- From the heavens above descended Xal, his cape fluttering in the aerial breeze high above Axanth. His head seemed risen, staring into the horizon in wait for something to catch attention from his other four senses. Alas, a weak presence pried at his focus- Perhaps not shrouded in an aura at the moment, but close. His connection to his sixth sense was particularly weak, making such attempts near questionable in terms of progression. His hollowed eye sockets stared down upon the pyromancer behind the skull-mask that hindered his identity.
- “...A presence… Yes…” His voice seemed quiet, like a prolonged and audible whisper for all to hear. It reminisced like a hiss, comforting the scene which placed such an arrival into the embrace of surrounding tendrils. Tendrils of darkness, manifested from the levitating occultist-
- “Who goes there…” His voice boomed with a dark static crackling behind it, giving it a radio-sound effect. It almost mirrored Yokai means of communication to humankind.
- (Xal)
- Axanth, would smirk. Silently raising a brow. His fire magic seeming to sizzle off his form. Stating "It is only I.." Axath, cossed his arms. Allowing the fire cascading nd flowing about his form to vanish.
- Showcasing his newfound control over the flames. Looking to the tendils of Darkness the younger Flame Magi, would feel as if Darkness was extremely familiar to him. Yet was unsure as to whythis was the case. Shrugging aside the feeling, the youth stated "I'm sorry for running off earlier, I just did not wish to be seen...I wish to not be known openly as your apprentice, I believe secrecy, must be kept."
- He would sigh, looking to the floating figure of Xal, silently forcing his eyes to look into the gaping black void where his eyes should be located, as if to reassure himself, he was not afraid of the figure, for which Occultism poured from his form, so readily, the power no doubt, could be easily used to crush him like an ant, however he wished to not display any fear in front of it.
- (Axanth D'arkeinth)
- Xal kept silence as Axanth spoke, simply honing his focus upon his position as he spoke. The essence radiating from his form seemed to vanish upon the aura disbursing from his body, however, it was not gone. It was merely recalled, receded back to the caster’s body. It was weak now, held back- Making it harder to pinpoint, but present once attention was locked upon it. The child’s request was quite understandable, In Fact, maybe even beneficial to both parties. A secret apprentice could prove more than a simple ‘student’, but as a secret weapon. The thought of such, combined with what he was lead to believe from Raius, twisted in with his encounter with royalty gave birth to- A new mindset.
- “Yeesss…” His voice evolved from loud breathing and into a serpentine hiss, the crackle of occultistic energy sounded off in his gurgling voice. His body shifted in aerial suspension, trembling the immediate scene with the illusion of a mirage. The churn of bass sounded off like the creak of an oversized door, complementing his presence with the dying foliage he hovered above. The dreadful feeling soon washed over Axanth unconsciously casted from Xal; The air grew heavy, dampened with an expanding field of manipulated gravitonic presence.
- “Secrecy, is best advised.” His body hovered closer, his head hunkered over the pyromancer as though staring straight into his eyes from the opaque pits upon his mask.
- “If you are to prove as my apprentice… You must prove your worthiness…”
- The thought of being resurrected by a necromancer in his final moments, the thought of having a greater purpose, it all built up this moment even more. If he was destined to do something greater, now was the time to prove himself.
- “Axanth, You are to go out, and seek me a man. A man regardless of battle worthiness, alive, and bring him here.” In this moment, the carnal urge that haunted him even before his memory wipe bent at his mind. His occultistic mindset had changed him.. Permanently.
- “...Leave no witnesses.”
- (Xal)
- (Insert RP of Axanth leaving and coming back with a farmer here; Did not include the RP because it goes off topic and is relatively long.)
- The boy left Xal to levitate alone within Alteros once more, allowing him the time to hone his practice once more. Absolutely everything from the wildlife, to the few Black Circle Members that wandered nearby were brought to his attention now. The sounds they made as they moved about, the mild flairs of mana presences here and there, a fight? He couldn’t tell, but with the fade of one of those presences complimented with a loud shrill- The assumption was obvious.
- Perhaps, an Oscuri killed off another bandit invader… The presence did prove small, and weak.
- “...To… See…” He spoke quietly to himself, wincing in the direction of the cry. His forehead ached, and the darkness only suffocated him even further. The opaque black… Was breached.
- A light presence, a faded blue withered about. Small- It must’ve been distant. Upon further speculation, another, far smaller and faint could be seen just beneath it, fading into the void.
- “...Is this…. The sixth sense?” He stopped squinting at the sight, and as a result, the appearance of such faded as well. Just as soon as it came to aid, he fled, leaving him blind once more. “...Perhaps.. I haven’t the capability… Not yet, atleast.”
- Time passed, and he found himself descending for the grounds once more, taking seat upon the debris of the once-standing castle of Alteros.
- Finally, the sound of footsteps beckoned his attention, the smell of soot drew him in… Battle. It was something undeniable, it fed at his carnal desire- His lust for battle was something that simply clung to him through the years. Finally, he winced in the direction in question, to bring a faint blue glow to his gaze, closing in. A magi, and… Something else? He couldn’t quite see anything, but he could feel an obstruction nearby. It was mostly thanks to his ability to hear the farmer being dragged through the fallen debri.
