- A flash of blue and Emma was streaking forward on jet propulsion, a shimmering shield braced against her arms as she became a teenaged cannonball. She clipped two demons, then punched through two more before the last one dodged. Emma pivoted, flared, and brought herself to a halt with halberd in hand. She had time to give it a twirl, snap it to guard, and plant her feet into a loose fighting stance.
