  2. Using Powers

  4. Regalia have Powers. These are special abilities manifesting from their traits. Using these powers though put strain on the Bride though. The strain though can be called by some as massively pleasurable.

  6. Every Power has a number next to it in parentheses. This is the cost to use that power. If the power's cost is less than the Regalia's trait, the Regalia can use it without any stress.
  7.  
  8. If the cost is higher than the trait, the Bride takes Lust stress equal to the difference.

  10. Making your own powers
  11.  
  12. When making a power, usually you need an evolution. If you're making a new trait though, it'll start with 1 to 2 powers on its own.

  14. Powers can do one of the following:
  15.  
  16. Create an Aspect on your Bride
  17. Overcome
  18. Prepare a defense for the Valkyrie
  19. Attack
  20.  
  21. Powers start at a cost between 3 and 5 before evolutions and an equal Effect to their cost.

  23. Create an Aspect on your Bride
  24.  
  25. Creating an aspect uses 3 Effect for it to last one Exchange. The Bride gains the Free invoke on the aspect.

  27. 1 Effect increases the duration by 1 Exchange.
  28.  
  29. 2 Effect increases the number of free invokes the bride receives by 1. This can only be taken once.

  31. Overcome
  32.  
  33. This is a broad set of effects. The Effect is equal to the difficulty to Overcome.

  35. Prepare a Defense for the Valkyrie
  36.  
  37. This can either provide a Block or Armor for a number of exchanges.
  38.  
  39. 1 Effect can be used to increase Block by 1.
  40.  
  41. 2 Effect can increase Armor by 1.
  42.  
  43. 1 Effect can increase the duration by 1 Exchange.
  44.  
  45. Attack
  46. When making an attack, the power has a roll with a weapon rating.
  47.  
  48. The attack roll starts at mediocre (+0). Increasing the attack roll uses up 1 effect per +1. Without evolutions, this attack roll is limited to Great (+4).

  50. The Weapon Rating also starts at 0. 1 Effect can be used to increase the weapon rating by 1.
  51.  
  52. Additional effects for the attack can be purchased.
  53.  
  54. 1 effect can give the attack Reach, while 2 effect makes the attack Ranged.

  56. The Attack can affect every target in a zone for 2 Effect.
  57.  
  58. If the Attack has a Weapon rating, the Attack can target an additional target by adding Effect equal to its Weapon rating.

  62. Evolutions
  63.  
  64. Evolutions are the equivalent of Stunts for Regalia. Unlike stunts, they cost a variable number of refresh.

  66. Making your own Evolutions:

  68. Evolutions are more than just like stunts. They are stunts, usually in a group together. A 2 refresh Evolution is the equivalent of 2 Stunts.

  70. 1 Refresh is worth:
  71.  
  72. A new power for a trait. This power has a base cost of 3-5 if the Trait doesn't have the same type of power already. If the Trait already has a power of the same type, this Power can go up to 7 Cost.
  73. A 1 cost discount on a power.
  74. An increase of 2 effect on a power, with an increase of 1 cost.
  75. A Gene for Spawn (Requires the Spawning evolution to take).
  76. A +2 to a non-power Trait roll in a limited situation.
  77. A special effect that can only be used once per session or can be used once a scene by spending a Fate point