- “So, you’ve returned, child…”
- His mask turned towards the farmer, finding difficulty in ‘seeing’ him at all; The man was practically invisible to the occultist. “...So… Is this the other? Was your mission a success?” He asked, turning his head for Axanth.
- “Were there any survivors..”
- (Xal)
- Axanth, would sigh stating with a grin. " I have done as requested, My master. None lived, they burned..they breathed their inevitable last..I have done as requested, what now?"
- Axanth looked to the form, of the floating Xal. Before turning his head towards the wailing, and gibbering farmer, he grunted. Kicking him roughly, ignoring the yelp of his form. Flinching from burned skin, the farmer would weep tears of pain. Axanth, felt nothing seeing his tears, they only served to mke him recollect his own tears as he witnessed the bandit's slaugtering his village, smoke and ash seeming to trail within the wind. The streets alight in golden osidious flames.
- Growing visibly annoyed the youth, allowed his left hand to ignite in flames, as a clear warning to the farmer who fell silent seeing the flame coated hand. Eyes wide with terror as he looked to Axanth.
- Grinning at the sight, the youthful, and budding flame elemental felt, as if elation was coursing through his being. This was what he was missing from his life, a feeling of power over the weak, the helpless, he felt alive witnessing the male's fear.
- (Axanth D'arkeinth)
- Travelling about, the male decided to take a right, there seemed to be a path that he never took... Interesting.
- Waltsing about down the path, a small bridge caught his midnight eyes, must be a new pathway?
- Going over past the bridge, many craters caught his eyes... What had happened. Ignorant of the war that had undergoed here, the male caught onto a few voices nearby... Maybe they knew something... Or were they one of the many bandits that came into the path of his journeys... The unfortunate ones in his eyes.
- There they were, two of them... What were they speaking of? Whatever.
- The light chimes of iron boots claking neared the two, the male held a very weak source of magic fluttering about his body.
- "Hm? What are you two doing out here..."
- The male stated, a light breeze swishing by messing with his clothingalong with his violet colored hair.
- "And... What happened here?"
- (Gintaku Zakashi)
- The news was indeed promising, and from the sound of the third entity between them in a forlorn panic, it shown signs of trauma. The smell of soot and saddened panic was all the proof he needed, “Good…” From his seat, he took lift- In mere moments taking flight before the two. The farmer was the prize, now a slave for his use.
- “From now on, this on-” Something caught his attention… No, it couldn’t be, his head once snapped upwards at what felt like the sound of one’s approach, turned back down to the two before him. He withdrew breath to speak, however, words did not escape his lips. He simply lied in wait with his mouth agape, turning his attention back up for where he thought the sound came from. The sound of metal clamping upon stone and rock drew his attention. He winced in the particular direction, yet could feel… Nothing. The energy signature was simply, too weak to be sensed by him. He lacked the mastery of such an art, and thus, this arrival had the advantage…. He was practically… Invisible.
- “Who goes there..” He asked in a loud whisper towards Gintaku, his form levitated a few feet from the surface. His head slowly paved it’s gaze over the direction in search for the interloper, as clueless to the origin as he was. Had the traveler paid close attention to the skull mask upon Xal’s visage, it’s eye sockets could be noted as… Empty… Void of flesh, and hollowed out into dark pits with a light violet miasma oozing from their depths.
- “Speak now, of your identity… Interlopers, are not appreciated.”
- (Xal)
- (Insert battle RPs of Axanth vs Gintaku here....They weren't really long, but they lacked relevancy as well.)
- Axanth and Gintaku’s battle carried throughout the ruins of Alteros, desecrating the landscaping and disgracing the corpses that once lain in peace. The destruction that carried on eventually resulted in the scythed warrior gaining the edge between the two, splitting the pair for a brief moment. Axanth’s aggression allowed for rebuttle, bringing him up to face the warrior once more. The two ran for each other, steps clapping against the wreckage! The resonating metal sliding through the air with it’s familiar song rung at the blind occultist’s ears! The sound of voices evolving into battlecries, he knew the feeling all too well…
- From above, the sound of bass closed in! Descending in tone, and crashing in unison with the projectile’s landing with a thunderous crackle. The ground underfoot tremored, and the earth scattered apart, leaving dust and debris to batter at the two. Gravitonic energy propelled off from the landing to attempt launching both in opposing directions with a soaring screech against the dusty air.
- “Enough!” Proclaimed a voice; Such, proved to be Xal, whom put himself between the two. Some scuffling could be heard, and as the dust cleared behind Xal, Gintaku was gone. Regardless, the pits of darkness settled their ‘gaze’ upon Axanth. With some strain, he was able to keep a prolonged lock upon his form. Battle lashed out his mana essence, making it far easier to detect.
- “...You’ve proven only to make a mess… Next time, you wait to follow orders, or suffer the CONSEQUENCES!” He exclaimed with venom evidently in his tone directed at the pyromancer.
