- [17:41] Again with a strike to blow the wind out of him the spar was over. He fell to the ground again the same outcome yet the means were different and satisfactory. He would rub his superficial wound as if trying to sho it away.
- That's going to leave a mark
- As he got up and then started laughing.
- "Well that's the best sparring match I had for sometime now."
- Looking at Revan he would notice the guy had calmed down a little possibly because he was too focused on the spar.
- "Listen.."
- He started.
- "We both know what you did was for the guild, you were right to go and find information about the enemy but.."
- He sighed, he hated doing this. He wasn't particularly a people person and it was not something that he had hidden from the rest of the guild.
- "You should tell us before doing these things we worry you know and I can't imagine why Fenes is angry aboutthis no matter how many times I hear it I don't see a problem with this except for the fact you didn't tell someone that you were doing that sort of thing."
- He would pause trying to collect his thought.
- "Well I also believe Fenes is right too we can't attack their headquarters with just the guilds alone. Well that's my opinion on this."
- He nodded, hopefully he listened.
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:41] Fenes says, "Good to see you, yes..."
- [17:42] Lilith Allison says, "Be back soon"
- [17:42] Fenes says, "...Okay."
- [17:47] Banri Chuuni says, "Welcome back."
- [17:53] As soon a he was asked to listen, the scowl would return to Revan's visage. Raising a hand, it was a gesture as if to say 'don't bother.' Yet, he would go on, and the Task would atleast pay him the respect to hear him out.
- Hans seemed to have a relatively neutral approach to the matter, thankful for the information, though still seeing Fenes' point of him going off on his own to do so.
- He would be quiet, letting it absorb into his thick skull- but damn if it wasn't thicc. He would shake his head in stubborn defiance. "No, if I had said what I wished to do, I would've been stopped." He knew it was true, it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission- but he wouldn't be asking for forgiveness here.
- "I can do things the others can't, if I get your help.. That increases.. Liabilities.. Factors I can't control.. I refuse to be responsible for other's in suchsituations except for myself.. Atleast then.. I will be able to live with the repercussions.. If I can do so, then the rest of you should be able to do so as well." It seemed he still missed the core point that they cared about him, but it was the way he felt about them they he felt he had to keep them at an arms distance.
- He would be too focused on Hans before him to realize the rest of the guild that had walked in at some point- atleast until he turned around to find Ezekiel.
- "Oh." Guess that's out in the open now.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:54] Fenes says, "..."
- [17:55] Fenes says, "Since you're too stubborn- not steadfast- stubborn. Let me at least give you advice."
- [17:55] Fenes says, "DOn't try to talk to witches."
- [17:55] Fenes says, "They'll use dark magic- Hex you to mess with your mind."
- [17:56] Fenes says, "Make you do their bidding."
- [17:56] Fenes says, "...Do remember we care about you. And not telling us about what you're doing and then going into such dangerous situations only makes us worry."
- [17:57] Fenes says, "You wouldn't be protecting us. But Hurting us."
- [17:57] Fenes says, "That's all."
- [17:57] Fenes says, "If you somehow praise demons enough taht they're willing to talk to you, as long as you don't do an y deals with them, fine, get your information."
- [17:57] Revan Task says, "You wouldn't have been hurt if you hadn't arrived and intervened."
- [17:58] Fenes says, "..."
- [17:58] Revan Task says, "I had the situation.. Under control."
- [17:58] Lilith Allison says, "That's not the point though"
- [17:58] Banri Chuuni says, "Although in my opinion what more information do you even need? They hurt people and eat their souls."
- [17:58] Fenes says, "Their location, that's about it."
- [17:59] Revan Task says, "Names, location, the magics they specifically posess."
- [17:59] Hans Hohenstein says, "The information he gathered was important, there are four demons and two witches controlling them and their names"
- [17:59] Revan Task says, "The things we need to /counter/ them."
