  1. <CDatWork> http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/1265814 <-- no tail, though, guess I thought it was hiding in her hair in the thumbnail
  2. <CDatWork> also it calls her "Signyam"
  3. <CDatWork> because of course it does
  4. <Ikiryo> Heh
  5. <Ikiryo> Yeah, since I'm not sleeping, want to finish this off?
  6. <CDatWork> sure
  7. <SpaceThor> oh, a short people restaurant?
  8. <CDatWork> yep
  9. <SpaceThor> neat
  10. <SpaceThor> i wonder if karkanna's family has a share of it
  11. <CDatWork> though there are some place settings for Medium-sized creatures
  12. <CDatWork> it mostly caters to Small
  13. <SpaceThor> yeah
  14. <Ikiryo> I can imagine Kat walking in there and just punting people.
  15. <SpaceThor> Dwarves are shorter, but still in the Medium size category
  16. <CDatWork> yep
  17. <CDatWork> Iki: pffftlolol
  18. <SpaceThor> now now, kat isn't pointlessly evil
  19. <CDatWork> oh, and in case it wasn't obvious, Tealee is farsighted
  20. <CDatWork> "glasses" are a thing in Eberron, but they're hella bad idea to wear in a smithy. Thus: corrective goggles!
  21. <Ikiryo> heh
  22. <CDatWork> also goddammit I can't remember the name of the pirate "nation" in Khorvaire's extreme northeast
  23. <CDatWork> op
  24. <CDatWork> I type that
  25. <CDatWork> and I remember~
  26. <Ikiryo> http://imgur.com/gallery/fS6XT5v
  27. <CDatWork> hahahaha
  28. <CDatWork> other note: Aundair is basically France, but I imagine the cuisine to be between French and Italian, so there's lots of food, it's quite heavy, and can be as boring or spicy as you can imagine
  29. <CDatWork> (their cuisine is specifically called out in the eberron campaign guide, too)
  30. <Ikiryo> Hah
  31. <CDatWork> especially wine
  32. <CDatWork> they have a lot of fertile farmland and a bunch of it is vineyard
  33. <CDatWork> whaddya think, should it be spicy enough for her this time around? Almost? :P
  34. <Ikiryo> If it's spicy enough to cause physical harm to most people, maybe :P
  35. <CDatWork> rofl
  36. <CDatWork> right
  37. <CDatWork> two million scovilles, give or take? :P
  38. <CDatWork> (i.e. the fabled ghost pepper)
  39. <Ikiryo> She'll concider it acceptable.
  40. <CDatWork> rofl
  41. <Ikiryo> She'd prefer Resiniferatoxin :P
  42. <Ikiryo> Resiniferatoxin: 16 BILLION Scovilles
  43. <CDatWork> rofl
  44. <CDatWork> I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure ghost peppers CAN cause physical injury
  45. <Ikiryo> It doesn't just taste hot.
  46. <Ikiryo> Resiniferatoxin can cause CHEMICAL BURNS
  47. <Ikiryo> 40g is fatal to humans
  48. <SpaceThor> brb lunch
  49. <CDatWork> lol yeah I just read that
  50. <SpaceThor> ok back
  51. <CDatWork> wb
  52. <SpaceThor> and the fire tears come agian
  53. <CDatWork> lol
  54. <Ikiryo> http://i.imgur.com/bCejXuB.jpg Trust me, I'm an engineer!
  55. <Yan-Shih_Lang> My head hurts... from dealing with one of those idiots who is still going on about the Exalted rapeghosts.
  56. <SpaceThor> why does nobody take my advice about exalted seriously
  57. <Yan-Shih_Lang> I am, my headache isn't about exalted
  58. <Yan-Shih_Lang> That's just one of the dumb things he keeps spewing
  59. <SpaceThor> you obviously got invested enough in whatever the fuck they said to get a headache
  60. <Yan-Shih_Lang> Like how he loves 5e and thinks everyone who is talking shit about it hasn't actually even picked up the book
  61. * CDatWork has picked up the book
  62. <Yan-Shih_Lang> basically he's just a font of fucking stupid opinions and idiocy
  63. <Ikiryo> Lovely.
  64. <SpaceThor> people are allowed to have stupid opinions, just ignore him
  65. <Yan-Shih_Lang> as a side point, his opinion of female characters is 'Can I waifu or onii-chan them?' 'If neither, or if they are a lesbian on top of the latter, they are unrepentantly shit characters.'
