Harden is 16 years old, African-American male, his background story is as follows. Harden was born in 2003, on the 12th of November in the Los Santos hospital. He used to live in Jefferson, with his parents, Clara, and James, and with his brother Darius, who was 3 years older than Harden. They, as a family lived in a black neighborhood. Harden had a jovial childhood, his parents were wealthy enough to buy him everything he wanted. Him and his brother were really close to each other, but this changed later on, as they started growing up. At the age of just 6, Harden lost his dad because some racist government official decided to take a black man's life. Harden couldn't belive this, until his mother told him, that it was all true. At that age, young Harden and his brother Darius, were going to revenge his father because they just couldn't take the fact that their father was shot by someone who should be protecting them, a police officer.

At this point Darius and Harden's lives have changed dramatically, both of them turned into thugs. Basically they were doing things that some children wouldn't even dare to do, for example, when Darius was 14 and Harden was 11, they were taken to hospital because they stole multiple cars from a neighborhood. They were really getting into trouble. One day the police knocked on their door, and they were sent into a child prison with the hopes of their behaviour changing positively. The goodbye was hard, and the children were broken, sad and disapointed in their mother for agreeing to send them there. At that point they couldn't trust their mother again, neither the police. They hated the community, they hated everyone, because of their rocky path in life. Both of them were in prison for 1 year, and they pretended to have changed, but they never really did. After the prison, they were sent to a care home, where they stayed until Darius turned turned 19 and Harden 16. They escaped from the care home and decided to live their lives in the Streets of Los Santos, as homeless teenagers. Right now, they are still living their life on the streets, doing all sorts of stuff on the streets, like stealing, and fighting, they still don't have a house or a place to live in.