- [17:59] Fenes says, "But with you talking with them and acting so budd ybuddy iwth them, I feel you might get ... corrupted... if you're too much in their presence, in some way or another."
- [17:59] Revan Task says, "And there it is."
- [17:59] Fenes says, "Worries, yes."
- [17:59] Revan Task says, "You have no faith in me."
- [17:59] Banri Chuuni says, "He's too stubborn to turn that easily without a hex, Fenes."
- [18:00] Fenes says, "Because you don't tell us anything."
- [18:00] Lilith Allison says, "You have no faith in us"
- [18:00] Fenes says, "And you have no faith in u- what Lily said"
- [18:00] Revan Task says, "I know what each of us are capable of."
- [18:00] Revan Task says, "The things I've been doing are things I know no one else in the guild will be willing to do."
- [18:01] Revan Task says, "Consorting with those who hide in the shadows."
- [18:01] Hans sighs
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:02] Banri Chuuni says, "You still could have one of us tag along as insurance."
- [18:02] Hans Hohenstein says, "You don't get it Revan, you can do what you like but at least tell us so when you are in need we can help"
- [18:02] Fenes says, "Or at least if we come accross you buddying up with a demon"
- [18:02] Fenes says, "We wouldn't intervene since we know what you're doing."
- [18:03] Fenes says, "I am sitll upset you pretty much prevented me from cutting it down there and there, for how young it was."
- [18:03] Fenes says, "But Fine. Do what you want."
- [18:03] Revan Task says, "It's not like it was exactly /planned/ I simply saw an opportunity, and I took it."
- [18:03] Hans Hohenstein asks, "So it was a chance encounter?"
- [18:03] Revan Task says, "It was- I happened to be in the swamps gathering mushrooms, and cutting trees."
- [18:03] Revan Task says, "as for not cutting it down, he is my lead."
- [18:04] Revan Task says, "He is more valuable alive so long as he remains cooperable."
- [18:04] Revan Task says, "When his use withers, I will slay him."
- [18:04] Fenes says, "...And if he's hungry when you stumble accross him next? It's still a demon."
- [18:04] Lilith Allison asks, "What makes you... Trust a demon?"
- [18:04] Fenes asks, "Will you jsut offer him some innocent on the road?"
- [18:04] Lilith Allison says, "They kill, and are inherently evil by nature"
- [18:07] Fenes says, "...Don't let yourself.. get corrupted, Rev."
- [18:07] Hans would think for a bit, a chance encounter with a demon and it told him almost everything.. almost
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:07] Hans Hohenstein asks, "That was pretty forthcoming of the demon, did you fight it by anychance Revan?"
- [18:08] Fenes says, "Even if you're stubborn, a hex would still be a hex... Run if you see any other demon or even something looking like a witch.."
- [18:08] Fenes says, "He didn't fight it, no"
- [18:09] Revan Task says, ".. If we are going to continue this conversation.. I would like it to either be in the guild hall.. Or my room."
- [18:09] Hans Hohenstein says, "Alright, lets go to the hall then"
- [18:09] Fenes says, "...Ezekiel is on the right there."
- [18:09] Fenes says, "If you want to bring him in."
- [18:09] Revan Task says, "No."
- [18:09] Fenes says, "Hm. Fine."
- [18:09] Revan Task says, "I want what I say next to be private."
- [18:09] Fenes says, "Right."
- [18:09] Fenes says, "The Room is best then. more private."
- [18:32] Revan always tried to carry himself with pride, standing tall as best he could no matter what injuries. Though when Fenes asked him if next time he saw the creature if he'd feed him an innocent, his gaze would waver. As they walked to his room, he would constantly be cracking each knuckle of his with his thumb, a nervous tick.
- Locking the door behind him, he would move behind the bar, something to keep between him and them. He would be silently as he gathered his thoughts, placing both hands on the countertop as he thought.
- ".. I have.. Said before.. I am not a good person.. You have seen me do good things.. But that does not mean I am.. Inherently good." It was probably the worst possible way to start this conversation off, but it had to be said.
