- [21:23] Malikos removes the voice of the southern accent, seeing that he was safe from the outside of exposing his true self. His eyes going towards everyone present and just shaking his head.
- And when he spokes, it was smooth.
- "Alexander lied."
- (Malikos Caelum)
- [21:24] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I do believe those two words need elaboration."
- [21:39] Well, seeing that he already got straight to the point, he continued. A nod to the ex-Stellus and a nod towards the preist.
- "I have spoken to knights of the order who were present at the party. They were speaking about how it all went down, how Asta was apparently not the one in charge of doing any of these things.
- Instead, it was the Queen, Nebula, who started this. You see, Asta brought cabbages over towards the party in order to show peace, a political gift that had nothing more than positive affirmation.
- However, Nebula spoke up and I quote, 'You were not invited here on purpose' and destroyed the cabbages by withering it away with magic of nature. Thus, raising things."
- He simply looks over towards the important figures of the room, only nodding afterwards. It was getting that big, too big, even.
- "The white eyes that were reported was a special technique that the Teraphim may be able to do, to see the soul of others around them. They are not threatening but can make people uncomfortable for just a second. It isn't dark magic, which was confirmed by a knight and Peneloppe.
- However, if you want to know the truth? This war that will cost thousands of lives started over Cabbages and looks; a fight that the Queen started and what the King ordered to do. It wasn't until they tried to arrest and do other things that, well, the fight happened and got Hrist killed."
- He was looking off to the side, just thinking of Lloyd and other people. It was, sad, tragic -- and it was worse than the King lied to them all.
- "So, I ask you, Stellus, knowing this, will the Faith march? If so, I will go."
- (Malikos Caelum)
- [21:41] The meeting between the Triumvirate finally over with, he soon headed off towards the celestial church, steps leading him directly towards the eastern wing and up the stairs towards the meeting room.
- A smile sent to each individual, a short nod of his head in recognition towards the gathered clergy members as he took the seat designated for his title.
- "Thank you for coming, now then."
- "As you all known, Osrona and Myllneoris's peace treaty was broken, and now the two kingdoms will be heading off to war. And then we have the matter of the Lionhart mercenaries wishing to claim the bridge of Osrona for themselves."
- Messes everywhere, and information that those listening within the room would no doubt already have heard, but a recap didn't hurt, a moment given before he started to speak once more.
- "A recent meeting with the King has only further drawn out an image that war is inevitable within the future. And not just with Myllenoris when the clash ends."
- The cosmic-codex within his lap was lightly shuffled as he paused ot listen to Malikos. Lloyd's words previous words only adding on to what Malikos passed on.
- "And there is something that had me worried, that I was being lied to when I spoke to the King, that this was a war not to defend Osrona, but to begin a conquest throughout the continent.."
- Disappointment leaked into his tone, head shaking to the side to allow white locks to overtake his forehead for a moment as he slowly turned his blue orbs onto those within the room.
- "I would like your thoughts on the matter, we're a unified body, and all voices are to be heard."
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- [21:44] The elder remained silent as she sat upon the bench. Those dull green hues looking forward as the news was delivered.
- For the moment the elder would simply remain silent. That golden glow around her continued. Even after Pericles had wished to hear them all the elder remained silent.
- If they had been lied to and this was in-fact the start of a continent wide conquest, well.. that was very serious. It would need to be handled very carefully.
- But for now she would just be quiet. Listening to the others.
- (Elora Renae Otho)
- [21:46] "As one who was present at the party, I can confirm the words that Malikos has said." Romani said simply, crossing his arms behind his back.
- "The cabbages, brought as gifts were rotted away by Nebula. After words, proceeded the white eyes that Asta used. At this point, or maybe a few moments later, Alexander ordered her captured, and for the crown to be removed from her head."
- "She willingly did so. The battle mainly began when the King tried to make Regulus sign a document abdicating the crown of Myllenoris to another Teraphim. From there, it erupted mainly into chaos."
- His lips formed a line.
- "I participated in the battle against Asta, in hopes of driving her off and preventing death. I failed, but I personally do not blame her for fighting. Especially declaring it in the castle during the reception is a break of sacred hospitality. That said, when she used shadows to attack people, I was forced to get involved."
- He leaned more into his chair.
- "As Keepers, we have oaths to defend the city if it falls under attack. But I do not believe that we should begin a conquest under our oaths."
