It's like a recap episode

I rummage through dusty boxes in my attic, looking for something. I don't even feel like being bothered by what I just said.
I cut open boxes and look through them.
Framed photo of me, my late wife, and Lou playing with fireworks when we were young? No.
DVDA shirt in extra large? No.
My bomb making kit? No.
An old drawing Clara made when she was 8 involving her and Slash from Guns and Roses hugging with hearts in the background? Not what I was looking for, but amusing. I fold it up and put it in my pocket.
A 20 year old bottle of Dr Pepper? No.
A box of old clothes? No.
A tied up skeleton of a demon girl or something? No.
I cut open one more box, and come across an old photo album covered in dust. Ah! Here it was! It was next to the handcuffs and other toys me and my wife used when she was alive. God I miss her....
I close up the box and leave the attic with a spring in my step. Once I enter the living room I slam the book down and go through it. Ah, the memories.
I run across a picture of when I was still a kid and playing in the sandbox with my future wife. That sandbox was magical. It was also full drunken hobos after midnight.
Another picture shows the two of us hugging while we were in 5th grade. Her incandescent smile completely draws attention away from my messy hair and dead fish eyes.
The next one shows Me, her, and Lou in highschool. Man, highschool was pretty awkward for me. There was prom, exams, essays, making gays jokes, cafeteria pizza, gay jokes, and making fun of Lou's mullet. There was also dealing with Lou's bullies, but it's not hard to deal with Werecat bullies when you're willing to plant illegal substances in their lockers.
I turn the page and see a picture of me and my late wife holding an egg and smiling together. Clara was actually concieved and hatched while the two of us were in highschool. I thought her dad was going to kill me and mount my head on a pike but he was pretty cool about the whole thing. Her mother broke two of my fingers but she calmed down and became nice towards me after a month...
The next picture shows a very young Clara wrapped around my neck and holding onto my head. She was a handfull at first, but she became a sweetheart after a while. Though she freaked out severely over telling her the reason her hair is red is because I carry the ginger gene... I would REALLY like to know why she became a shut-in, but I'll probably never get that answer.
I turn the page once more, and feel my heart sink upon seeing the next picture. It's me and my wife on our wedding day. God, she was beautiful on that day... A few tears roll down my face but I wipe them away quickly. I've got to appear strong to others... If they ask I'll just say it's raining or something got in my eye...
My watch's alarm goes off, signaling that I have to be somewhere. I mentally prepare myself and walk out the door before entering my car and driving off. Lou and Buzz said they wanted to show me something, hopefully it isn't another microwave with another duck attached to it.