- "I am.. My father's son.. In his day.. He was known as the Clown Prince.. A title many would shrug off.. Not think much of.. However.. He wasn't just a clown.. He was a Ring Leader. And his circus? Was the criminal underground."
- He would let the words float in the air. "Lying, stealing, cheating, manipulating are in my blood... And.. They are things I'm good at." It was a large confession, one he struggled to reveal, but it didn't end there as his knuckles went white, gripping the bar.
- "I like hurting others. I like being hurt. When I proposed the alliance with the Boogeymen, and Fingar said we would be used, I wasn't phased.. Didn't any of you wonder why?" He would ask looking around the room, studying each of their faces and reactions.
- "It's because I'm more confidant in my ability to use them than they are to use us. The Shepherds? Don't you remember how against them I was initially Lilly? And then suddenly I changed my tune? It's because I wanted their loyalty I wanted their numbers, and them to be indebted to us- so I could groom them. Groom them into a power I could use." The air was heavy with all the words Revan shared, though throughout it all, he never mentioned how he used this guild. He would take a deep breath, hanging his head.
- "I.. I told my mentor.. Why I.. Why I enjoyed.. Being with you all.. And.. he told me it was Innocence.. Something I never had growing up.. Something I never experienced.. It.. Was something I cherished.. About each of you.. I.. Just wanted to.. Keep that.. For myself.. To keep you all from that.." Tears would drop onto the counter, he may have lost all of their trust, any faith they did have in him, or care they held for him. However, he couldn't let this continue anymore. He couldn't continue hurting them because of what he felt he had to do on his own.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:45] Fenes's blood would freeze as she sat there, listening to Revan. The monologue he was giving was already not something she liked hearing- Son of a complete criminal, he was already not someone 'good' as people could say. Fenes would look towards Revan silently- still listening as her ears were flat atop her head.
- Most of what he said was pertaining to his father, but as soon as he started to talk about himself- as soon as he started to talk about what he was good at, what he.. enjoyed doing. Her eyes would tear up. He enjoyed hurting others...? She looked away. Was Revan really someone that bad? What she heard next would start to point towards it. Revan was using them, wasn't he? He planned to use anyone that would ever be friendly to them. Her heart ached. She didn't want to let him make any decisions of the sort.
- "The Shepherds.. We could have been on friendly terms with them.. Why do you just want to use them... Why are you...", she rubbed her eyes with her sleeve, even though they kept tearing up.
- The main thing that would make her heart drop was the fact that Revan enjoyed hurting others. Though not once did he answer her question- what he had asked him about feeding the demon an innocent.
- Her gaze became intense, a frown on her face, as through the tears, she looked at him to ask him again.
- "Would you... feed an innocent to a demon... A Demon.. to get to what you want, Revan?"
- The question lingered in the air, as she basically ignored the final part of his speech, seemingly thinking it was just one of his ruses to try to manipulate them now. She felt betrayed. Angry. Disappointed.
- "YOu could have kept it.. if you just let us help you and abandoned that part of you.."
- (Fenes)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:48] Hans did hear about Dun being a clown, or rather overheard from others, but he didn't realize they were a criminal organization. Or the very least used to be. Revan's story made him think of his own past when he was in the streets, living by scrapes but even so never stole.
- When the guild was formed he felt it was some sort of divine intervention as the boy who had nothing now had a family to call his own. It was difficult to adjust but everyone respected his discretion. He thought he knew everyone but now that Revan has opened himself like a book he felt he knew nothing.
- He would remain silent, not showing- no incapable of showing what he felt. it was conflicted as all he could see is not a boy who is a criminal mastermind but rather someone who is pushed into doing things just for a little praise and a pat on the back.
- He would look down towards the table, thinking like always until Fenes broke the silence.
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:48] Banri followed along relatively silent. His hands inside of his pockets as he did so. This felt like another event where everyone would tell Revan not to be so reckless with himself. Which was a thing to worry about for a multitude of reasons really.
