also I'm super curious what kind of youkai she's gonna be

Maya:
The B-Driller Of Legend turns its eyes and lances toward Wendy Oldbag, wings and lances twittering in tandem

Yama Uba:
"Eh, what? What did you just call me? A yo-whozits?"

Maya:
in the chat she looks like she has gigantic teeth

Yama Uba:
"Uh, well....you ARE enjoying yourselves, aren't you?"

Flora:
Flora's still blowing bubbles after coming back up for some air. "The spring is very enjoyable... and relaxing."

Reika:
"...is no one here concerned but me about all this..?" she sighs, sticking close to Oldboy.

Miyako:
I rolled Intuition and apparently she's aokay

Cahya:
"I must admonish you! The bones of the incompetent fallen should be proudly displayed so that others can learn from their mistakes, not hidden away!"

Miyako:

Yuumi:
Yuumi paddles up to the water's edge. "Oh don't worry, Reika, you aren't the only one who's suspicious. Heck, are you really one to talk? You stripped down and everything!"

Reika:
"T-...that was before the corpses!" she stammers, her face bright red.

Yuumi:
"But no. Really." Yuumi drops into a serious tone. "What's going on here, old lady? What are you?"

Flora:
Flora floats on by to accompany Yuumi, and watches on the escalating situation.

Seems Snorunt is gonna stick along for a little while longer.

"I'm... not sure what's going on... Did I miss something?"

Yuumi:
"Come oonnnn, a decrepit old lady out in the middle of nowhere, offers a hot meal, encourages travelers to let down their guards in the most OBVIOUS way possible - you even have us boiling in a pot full of previous victims! This is a -classic- setup!"

Yama Uba:
"So...you're saying you DON'T like it or something?"

Yuumi:
"I'm saying I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall."

Reika:
"To be honest, I think I let my guard down over just -how- cliche it seems..." she sighs, admitting her own fault in the situation.

Yuumi:
"Though I guess there IS still the possibility of the old bait and switch... hey monkey, you're not the big bad here, are you?"

Aipom:
"Ukiiii....?"

Cahya:
"Ahya.." Cahya paddles over to the other side of the water, near the forested area she knelt down at previously, "I do believe you overthink things. Surely, there is nothing to worry over."

Yama Uba:
"So uh..are you going to enjoy the hot spring or not? Because I'm still a little busy, you see, tee hee..."

Yuumi:
"Well now it's just awkward."

Yuumi:
"Here, one sec." Yuumi dives back down under the water to grab a loose bone.

Yuumi:
that is not a euphemism, but could well be.

Reika:
"No. I'm not going to enjoy a hot springs filled with the dead."

Miyako:
"Well then, I suppose you can stick around for a while, little one. I'm...honestly a tad jealous of you..." She looks at the Snorunt family in the distance...realizing she could never have that. She then crouches down and lowers her arms for the Snorunt to walk in and she can pick the little thing up.

Snorunt:
"Warashi..."

Yuumi:
After grabbing the bone, unless anything else prevents doing such, Yuumi swims back up, and flings it at the old lady's feet.

Flora:
Flora slips toward the back end of the spring as well, "Well at least I think they look nice..."

Miyako:
Miyako then picks up the little guy and carries him. "Well then...I should think of a name for you, shouldn't I? Heh, I think our adventures shall be exciting...!"

Miyako:
and I think we should call it here

Miyako:
it's 3AM lawl

Yuumi:

Yama Uba:
"So uh...I take it you don't like it then..?"

Flora:

Cahya hangs her arm over the side of the spring, the grass around her shimmering nondescriptly, "Oh, I wouldn't say that. The dead are good teachers."

Yuumi:
"Look at that. Tell me what it is. Tell me why it's here."

Cahya:
"What you have here is a veritable university."

Reika:
Reika finishes putting her clothes back on and shakes her head (beause I'm not riding my Arcanine n00d), "Just show us what you really are already.."
Reika: (( AND THEN IT'S THE DOUBLE WHAMMY WHERE SHE REALLY IS JUST A WEIRD OLD LADY AND NOT A YOUKAI AND WE FEEL LIKE DICKS. ))

Yuumi:
I'm accounting for that possibility (waiting)

Flora:
Flora turns to Cahya, "I wonder if spirits can enjoy the pleasantries of hot springs. I don't think I would... mind if I could." She takes up a comfortable leaning position against some nicely aligned slates.

Yama Uba:
"Ooooooh, THOSE. Well why didn't you tell me? Those bones are the remains of those who couldn't quite survive the last plague going back a few generations ago...mixed in with some other folks who couldn't quite survive the new weather. I put them in here to uh...honor their memory. And their spirits provide great luck too!"

Aipom:
"Ukiki!"

Yuumi:

Yama Uba:
The old crone seems a little nervous. "Surely, this is your first time hearing of this time honored tradition?"

Yuumi:

"I cannot say! I have never been a spirit. Ooh, I wonder what it be like to try! Hm, but isn't that a sort of Youkai...?"

Cahya:
"Maybe it would not be so bad."

"Ohhh, I get it. Yeah, alright. We're really enjoying the springs. Now, how about that food?"

Reika:
Reika mounts up onto her Arcanine, "This is the most serious I've ever seen you, Yuu-..." she nearly falls off Oldboy at Yuumi's last words.

Yuumi:

Yama Uba:
The hag breathes a high of relief. "You want to eat AFTER you've taken a dip? Well that's just plain unconventional!"
