  8.
  9. Issac had been hard at work all the while the world around the bio-dome had been changing. It wasn't that he hadn't taken notice of the weather changing or the warming affect. Honestly he had been making plans on teraformming the planet to a more warmer temperance. His fellow Beast-Folk had been wanting to change the weather outside because they hated the snow.
  10.
  11. But with that already on track it gave him time to focus on his personal project. He had been interesting in creating a living weapon. He found that Crystals could be charged with Ki which changed their *personality* and properties. When held under Ki examining devices the patterns in it's energy were altered with the emotion present while they were charged.
  12.
  13. This had lead him to see about trying to infuse these living crystals with the weapons he created. Integrating them with the swords seemed to be much harder. The blades seemed to refused to fuse around them as it seem the energy the generated and sustained was preventing it from being incorporated into the weapon, making it warped and weakened.
  14.
  15. Even after several attempts he just couldn't get these crystals to work with the swords he made. He tried to begin a different approach. He began working of a containment aperatice to contain the crystal in. lining the interior with basic arcane script of the basic elemental planes, thanks in part to the Sage that he lived along side. The created hilt contained the living crystal.
  16.
  17. Upon holding the hilt he found he could feel the energy flowing through it. He focused his own energy into the blade as he found it was resisting the flow of his energy. No matter how many times he tried he couldn't focus his own energy into it as the Crystal's own energy fought him.
  18.
  19. He tried analyzing different things. The wavelength and patter of the crystal's energy. He began wondering if perhaps the Crystal was now it's own kind of life. After a bit of analyzing he attempted a gain to try to flow his own energy into the hilt. Trying to match the energy patterns. The crystal shined a bit as he heard a voice. It was telling him to leave it alone. He tried working with it a bit more but after the voice asked to be left alone, the hilt seemed to not react again. He tried for months but slowly the Hilt began opening up again. Asking him why he made the crystal. And this gave the scientist a pause. He had honestly done this just to see If he could indeed make a living weapon.
  20.
  21. The hilt didn't seem to happy with that answer but it asked why he needed a living weapon. He answered rather quickly. “Because, I wish to see you grow , why make life with out the goal of seeing it grow?” with that answer and question the hilt seemed to be quite. He felt the energy in Blade seemed to become more calm. “I wish to grow but I don't fully trust your intent, but if I can live and grow. . Then I will bond with you” the hilt said as he felt he could focus his own energy into it. Once he was able to he found he could form the blade to the hilt. As he held the sword he could feel the energy the crystal generated flow into himself. “Amazing” he said softly as he began wondering just what test he could put the weapon through to aid in it's growth.