- (Romani cos Montclaire)
- [21:47] Fashionably late. Not everyone can look this good. But, they are late and they take a seat beside Romani, quiet apologies ensuing as they listened to Malikos. Del too was present at the party. A glance is made to the other Priests as they wait to hear Pericles' words first.
- "War happens. The means of it always blur. We've been caught in the cycle since the very beginning. The angels were at war and it's why we're here now."
- The Priest bears a more idle gaze on Malikos. Hands resting on their lap as they spoke, their own thoughts shared.
- "With that said, soldiers fight in wars regardless of the meaning. An enraged leader, a tyrant, politic means. The Church aids in very specific occasions. More recently our efforts against occultists. Ilburg and the battle for the bridge being a few examples..."
- They paused, allowing for their voice to rest a few seconds.
- "Are there occultists in Myllenoris? I don't wish to speak on Lionheart at this time... But, it was a declaration made over the claim of magic used against the Queen... While I was there, my focus laid elsewhere. Festivities and a sudden change to scenery at the cause of the High Lady..."
- "The end goal of it is why we make actions- At least me, personally... It was made worse when she spoke of killing those who touched her..."
- "Then she did..."
- A glance made to Romani.
- "Conquest is not our objective. While of Osrona, under the King, we've our own oaths separate from the Order."
- "Though we've strength, we're not army that's to mobilize alongside them."
- (Del mer Joyau)
- [21:49] Inante merely remained silent for a time as he had already thought over what was said at the Kings Announcement and now during this meeting it seemed the topic would be the very same discussion.
- "It would be remiss of me not to say this but I'll say it clearly so everyone knows my position." He cleared his throat.
- "The Church should not get involved with the wars, and concquests regardless of their intentions...Yet at the same time personally Esshar is by birthright to be claimed by the Petrakis crown. Anyone who's read our scripture knows as much."
- He'd gesture towards the Celestial Codex Cosmos, Although the fact of a conquest would be bloody and grim yet.
- "I sighed the peace treaty myself during my time as Stellus, Its very unfortunate to see that things peace had been disturb over a simple misunderstanding of a gesture. I can only question the queens motivation in doing something to that."
- He shook his head and spoke clearly.
- "All that considered personally I don't support a war of conquest under these circumstances. Its far to risky and rash. All of Esshar and their City states already wants blood from Osrona, We'll be giving them a reason to unite and crush us. As the previous regime its only a matter of time that more and more of our allies turn enemies and wish to see us destroyed."
- He'd take a pause listening to everyone else's Words.
- "That being said if it comes we need to defend our city I think we should consider doing that. While we need not take the offensive it would be unwise of us to do nothing if Osrona faces threat of siege or destruction."
- (Inante arl Salis)
- [21:50] From one meeting to another.
- Considering his teacher's feelings towards meetings, he must be going through Hel right now. Here's hoping he doesn't drown that sorrow with alcohol. Which he seemed to own a lot of...
- Huh.
- Though as the meeting got remained silent, soaking in everything coming his way. Not only from Pericles, but from his keeper in training, Malikos as well. It seems as if everything wasn't as they originally seemed.
- Which was truly a shame.
- A frown had graced his features, as his mythril boots began to idly tap away at the ground.
- "I wasn't at the Wedding, so I can't truly comment on any of that, but I trust that no one here would lie, so..."
- A sigh follows, before he quickly shakes his head. It was onto the subject of war now, wasn't it?
- "I... I hate war. All conflicts really. If possible, I'd like to stay out of all of this, but." Therewas always a but, wasn't there? "Should the city fall under siege, it is our duty as Keepers to keep the faithful safe."
- A pause.
- "Does that mean we join them in their endeavor to conquest? No. I don't think it does. It's our job to protect, not to attack. Should armies march on Osrona, then, and only then should the Keepers mobilize."
- (Sparrow cos Queen)
- [21:54] Sethon rises from his perch. The skin of alabaster digits intertwine, set upon one another behind his back. Posture pristine, countenance devoid of emotion, this matter demanded impartiality.
- "The King did not lie," speaks Sethon plainly, tone imperturbable and steeled in the face of such dire circumstance. The grey slate of his eyes search Malikos' own countenance, before setting upon the bench of Priests and leadership alike.
- "And we must be careful in pedalling that narrative. We are loyal to King and Faith first and foremost. His Majesty King Alexander spoke no lies, neither on the eve nor in his public address. I was there. His Majesty believed, truly, that Asta Hagrave had utilized her magic maliciously toward Lady Nebula.
