↳ BACKGROUND: Chiyoko was brought up in a very hostile household that was filled constant shouting and fighting. From a very young age, she found out about her father's abusive ways because she would always see him abusing her mother. She always cried quietly to herself because she was scared that he would hurt her too. Her dad came home completely drunk most of the time which made him more dangerous since he had no control over himself. As she got older, the more the arguing would occur. When she turned 18, she started trying to help her mum by holding her dad back but he was always too strong and she would usually get hurt in the process. At this point, she had stopped sleeping. This was not because she didn't want to sleep, it was because she physically couldn't. Whenever she laid her head on her pillow and close her eyes, she would hear shouting and see her dad abusing her mum. But the worst thought that would come to her mind was the sight of her dad strangling her mum. It haunted her.  She couldn't bring herself to sleep, it was too difficult. Instead, she would find something to occupy her for the night or she would lay awake staring at the ceiling. In school, she couldn't her head up or focus on the teacher, as much as she tried. This meant she constantly got in trouble by the teacher for not concentrating in class. She had two friends and she told them everything, they figured she had insomnia. The only thing was they did not know the severity of her case. She went to a hospital by herself and told a healthcare professional about her symptoms and how long it has been lasting for. They told her that she had a major case of Insomnia. The next few weeks, she would visit them a lot telling them about how her week has been, this was because she didn't feel comfortable about telling her parents about her condition. The next couple of years were mentally, physically and emotionally draining for her. She found it hard to do the simplest of tasks because of how tired she was.

↳ PERSONALITY:
+ She is actually a very honest person and always hates lying. She especially hates it when other people lie because it makes her trust them less. Unless it was absolutely necessary, Daehee never lied to her parents and was pretty honest with them. She believes lying is toxic and will only end up blowing up in your own face. Her honesty can get her into trouble since she will tell the truth about anything, even if it hurts the person. There have been many times she has accidentally insulted her friends due to her just honsetly answereing a question.
+ She is actually pretty loyal and puts her close friends and the important people in her life before herself. Since she doesn't have many actual friends, the friends she does have are very important to her and would hate to lose them.
+ Daehee is quite a close-minded person meaning she is difficult to persuade. She never believes it when people try to tell her she is a smart girl because she believes that they are trying to be nice. Once she has an idea set in her mind about herself, someone or something, it will be very difficult to change her mind.
+ Daehee is quite compassionate towards others and hates it when people are being unfairly mistreated.
+ She is very kind-hearted and wants only the best for people that want the best for her. She has never been one to spite or envy people she is close with.
+ Daehee is known for having her stubborn moments where she will go out of her way to ignore you if you have annoyed her and disagreed with her. Most people find this very annoying because they are usually forced to apologise even if they genuinely did nothing wrong.

↳ WHY DID YOU JOIN THE PROGRAM?: I joined the program because I needed an escape from the nonstop arguing of my parents. I knew the constant hostility was not good for my mental well-being. I started to notice this more and when I couldn't get to sleep. Thoughts and bad dreams would fill my mind, preventing me from sleeping. When I heard about the program, I knew I had to do it because atleast it is a start to bettering myself.
