Reply to Stray Fairy Dupe

Hi :)

It sounds like what happened is that the stray fairy in the elevator room (the room that the stairs lead to) was the one that flew over to you and that was the one you obtained, not the one from the first room. That would explain why the one in the first room was still there.

If you can clarify if this was not the case then we may be looking at something special, however I'm assuming this is the case.

Also: did you try to get all fairies in the dungeon at this point to make sure there were 16?
