- Robin of Loxsley returns from the holy land, to find Nottingham in pieces under the rule of the new Sheriff. He leads a band of outlaws to fight the Sherrif and help the people of Nottingham, all whilst falling in love again with his ex-finance Marian.

- I watched the series with great interest from one episode to another. The series really grown on me. The characters were well built and well played. I loved the series having a touch of modernism from time to time. I found it refreshing. However, I honestly don't know what the writers and creators were thinking when they were completing season 2. There are some things in stories which were told many times in different ways, that you can not just change. The breaking point was the death of Marian in season 2. YOU CANNOT KILL A MAIN CHARACTER IN SUCH A STORY, BECAUSE YOU KILL THE STORY ITSELF! I intentionally wrote that in capital letters so that maybe, just maybe, writers and/or creators of this series will see that or it will somehow get to them. Marian is in Robin Hood's story the main point of the entire story! If the writers of this series wanted to try something new, they should have killed the Sheriff's character or Sir Guy's character or any other character except Robin and Marian! Period. What the writers did with their writing at the end of season 2 is that they killed the complete series. Too bad. It really was promising TV series. I honestly hope someone will learn from their mistake.
- I had some difficulty deciding on what I thought about this series. So far I've watched all but one of the episodes aired on BBC1, and I've had mixed feelings.<br/><br/>If what you're looking for is something to entertain the kids, with swooshy noises and men in leather, this series is an excellent way of spending 45 minutes of your Saturday evening. You can watch it in pretence that you enjoy the story, whilst sneakily eyeing Robin Hood with his cheeky grin, and all of his not-so-merry men. Maid Marian easily represents the feminists of that era, and if you aren't bothered by how unrealistic it all is, then this is fine.<br/><br/>However if you are the sort of person who grumpily sits in front of the TV pointing out all of the mistakes and inaccuracies, perhaps watching this could be a bad idea. What's going on with the costumes? How come they all manage to stay so clean? How come they talk like they're from the 21st Century? Et cetera. With the less-than-amazing acting and special effects, perhaps you will be sitting there, ready to stab your own eyes out with Robins arrows, because of how bad it is.<br/><br/>If you are a mix of the two described above, watch it anyway. See if you like it. If you don't, then don't watch it again. Simple as.