- Offer your opinion, please, but to accuse the King of misleading a Kingdom in efforts of his own futile, prideful pursuits is akin to treason. The King did not lie, nor did he mislead, but his decision on the evening and even now is an erroneous one.
- If we must cast blame, then cast it upon Lady Nebula; she is the instigator, and the catalyst to this inauspicious situation. It is her misplaced understanding of her role in this society - her loose lips and impudence - that has led to this. Some might even look upon her pride as... sinful.
- If the city is attacked we must defend. This is our duty, our fate, and our division mission.
- But to take part in some bloody conquest over the effrontery of a faux-Queen..."
- (Sethon)
- [21:59] His eyes focused on Sethon first, only giving them a respectful nod, but his tongue betrayed it his countenance.
- "If a man cannot control his emotions during something that can cause thousands of death, than it is his fault just as much as his. He ordered it, not the Queen, so let's not play the game of who was right, and who was wrong.
- The King addressed that Asta Hargrave used magic on his wife, but looking into the soul isn't by any means being used for malicious things. This was confirmed by the knight who spoke and Penelope. They proclaimed to attack first, but if anything, from what I heard? It was self defense." The gaze then focused upon the Stellus once again.
- "I agree with the priests, we protect the faithful, not to march. The stars wouldn't wish for us to conquer, but to teach, to protect. I will protect.
- I will help defend."
- (Malikos Caelum)
- [22:05] So many opinions to be heard, all holding wisdom that was soaked in by the Stellus, his smile soon returning as his gaze shifted through those that had spoken out.
- "Cabbages.."
- An index-finger tapped away against his cosmic-codex as he thought about perhaps how it had all truly started, although Asta's presence within a private party was another reason for everything to have even taken such a turn.
- "Emotions at an all time high, his relation to Lady Nebula is an intimate one, and suspecting an attack on her due to the spirits that seemed to move towards his newly titled wife.."
- Pericles's head lightly bopped, the information about the gift from Asta being destroyed was information not held within the recent meeting of the Triumvirate, his lips parting into a hum.
- It was heartening, bring his smile into a further softer curl as he listened to their words. Such reliable people, it was a beautiful vision that greeted the Stellus.
- "Lady Nebula's action when it came to this gift was the catalyst."
- A nod towards Sethon in gratitude, glad that there wasn't merely a single pointed view between the group. It allowed for more options to appear ahead of them, and for a clearer picture to be formed.
- "And then Asta's reaction with attempting to peer into Lady Nebula only led to the flames being fuelled further, the King's reaction is truly understandable, his wife within his eyes was assaulted."
- Alexander's recent words had him believing that truly, the tapping ceasing as he thought further on everyone's opinions. It seemed they all were in agreement to a degree.
- "Thank you for all your words, truly. It allows us to further think on matters properly with a clearer mind, and I am glad to see we are all in agreement to the future."
- "Wewill aid the defence of the city, but we won't aid in conquering. The arrogance of the people of Astya taught us a valuable lesson in the past, and now I can only hope the future does not repeat itself."
- For would the Angel's give mercy a second time?
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- [22:09] Romani would nod.
- "It sounds as if the whole of the clergy believes a similar ideal. We should defend Orsona, and we should not conquer the areas outside. We should defend life, and attempt not to have it lost as much as possible. No exterior excursions during these battles then, but there still remains some questions."
- His own glance moved around the room, no longer addressing the talk of the inciting incident of the war.
- "Two locations. The bridge to the west of Orsona, should that come under attack, is it under our oath to protect it? And last but not least, the Starfall tower, the joint tower of both Orsona and Myllenoris. For the purposes of defending Orsona, do we defend these two places from attack?"
- "We should address that so we are on the same page."
- (Romani cos Montclaire)
- [22:10] "To operate with stupidity and political indelicacy is not the same as pedalling lies to impel a nation to war. To disagree with the King is one thing; to libel and defame is another entirely.
- The Church bares weight. People will take commentary like this - of the Kings lies and his warmongering - to heart. And then you are left with war and a Kingdom in unrest."
- Sethon inhales, with eyes set fiercely upon Malikos' own; debate often stoked the flames of passion within him. Right and wrong. Just and unjust. Moral and immoral.
- The uncertainties of the world and the interpretation of those around him was a most curious thing.
- "Are we beyond seeking counsel with the King in an effort to persuade him toward a less bloody conclusion? Even now, the mercenaries to the West band together with the forces of Myllenoris to disrupt the bridge and act against the Kingdom.