- "So what if you aren't good?.. I can name flaws in literally everyone I care about. That doesn't make me worry any less about them.", the teenager replied folding their arms.
- When told that Revan's dad was.. the clown prince, the Chuuni looked like he finally understood why Valero had a clown nose. He thought he was just being weird, but it seemed to have that bloodline importance to it, huh?
- As the boy went on about his blood, the teen could only frown a little. Everyone seemed obsessed with their familial trees. Did the blood coursing in your veins really matter that much? Weren't you still your own person? He'd stay silent expecting one of the others to speak up here.
- At the mention of using or potentiall using the demons however, the Mage couldn't hold their tongue for long. "Demons are known for being manipulators as a species. It's not just a bloodline thing. Are you sure you can really go up against something like that? When does confidence become plain arrogance? You could be biting off more than you can chew here."
- "-And if it makes you feel better, I'm not innocent at all. I scarred a girl when I was young and ruined her entire life. I've grown used to the sight of dead bodies to the point I halfway shrug it off only being interested initially in an effort to see if it's someone I know.",
- At the sight of tears, Banri would turn his eyes away. "Stop crying.", he'd say flatly.
- (Banri Chuuni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:53] Lilith would listen, looking at Revan, examining his reactions and his body language. She wanted to know exactly what Revan hasn't told her, wanted to know what else he's been hiding from the guild, and wanted to know why he does these things.
- Listening to Revan talk about crime, his pride, and his belief that doing all these bad things are in his blood hurt Lilith. She tried her best to maintain her composure, her happy demeanor, and her anger. A mix of emotions would swirl inside her as she listened. She already told him, tried her best every single time to show him that he is not his father, that he is not as bad as he thinks he is.
- Tears started to stream down her eyes as she continued to listen. Why does he feel the need to do these things? For what reason does he need to get the alliance and control of other guilds?
- "What else have you been hiding from us? Why join the guild in the first place? We don't need power... We don't need to use other guilds... This was an adventuring guild right?" Her voice would quiver as she said those last words, remembering how the guild was first founded in the old factory.
- "You're lying to yourself when you say you like to hurt others. I refuse to believe that's true. I refuse to believe that you're as bad as you pain yourself to be." Lilith would grip her hands tightly, her fingers would slowly shift to claws, drawing blood on her palms.
- "You're your own person. No one is born with bad blood. It was your choice, and it's still your choice to show us that you still trust us. Do you still trust us? The guild?" She would pause, before asking with tears still in her eyes.
- "What is the guild to you anyways?"
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:56] Alessia thought they were having a party, the tea party that they all were talking about all these weeks.
- The young Exarion took a seat at the left of Hans. She glances at him and smiles, but suddenly her attention was caught by the words of the Task.
- The girl did not know about his past nor she knew what he was talking about, but something was in her heart, some words, that begins to raised from her chest towards her mouth.
- "I don't know your Father and certainly don't care what you did before or why you did it." Alessia stops and gave him a bright smile.
- "It does not matter...what I know is I don't think you are a bad person, you helped Fenes, you helped me...someone bad wouldn't do that." She said and place both hands over the table.
- The girl begins to remember her own family. "Perhaps, those kinds of stuff are inside your blood, so what? Revan...what does it matter? when did the blood matter so much? blood, family...why does it matter? Family is not just blood...you are more than just blood." tears fell from her eyes, thinking about the situation with Fenes and leave.
- "Is there are those bad things inside you...I'm sure there is a lot of good things too, you are not bad."
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:26] Why did he feel the need to say all of the things he did? What was his end goal? He didn't even know himself, he didn't know what he expected to gain from this. Did he want them to leave him alone, to let him operate in the guild as the rogue agent he was? Did he want them to push him away so he could be the monster he painted himself as, or did he want them to convince him he wasn't?
