[Afternoon]

-The duo finally get out of the Ilex forest with the everlasting darkness, and to Route 34. Home of the Daycare Ranch run by the Andersons. Cynthia and her mom, Sumia. Eager to learn about proper Pokemon caring, Rhiannon head on over to the ranch as Jalen stay behind and look for some Pokemon to catch, eventually getting to a heated war regarding one Abra and it's Teleporting spam. Near the ranch, Rhiannon come across Sumia who's caring for a Chikorita who knows her, Rhiannon puts 2 and 2 together and deduces that this was Dio's Starter. Sumia gasp at the horror while she finished up the rather proud Chikorita and tell Rin that she found the Pokemon on her way home from Violet City. Luckily for the Chikorita, It's staying here with Sumia and her daughter and she will give it to a proper trainer.

-Jalen enters the ranch with a sullen attitude at the failure of catching Abra, but he haven't given up yet. Rhiannon ask Sumia where's Cynthia at and she tells her she is out and about, they probably will run in to her on their journey. the 2 leaves and head to  Goldenrod City, the Capital of Johto in every sense with plenty of business and entertainment here to find. Jalen and Rin 1st head to the PKMN Center to get a room since they plan on staying here for a day to rest up. Inside the room, they lay down their plans for today, Jalen to buy some TMs and more Pokeballs for Abra-Hunting, Rhiannon for the Goldenrod Tea shop. the 2 head off to go do whatever they wanted to do....

-Rhiannon head over to the Tea shop, and run to both Camilla AND Lucina...Lucina angry at Camilla for making her father remove her limo and personal driver, forcing her to travel by bike(Something that Rin think on buying for both her and Jalen while they are here.) Here, some backstory on Lucina is revealed(She have a major inferiority complex regarding her parents and the need to show-off...The latter, Rin knows and the former, Camilla hints on.) And the fact that Camilla personally know Robin from back in the day. Rhiannon tells Camilla about her and Jalen's accomplishments which Camilla praise both of them while asking where Jalen is, Rin comment on him being out and about...Lucina get pissed when Camilla ponders out loud on who's stronger between her and Rhiannon with Rin answering that it's 1-0 her favor. She gets up and leave out, already having her 3rd badge, and tell the 2 that she's heading to Ecrutrek City(AFTER she spend the night in her private room in the PKMN Center, Camilla objects), Leaving the 2 females to catch up.

-At the same time, Inigo and Owain are in the tea shop(Inigo there to pick up ladies with Owain dragged off as a wingman) and failing to get females while Owain is somehow getting some of the girls to like him, much to Inigo's frustration....However, the 2 spot Rin, Camilla, and Lucina from afar and spy on them....after Lucina leaves however, Inigo sees pink hair from afar and pales as he see his sister, Soleil, in the same cafe with him. Knowing that she's looking for him, and thankful that she haven't seen him due to flirting and getting even more females than both him and Owain, He sneaks out with Owain behind him as they head to the Rocket Hideout in the deep parts of Goldenrod, waiting for Severa to come back from her training.

-Meanwhile, Severa walks with some swag in her step as she heads to Route 34 to train her newly caught Pichu from the Ilex Forest, when she spys Jalen coming from the Goldenrod Department Store, smirking and eager for another round as well as curious on him, she stalks him from afar and witness him trying to catch an Abra. After some time, he finally catches one and is proud of the fact, when Severa comes up and issue a challenge to him, determined to beat him and won't take no for an answer(She even let him heal his Pokemon up, putting on a show of "mercy" towards him). Jalen take her up on it and after an offscreen battle(Abra beaten Pichu with Fire Punch[Severa pissed at how Jalen took her 'mercy' and 'cheated'...Abra losing to Wartorle. And Wartortle losing to Flaaffy and Croconaw finishing off Zubat with ease). Jalen wins, while noting how much better she gotten in such a short amount of time....Severa is upset at losing, but use her anger to push both her and her pokemon further. Jalen tries to extort info from her regarding TR, but Severa brush him off and ask him sarcastically do he takes her as a dumbass...the 2 enter a moment of silence with each other staring at one another(Jalen feeling uncomfortable in Severa's intense staring). She eventually walks off, telling him that next time, she WILL win while switching her butt....


-Later on, Rhiannon hugs Camilla for the great night together and 2 foldable bikes for her and Jalen as she head to the room to see Jalen laying down, getting ready to sleep. The 2 discuss their day and get ready for the Gym Battle tomorrow....