- If we do not seek to pedal a morefruitful resolution, we shall be just as accountable for whatever fate we are met with.
- 'So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.'"
- (Sethon)
- [22:11] Blame placed to the Queen, the King, emotions.
- "I've recently asked this of someone: What would you do for someone you love? For a while I danced around it but the King will mobilize his army if his Queen is threatened."
- "While it's rude to rot the gift someone brings to you, so is making an appearance to an event uninvited. A war should not have broken out between two nations over it but. My opinion on war has been made clear already, yet in the grand scheme of things, me not wanting a war does not matter..."
- It's simply the truth. In their youth it didn't especially. The idea spoken on the death already. Beaten with the notion of peace and stepping in only for defense.
- However, the topic of the bridge stills their tongue for a moment. A conflicted gaze circled around the room.
- (Del mer Joyau)
- [22:12] "And you would be right.
- If we already weren't in a state on unrest."
- The knights hated this. Llyod was having mental breakdowns. People were thinking of retiring when those who realize this were, well, fighting over the fact of bad looks and cabbages.
- "Though, I have nothing else to add. Defensive, appoint me anywhere. However, I think we can agree that this is... unneeded."
- Then, he clears his throat, only to join on the bench.
- "Bu' it b' like tha."
- (Malikos Caelum)
- [22:14] "Regarding the Bridge and the Tower. I believe it counts as parts of our territory. Had we surrendered them it would Cut off Osrona from the rest of Esshar. Killing trade between our out Lying territories. Personally strategic notions aside I think its fair to say we should defend them as well. Otherwise it would be nothing less than a siege if we were to lose the bridge and the Tower."
- Inante merely nodded gently one of the wisps that followed him placed itself on his shoulder as he began to think and then nodded.
- "Well I think there's not much else to discuss on that topic so if you'd allow me I'll bring up another one."
- Inante handed out paper work to everyone a report on his current findings and what he plans to do, Although by now the majority of the members would have known or heard about this.
- Mostly the Priests of course.
- "I've recent reports of an active cult, I will be going myself to help lead in the operation to stop any such rituals or practices they are doing. We've confirmed them to be a threat, And even using living sacrifices to meet their goals. I think we should take swift action once we've build up the forces."
- After which he'd allow for everyone to read the report and opt in if they were willing to come along. "There have also been reports of them procuring a starstone. Something I'd much rather we have for our protection and use."
- (Inante arl Salis)
- [22:16] It seems like most of the church was in agreement here.
- While Sparrow would never truly support any war. He had sworn an oath to defend the faithful. That was his job as a keeper. To defend, not to attack. So that's exactly what he would do.
- Thruthfully, Sparrow didn't have an opinion about what went down at the wedding. One thing led towards another, and everything seemed to spiral out of control from there.
- Though it seems as if the meeting wasn't over just yet. There were still things to be addressed.
- "You raise a fair point, Romani. If the Lionhearts continue to assault the faithful that wish to traverse the bridge, it's our duty to protect them, but..."
- Sparrow simply sighs, before moving onto the next subject, opting to not finish his stamen.
- "As for the Tower? I'm not too certain. That's an Order strongpoint, I can't imagine many civilians residing there. Especially now,but.. Hm."
- A quick shake of his head follows, as the Noble does his best to come up with some form of plan, anything really.
- "I'm not certain if we should defend it, or not."
- As for the war in general.
- "I can't imagine anyone truly wanted this war, and yet it was thrust upon us. Our duty is to keep the people of Osrona safe, but... Perhaps there might be a way for peace to prevail without conflict."
- A glance would be spared over towards Pericles.
- "Or is that option already gone?"
- (Sparrow cos Queen)
- [22:19] The words of Malikos and Sethon caught his attention more than the others, it was an interesting back and forth that had him cutting in when Sethon spoke about seeking counsel with the King.
- "The idea of conquest was within the King's mind already, and he said such within the meeting. He believes for the sake of peace that everyone should be brought underneath one banner."
- Ordained by the Angel Maltziel.
- And yet, the true Kingdom of Osrona had crumbled beneath multiple attacks to end up becoming one of four settlements within the continent. It was a pitiful comparison to the past.
- "He wishes to.. Wishes to uphold his birth right."
- A sigh left his parted lips as those words sounded out. The bloodline of Petrakis was one he revered due to their connection to the heavens, but the bodies required to be stepped over to reach the singular Empire once more was...
- Something that he didn't dare to think upon.