- Fenes was the first to speak, the anger and betrayal clear in her tone, her ever expressive ears telling all. With her question, he head would almost bob in a nod, but instead he had to caveat it. "If.. If the demon had more to offer me than the individual.. Yes.."
- It was cutthroat, self serving, just as he was raised. He spent day after day, attacking his own brothers, shedding senseless blood all in the pursuit of power. Someone he didn't know was nothing to him.
- Going across the room, he would see that Hans looked conflicted, without a doubt he had many thoughts he struggled to express. His attention turning to Banri, they had just connected the other night, finding similarities in one another and finally starting a true friendship. Revan was surprised to hear him try to comfort him, saying he wasn't innocent either, sharing how he scarred a girl.
- "When.. I.. Said that we should go.. After Fenes arrived.. He was disappointed.. I think his exact response was shame... I.. Think I made an impression on him.." Though hearing the hurt in Lilly's voice was truly the most painful. He would find himself immediately shaking his head.
- "There.. Is nothing else.. This is it.. Only the plans I had in the works.. The Shepherds can still be friends.. And I believe we should consider the defense pact with The Boogeymen.."
- Why join the guild.
- It was something he wasn't entirely sure of- he had truly just.. Stumbled into it, if he was being honest with himself. Every day he spent with them, he felt less and less like himself, sometimes it felt like a mask.. And othertimes.. It felt like if he had been hiding parts of himself. When asked if he still trusted them, the guild, he would nod again.
- "O-of course.. I.. Would not.. be sharing this if I didn't.. Showing.. The darkest parts of how my mind work.." Though it was with the last question she asked he found himself staggered. What is the guild to you anyways?
- "The guild.. All of you.. Are.. My Pride.. And My Joy.. You are.. All what give me happiness.. You are my sanctuary from.. My biological family.. You are.. My true family.. And I.. Cherish each and every one of you.. I don't want to see any of you hurt.. I want.. To preserve your innocence.. And I will do whatever that may take." Even if it was feeding an innocent to a Demon.
- He would listen to Alessia, her sweet words as she tried to ease his worries of his bloodline, how there was bad and good in him, and all he would simply say is. "I.. Know I am not good.. But.. I don't think.. I am evil either.. I think I.. Simply am."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:37] "Simply dumb.", Banri replied rather bluntly to the Task's last bit, "It should be more than obvious that the feelings you hold towards the guild are being reciprocated back onto you in full. Even someone as dense as me can see it. Everyone here would feel your pain as their own. If you were to get hurt or worse, they might never fully recover... You'd leave a scar on everyone."
- "I don't think we're entirely against you acting like this, but we should be informaed of your plan start to finish before you decide to act..", the Chuuni added with something of a pause, "Did we not talk about how important talking and having a counsel was? How it was literally nothing but beneficial? The only reason I think you wouldn't share is because you either don't trust us or value our thoughts to the same level as your own."
- A snall sigh left the boy's lips before he'd say, "Don't do something like that again. Especially since you're the most medically trained out of all of us. You can heal everyone if they get hurt, but who's supposed to fix you?"
- (Banri Chuuni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:44] The Ookami's eyes would go wide as Revan would answer the question finally. He heart would break when she heard that. Her eyes would water once again, she stood up, hands on the table, trying really hard to not get any more angry at him. She would take a deep breath, but her voice was shaky.
- "Don't.. do that... Revan. We.. We're talking about Demons, not other people looking to make better business arrangements... Please. They're... Demons.
- Don't. Do. This."
- She didn't understand why the bandaged teen would do something like this, some criminal organization trying to gain profit would still hurt her, but they're talking about feeding Demons for just some info. The thought would be disgusting to Fenes. "Don't feed Demons.. They'll grow stronger and use you. Why do you even THINK you can use a demon or trust one like that?"
- Her claws would start to dig into the tablein front of her As her Jade eyes would still be staring right at Revan. Why would she be believing him here? He might just be trying to use them again. What he thought would be preserving their 'innocence' would only hurt them more. Feeding an innocent to a Demon? That would not preserve anything. That would only paint one of the Dragon tooth's members as a cold blooded murderer, and hurt the guild and their family itself.
