I had a reallly high pressure client pushed on me today by the CEO without telling me that he was best friends with this huge dickhead that's another client we have

not for a secret chat and not if you use two factor auth for a login
secret chats are end to end encrypted and tied to your device
you wipe it, it's gone forever
you can also make telegram completely peer to peer if you choose to do so
it's not the most secure messenger but it's better than IRC, and also I know more people there