- "The bridge is truthfully, a vocal point of Osrona's trade, and allows us to move towards towns and villages on our western side, and is within Osrona's land."
- "The Tower is something I'd like to have your thoughts upon. It was a joint effort put forward by Myllenrois and Osrona for the defensible position against Illburg and Theria. But, now within my mind it is a liability that will only cause losses to further grow on Osrona's side."
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- [22:25] Inante gave a listen to everyone's words still thinking of his own thoughts. While he couldn't disagree with Alexander wanting to claim his birthright it was a right and a wrong way to go about it.
- Yet still he could not be blamed for this it was enviable. "The conquest while I do feel it is rushed It was something despite all of our practice and prayer that could not be avoided.
- There is a frim nationalist movement to draw Esshar back under Osrona's rule, And very much the same can be said of every other settlement wanting to achieve that goal. Its not by any means a unique concept. Whether we agree with it or not we must understand that much." The Priest shuffled patting the trio of wisps away from him.
- "That being, Fully agree to protect the Bridge. and the Starfall Tower. While yes its an Order strong hold not defending it would lead to more open attacks against Osrona from a far more easily defendable position. They could launch all manner of assaults on us if we let them have it. Making our job of defending the faithful all that much harder." He'd smooth his robes making sure their weren't any creases.
- "That's my opinion on that matter anyways. Regardless I think we should indeed defend both positions. And not take lightly what not doing so will entail."
- (Inante arl Salis)
- [22:25] "I do believe in everyone having peace underneath one banner. However, I equally believe that the way that is attempted was not the way to do it. We were close. All it would have taken is a summit between nations, and the establishment of a unified force. But instead, it likely that Esshar will become unified against Orsona."
- Romani would close his eyes as he spoke such, giving a small shake of his head and a sigh. "In my opinion, the way of pursuing the idea of peace fell off of what it should have been."
- However, no more of that. The priest would instead focus on his priorly raised point.
- "So if they attack the bridge, we defend it. At the same time, I have heard that people are being attacked one it. We should dispatch a team of Keepers to handle such."
- Then the tower.
- "My belief is that the tower is just as much Myllesoris as it is Orsona. Both sides put money towards it's funding, so it is difficult for me to call it one way or another. I will abstain from it, ultimately, and leave that choice to all of you. I only believed it should be brought up."
- A glance towards Inante. "We should look into this active cult then. Do we know what they worship? And if they are sacrificing people, action should be ever quick."
- (Romani cos Montclaire)
- [22:31] "Does he not sully his birth right by pursuing this path, Stellus?"
- It is an inquiry poised tentatively, as if a single misstep might alight a fuse. To consider speaking against the King in this secretive manner - any of them - was to juggle flames. A single slip might leave them scorched, and their Church in ruin.
- "Is the council not a triumvirate to avoid this very thing? Fruitless war under misguidance? Forcible unification is not unification at all, nor will it bare any semblance of peace for a long, long time.
- Countries, Kingdoms, cities, even, do not bow unless they are relentlessly whipped into submission.
- A unified Kingdom cannot prosper beneath a King and his supposed birth right. None but God Himself can speak upon what is best for this land and the most peaceful way to achieve it, and given we are not a theocracy..."
- (Sethon)
- [22:38] "The bridge could be destroyed if needed, and then we wouldn't have to worry about attacks from a third angle, instead they would merely have an island for themselves. And no lives would be lost."
- Hopefully.
- An option given forward as he remained gazing towards those that spoke, Sethon's words about the triumvirate causing a rather hollow laugh to sound out.
- "Indeed, a trio, but unfortunately the other voice is the Lightbringer."
- A woman he would of perhaps another time held a favourable view of, especially with them being married to his childhood friend, but alas. His image of the woman was tainted long ago.
- "War is something that is wanted, and they will not be persuaded otherwise. I can tell such, especially with past situations where war could of so easily been avoided if miscommunication, or a lack of care when it came to communicating was fixed."
- "The Lightbringer agreed to the plans of war."
- Pericles's words continued, unabashedly revealing such information for the ears of the clergy members. Most would of expected such an outcome with what was known of the Astor.
- A warrior at heart.
- "The people of Kraus have become hungry again. We shall focus on defending the innocent, and perhaps uncovering further information about this entire matter."
- And then attention turned onto Inante, the matter of the recent uprising of a cult was worrying, but luckily plans were already underway to search further into the matter.