- "You.. are our friend, Revan. But there is nothing to 'preserve' us from. And when you say you will do whatever it takes, after what you just answered, it only makes me sick. If you feed an innocent to A demon, I will have to stop you." the air around her started to grow a sickly green as she kept staring at him.
- "Your actions.. would only hurt us. emotionally. put a target on us by anyone else in the world, some others will know at some point you're buddying with Demons. What are you thinking? We tried... SO many times. So many, many times to tell you we can help you, to tell you you can help us, without the need of such.. horrible dealings."
- Her claws kept digging into the wood, the air around her still Bubbling and waving in sickly green energy.
- She grit her teeth, sitting back down, tears flowing freely from her face, the aura around her still present.
- "...Whatever... Do whatever you want. You don't really care about us anyway. You just want to use us. Since you even are ready to feed someone to a demon. If he was hungry, the bat one, I'm guessing you would have fed me to him just to have your stupid info. Why the fuck do you think this guild is supposed to be adventuring , question? Then you bring that kind of shit around?
- I don't want this to become like your father's criminal organization. So let all of that go. Please. If you truly do care."
- (Fenes)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:46] Alessia listens to all Revan answers especially the one that he replied to Lily and her, she joins both hands in front of her like she was praying, some tear fall, still, from her eyes.
- "I know it's hard...but if we..." She stops and looks towards Fenes and then passed her eyes between the other, to afterward glances back to the bandaged boy. "If you considered us as your Family, then I know I can really trust you.
- You just have a paradigm of yourself that is not true...maybe you are not good or bad...I don't think people are simple, we are all complicated." Alessia said and looks with warms and kind smile, her eyes shone with light from the sky, they could be seen like two gems, two sapphires.
- "Please, even if you don't want to be with us, Please Revan, be our Cloud, be the aloft, the one that protects the family from an independent standpoint, use your ability for the good, for the people you love." The girl said with a calm tone, full of hope her eyes stares at Revan...like children that were looking at their hero.
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:47] Fenes says, "Fuck Cloud."
- [19:48] It would be hard to listen to Revan's words after everything he's said. Especially when she heard that he would sacrifice someone if the demon had more to offer. It reminded her all too well of Valero, and other occultists that she had met. If Revan was willing to sacrifice someone, then she was afraid Revan would in order to get the power he needs to protect others.
- "We don't need a Demons help... But if what you say is true, and you would sacrifice someone in order to get something you want, then you're no better than the witches and the murderers of Esshar."
- It was hard for her to say that, painful to such things to Revan. But she was afraid that if he does have the will to do such a terrible thing, then he would do it for what he thinks is right.
- "We feel the same way you feel about the guild... We don't want to see you hurt, we don't want to see you corrupted, and we want to work together with you... We make decisions together, as a group! That's to make sure that we cover each others backs, to remind each other about the dangers, consequences, and alternative opportunities."
- It was hard to smile, to show that hope in this situation. But she would look at Revan, tears still down her eyes, and would smile.
- "Can you please... Please... Please Trust us, tell us, and work with us... We're a group, a guild, and a family... So I'm begging you. Talk with us and stop hiding things from us, don't do things by yourself anymore..."
- As she said those last words she would turn away, unable to look at the bandaged face no more. Hiding scars, wounds, and pain. She can only hope that Revan would trust the guild, and take off tough mask that he shows everyone.
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:48] Alessia wasn't talking about Cloud her brother she was literally talking about clouds.
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:49] Hans considers that both Lilith and Fenes are doing a better job than he could about persuading Revan, so he remained silent
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:17] Banri would be the first to speak this time, verbally slapping him by calling him dumb. Normally it was something that would cause Revan to put up his defenses, to shut people out, but he was laying everything bare now. Which meant it was a slap that would hurt more than ever, though it was one much needed as he listened to the Chuuni.