  66. <SpaceThor> lol
  67. <SpaceThor> this sounds amazing
  68. <CDatWork> wait what
  69. <CDatWork> I mean, it's obvious but what a crock of shite
  70. <CDatWork> ...that was actually supposed to be shit. Stupid finger.
  71. <SpaceThor> i think that's how the british spell it
  72. <SpaceThor> they love their superfluous Es
  73. <Ikiryo> ...wait, so am I parsing this right: Lesbians are unrepentently shit characters?
  74. <Yan-Shih_Lang> as far as he's concerned, yes
  75. <CDatWork> if they are lesbian on top of him being able to onii-chan them, whatever that means
  76. <SpaceThor> there are people who overplay lesbians, i can give him that point, but that's it.
  77. <Ikiryo> TSABgame: Full of shit characters.
  78. <SpaceThor> except altea
  79. <Ikiryo> Rhiannon is straight.
  80. <CDatWork> altea is shit too
  81. <SpaceThor> YOU'RE SHIT
  82. <CDatWork> altea cannot be waifu'd or onii-chan'd
  83. <Yan-Shih_Lang> Basically, he only likes female characters he can waifu or be a big brother to
  84. <CDatWork> <SpaceThor> there are people who overplay lesbians, i can give him that point, but that's it. <-- *coughdirkcough*
  85. <SpaceThor> well
  86. <SpaceThor> dirk plays the SAME lesbian over and over
  87. <Yan-Shih_Lang> Because he's one of those 'men have to be gritty and tough and are the ones of the frontlines HOOAH SOLDIER MAN FOREVER!' sorts who wants females to have their delicate pre-assigned roles and blahdiblah
  88. <CDatWork> dirk overplays*
  89. <CDatWork> fixed
  90. <CDatWork> also: yaaaaaay one of those
  91. <Ikiryo> Outside TSABgame I generally go with 'All NPCs have quantum sexuality if it's not part of the character. If a player is interested in them and it's not been established I'll generally go sure whatever'
  92. <CDatWork> wait how was TSABgame any different? Or is it just because "magical girls, duh, of course they're all gay except for the occasional outlier like Rhiannon"
  93. <Yan-Shih_Lang> Anyway, Iki, can we talk in PM?
  94. <Ikiryo> CD: Basicly.
  95. <Ikiryo> PC wise...I tend to go with the same philosphy. Unless sexuality is important, I go with 'Sure, whatever'. Or in the case of Chloe, someone suggested I roll for her.
  96. <CDatWork> hah
  97. <CDatWork> yeah. Claire is actually the first character in...quite some time that I'd decided anything on at the outset
  98. <SpaceThor> i make rolls, but usually only when i think it's relevant or will become relevant
  99. <Ikiryo> I think I've had like...2 characters ever when it was important. Ivory (Supermegagay) and Boris (But that one was more a 'Sure, whatever' to mess with the GM)
  100. <Yan-Shih_Lang> Tide was 'anything that moves'. Sorn is too innocent to be into anything at all.
  101. <Ikiryo> The GM was really getting me annoyed with 'Come on, there has been THREE female characters in your story so far and all have tried to hit on and seduce a PC man and ALL have turned out to be evil so far. Fuck it, Boris is gay. This will be funny to see the results of'
  102. <CDatWork> rofl
  103. <CDatWork> awesome
  104. <Yan-Shih_Lang> lol
  105. <SpaceThor> Laska was gay (the game was an ERP so i rolled beforehand), Altea is straight (because it fills her role of 'oblivious puppy dog' too well in a magical girl game), Karkanna is hedonistic, but leans straight (because it makes sense for her character)
  106. <SpaceThor> i'm trying to think of other characters
  107. <SpaceThor> i haven't decided for Kat yet
  108. <Ikiryo> Jen is...no clue yet either.
  109. <Ikiryo> I have decided that she's MUCH more interested in fashion and dancing and fun than that sort of hedonism though.
  110. <CDatWork> Xiaozhi is "gay" because she used to be a man. Plus ERP. Zima is "anyone I find interesting" thus her complete infatuation with Izolda. Sammy is probably the same way but it's not really relevant to her (she grew up on a farm, I mean, c'mon)
  111. <SpaceThor> what, nobody else is more interesting than a farm?
  112. <SpaceThor> i have lived on a farm and i can tell you that that is the wrongest thing i have ever heard
  113. <CDatWork> no, the opposite
  114. <SpaceThor> ah
  115. <CDatWork> she kind of has an "ain't nobody got time for that" mentality--which is fading, because she's been stuck with Jen for a month and a half now nonstop