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- [22:41] "I would like to say that destroying the bridge is a good idea, but Myllenoris uses boats to get there and back, correct? I do not believe that considering such, it would be as effective. That said, I am personally, again, uncertain if it is truly vital to defend, and am abstaining from the vote."
- He talks not of the light bringer. Nor of the war. Instead, the noble merely looked to gather if there was anything else he could think to touch on.
- "Again, if we are going to defend the bridge we need to gather a group of keepers, maybe four or five, and strike at the banditry that goes on at the bridge. That would be the best way to handle it. But aside from that?"
- "It sounds as if we are acting fully on a defensive." He nodded. "As the church, at least."
- (Romani cos Montclaire)
- [22:43] The Priest remains quiet. Though there's an audible yet quiet tap to the armrest of their seat.
- Tap, tap, tap, tap...
- (Del mer Joyau)
- [22:44] Sethon stirs from his momentary silence as he contemplates the words of Perciles. There was little to be done, then, but resist the pressure to conquest and hone their efforts on defence of the Kingdom and commonfolk.
- "...I - wish to assist the Keepers in this, if it is deemed appropriate." A quiet interjection, gaze swept momentarily to Del - who had bore witness to the fruits of his efforts - and then back.
- (Sethon)
- [22:45] "Perhaps we should have just let Theria blow the bridge up. It would have saved us a lot of hassle." The Priest stated half jokingly, half seriously. "Oh well."
- Sparrow simply shrugs, before leaning a tad bit forward in his seat. Then came the news he had quite honestly expected. What little he did know of the Lightbringer, was of her desire to conquer.
- Yani had made sure to let him know about that.
- Perhaps he should have listened to his cousin all those years ago, and just...
- No, no. That's something to dwell upon later, not right now.
- "Should the time arise to defend the bridge, I'll be there. As for the Tower? I too will choose to abstain."
- A nod follows.
- "-And yes, I'm happy to hear that we're all on the same page about being on the defensive, not the offensive."
- (Sparrow cos Queen)
- [22:45] Sparrow cos Queen says, "...Abstain from voting on it."
- [22:45] Sparrow cos Queen says, "Whooops."
- [22:47] "Yes not to mention we are dealing with people who with enough effort can control the very land mass if they opted to do so. We mustn't underestimate them."
- He had made a lot of good friends and acquaintances in Myllenoris it was hard for him to think of them now as the enemy and someone he would have to protect his home against.
- "Regarding the Cult and their activities we believe they are worshiping demons, and we have reason to believe harboring and pacting with them as well. Truly we have no reason not to bring down the weight of the stars upon them But even then I ask that we hold our judgement until we seen it for ourselves and decide from there."
- "I think not defending the tower would be a grave mistake that would lead us into even more conflicts. But if no one else agrees with me I'll let the majority go over."
- He'd place a leg over his knee sitting as he raised his hand. Two dropped out and another hasyet to decide.
- (Inante arl Salis)
- [22:49] Romani cos Montclaire says, "One for defending the tower. Two abstaining. None for not defending the tower."
- [22:49] Pericles Vitalis says, "For now we will abstain, and wait to see how things progress further."
- [22:51] Del mer Joyau says, "I agree..."
- [22:54] Throughout the entire affair, Filia maintained staunch quietude as she observed the discourse taking place. Cults, the king, and war... All of it was terribly overwhelming.
- So with what little she had to offer, she would contribute -
- "Stellus Vitalis," she begins, tone clear and unwavering, "I, too, would like to assist in the effort."
- (Filia)
- [22:54] Pericles rose to a stand, the meeting had thankfully went quicker than he had expected, there was no bitter bickering but instead constructive words to break down the future of the Faith.
- Warming.
- Sethon and Filia's request had a swift reply from the Stellus, smile remaining as he offered a nod towards the duo.
- "Of course. Sparrow or Romani can aid you in further training, or even myself. We will hopefully still have a few months before skirmishes truly start to take form."
- "And so refinement of our martial abilities will be put into play. If you have any further questions or need any guidance merely ask myself or another."
- The duo of acolytes were two he rarely got to interact with as of late, mainly due to his schedule, but hopefully that would change with the upcoming days.
- "Let's adjourn here. Thank you once again for everyone's words, they have been a great help. And it greatly warms my heart to see you all so confident within your words."
- Hands came together to lightly clap, the cosmic-codex within his grip acting as a shield between the two palms as he waited for anymore replies, and then he departed.
- His bed was calling him.
- (Pericles Vitalis)
