Connar: (focused on phone)
Noi: What’s up Xe?
Connar: ….What? Oh, do you remember that girl I told you about? The one that helped me find Yamaku’s journal
Noi: Yeah, Carter right
Connar: According to twitter she woke up this morning with a bruise on her inner forearm after dreaming of glowing green eyes in the dark.
Noi: you thinking something bit her, maybe something infected?
Connar: not this time, if it was something infected she be sick and right now she seems to be fine or as fine as one can be given her circumstances.
Noi: maybe a spirit then, remember the whole fiasco in the boat house, it could be something similar
Connar: Maybe, but if that were the case then shouldn’t her dream be more…vivid. The way she describes it sounds more like she woke in the middle of the night and saw something.
Noi: the schools warded though, anything that could make it through the barrier would have torn her apart, not just bruise her arm.
Connar: You’re thinking she saw human with glowing green eyes?
Noi:  No, I think she saw human with a night vision device
Connar: night vision goggles don’t glow green, that’s just something you see in the movies
Noi: When I was with ROK Special Forces, we were always taught to keep the NVDs close to your face because the light from the view finder could give you away.
 Connar: Aw, I see, so you think that maybe she was visited by an agent
Noi: There’s always someone hanging around Innsmouth, anyone see anything last night?
Connar: One second… yeah, a Templar agent says he saw a team observing Innsmouth last night, but he didn’t get a good look at them
Noi: Now we are getting somewhere, we have an NVD and a team observing Innsmouth. So the question is who sent this team.
Connar: I previously encountered Phoenicians in the area and based on what the Templar said it seems to fit their MO but, there are a few other suspects I’m thinking about, Orochi and the morning light to be precise
Noi: the Phoenicians wouldn’t be this subtle, if they wanted the girl they’d charge in, stuff her in a sack and kill any one that got in their way
Connar: you’re thinking Orochi's a better bet?
Noi: why not? We know that they have an interest in her and children like her and they have the capabilities to pull off this kind of operation
Connar: Hay can I get another scotch?
Noi: (pours another coffee)
Drink count: 3 coffees, 1 scotch
Connar: (empty’s flask into coffee cup)
Drink count: 2 coffees, 1 scotch, and 1 Irish coffee
Connar: What? It’s not like it’s going to kill me, the bees have rebuilt my liver at least a dozen times and only about 3 of those were alcohol related
Noi: Sigh
Connar: anyway we still haven’t established what the bruise on her are is from
Noi: the way she described it, it sounds like bruise you get from an IV
Connar: Assuming it is from an IV, what do you think putting something in or taking something out?
Noi: it depends if these observers come back they probably put something in, if they don’t they probably took something out. We will have to wait and see.
Connar: If it was a IV mark on her arm then I see why you think Orochi is a better bet. They don’t commit resources until they are certain they have found what they’re looking for
Noi: So you think that this is a recon team then?
Connar: Assuming its Orochi, I do
Noi: But, you don’t have any proof of that
Connar: Then the next step would be to find some
Noi: And where are you going to find it
Connar: On Solomon Island of course, I doubt they’ll send anything back to Tokyo before there absolutely sure they have found what they’re looking for. So I’ll set up camp on Blue Mountain, tap into their network and find out what’s going on.
Noi: And then you’ll fly back to Seoul just as the next show is about to begin
Connar: there’s no need to be sarcastic, I have found ways around QEC before and the fog has cut them off from the mainframe. So they haven’t changed the function yet.
Noi: Given where Carter goes to school I highly doubt that she’s the only child at that school that Orochi would be interested in. While you’re out playing super hero, you might want to check if any children went missing before the fog rolled in.
Connar: Will do, Connar Green away!
Noi: Yo Super Man, are you going to pay for these drinks?
