——ziyi was a bright, outgoing and selfless girl as a child, she would always be treating others better than she would treat herself. it doesn't help that her family runs a large hospital in china and people would be taking advantage of her kindness to get things. her selflessness lead to a point were people would corner her for her to buy them this new house or some ridiculous request. ziyi didn't even notice that they were being such asses until her family staff told her. hence the reason why ziyi made a decision to move to korea. since then, ziyi out on a mask of a bitch. she made people think that she only cared about herself and despised the thought of having friends. ziyi had build a reputation of being snooty a week after arriving at her school, even though she had yet to say a word. she would ignore anyone that made attempts to get to know her but whenever she saw a tight group of friends having the time of their lives, ziyi would get a pang of jealously in her chest.
——her family staff knew none of this of course. ziyi would act as if nothing happened when she was home. in her staff's eyes, she was still the dumb girl who would laugh at the smallest things. her staff all loved her of course, they watched her grow up and were more family than her actual family. but they were there because of their job and ziyi knew that. but hey, at least she could throw away her mask comfortably at home.
——ziyi loved sharing things with people. it was a trait that's been with her ever since she was little. "oh hey, i got a new toy. lol yeah it happens to really expensive, wanna play with me?" but growing up, ziyi started realizing how people around her would take advantage of this and ask her for really expensive items to 'share'. "so ziyi, chanel released this new bag and i'm in love with it, could you get it and let me borrow it?" ever since she realized this, ziyi only shared things with the staff in charge of looking after her. "lol dad's never home, sit down and eat with me."
——she loves a good joke, ziyi somehow manages to laugh even at the worse jokes. she loves the bubbly feeling of a laugh rising and coming out. comedy becomes her favorite genre by default. she only ever watches them at home though, going to movie theaters would mean possibly meeting someone in her class and wow that would be awkward. who knew the cold bitch liked comedies?

》ziyi was skeptical of course. when someone suddenly transfers to her school and talks to her out of all people, all the alarms went off in her head. especially when this dude wouldn't leave her alone. he could befriend anyone in the school (proven by the crowds of people following him) but this jihoon dude keeps insisting that he wants to know her better. "are you,,, trying to hit on me?" "oh my gosh you finally acknowledged my existence. yes, i- waiT NO--" it even gotten to the point where jihoon was desperate enough to bring out his aegyo. "ziyi~~~ i'll save you in my heart~~~~" "..whATTHEFUCKMAN" ziyi whose got this super soft spot for cute things kinda just shoved her textbook in jihoon's face and ran away. "i'VE GOT AN IMAGE TO KEEP UP FFS" jihoon after knowing her weak spot, would stop that stupid jeojang thing whenever he saw ziyi. ziyi, desperate to keep up a cold image, pulled jihoon aside one day asking him that she would buy something for jihoon with her mom's money if he juST KEPT THIS A SECRET. jihoon, however, with a smile said, "rather than that, i'd like to be friends." ziyi felt touched. but being the dumb child she is, ziyi just murmured, "if you really want to" and walked away.

》by this point, ziyi would've gotten used to jihoon tagging around her. he would constantly wait in front of her house every morning to walk to school together as well as waiting for ziyi after school. the family staff got a huge shock after first seeing this. "our wangzi's growing up *sobs dramatically*" "she's dating already, i remember when she was just a baby." the fact that ziyi agreed for jihoon to accompany her every day shocked the staff the most. "ZIYI DO YOU NOT NEED OUR SERVICES ANYMORE????" "nonono, i just don't need to be driven to school--" "PLEASE DON'T FIRE ME--" jihoon slowly got to know the true personality of ziyi through the embarrassing stories the staff would share with him while he was waiting. he would see these sides on the play dates the two have occasionally. especially her soft spot for cute things.'

》the two would be pretty close now. jihoon would know everything about ziyi and ziyi thought she knew everything about jihoon. but when she found out about the assignment, it was a huge blow to their relationship. ziyi ignored jihoon completely. it was as if they were strangers again. jihoon, who actually found a comfort in their friendship along the way, tried getting ziyi alone and explaining to her but ziyi would have it. she would leave school as soon as the bell rang and leave the house super early. she would disappear during lunch. jihoon felt super guilty and wanted to apologize if it was the last thing he would do.
