparison. Kneel. I want to take them clean off."
  367.
  368. "Your fingers, hands and arms."
  369. (Orca Hellaxis)