- "W-we did talk.. Yes.. I.. That's.. That's why I brought you all here.. Why I couldn't talk in the Dojo.. I.. Wanted to lay my sins bare.. I didn't want.. I didn't want to lie.. or hide anymore of who I was.. Who I truly am.. You all.. You bring out the best in me.. Something I never saw before.. It was eating away at me.. These... Two sides.. I want to be better.. I want to do right by you all.." More tears would stream down his face, soaking his bandages.
- He would turn his attention to Fenes, pleading for him not to feed a Demon if the choice had come to him. "One life.. For the guild.. Is a worthy enough sacrifice to me.. I know that we can not live with demons.. So it would just be a betrayal down the road.. Killing it before it could grow too strong.. But.." He would explain further how he cold mind worked, demonic in it's own right. ".. I.. Don't want to hurt you.. I don't want you to be sickened by me.."
- He would find her next words especially gutting, not even having a response for her.. Only a pained expression. Though even after all he confessed, the dark intentions he had, and what he was willing to do for them, Alessia and Lilly would still give him those bright smiles. His chest still felt hollow, though they filled him with some hope this could be turned around, that he could heal past this.
- "That's.. All I wanted to do.. I wanted to help from the shadows.. Out of your gaze as I pulled the invisible strings to make things happen so.. No one like Fingar would be hurt.. So we couldgo on those Adventures.. And we could.. All just.. Be happy.."
- Revan was sick, and his view of the world was twisted, he truly believed what he was doing was necessary for him to keep the guild how it was. Being compared to witches and murderers by Lilly, the one he cared for most deeply, the one who ignited such a change within him, he would find himself breaking down. His jaw quivering as he shook his head, either in disbelief or refutation he was anything like them.
- It all came back to the same concept, trust. Revan had thought he was trusting them, but in truth, he didn't know what it meant, not truly. Piece by piece he revealed facets of himself, but now they were getting the whole picture, how truly scarred he was beneath those bandages, scars that went well into his heart.
- "I-I will.. Try.. But.. I'm.. Not sure.. if I know how.. If.. Talking is.. What you wish me to do.. Then I will talk.. More.." He'd say with a sniff, wiping at his eyes. If they wanted trust, he would express it the only way he knew how.
- Reach for the bandages around his head, he would untuck it, beginning to unwrap it slowly as he'd show his face to those present in the room.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:26] Fenes would cross her arms. her claws digging into her jacket for a moment as she heard Revan say that one life 'for the guild' would be a necessary sacrifice for him. She snarled. She actually had a snarl directed towards Revan.
- But no other words would come form her for quite a while, trying to dry her tears as her eyes were fixated on the table in front of her. Nothing wass going through to him. Even when scolding him. She closed her eyes as he'd say that he would at least try, she let out a simple sigh.
- "We help each other. We don't hide things from each other. That's not the point of a friendly guild. We try to talk with everyone. To Understand.. Why am I even trying again?"
- She fell into silence, not wanting to participate in this anymore, her heart aching enough as it is.
- (Fenes)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] Banri listened to everything Revan had to say about being a puppeteer in the shadows for them. A small smile coming to the Mage's face before he'd reply, "If you have to do it alone, then it's not worth it. Your life is just as valuable as any of our own, so if we're facing this threat we're all going to face it together."
- "..You said we weren't going to compete anymore right?", the boy would ask folding his hands together, "That we'd fight side by side?.. Then you should act like it instead of just going rogue like this. -I am glad you're talking to us though. That's the smartest decision you seemed to have made all day."
- "As for Fingar, I did some training with him earlier.. Through practice we can all get stronger and pull our collective weights. If one person bears it all they'll surely break, but together we're strong."
- (Banri Chuuni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:30] "We can help you Revan..." The girl said and then wipes her eyes.
- She would let the other speakers as she agreed with most of them, Alessia offers the option to be a cloud, in case that the Task doesn't want to be with them all the time.
- "Just lets us help." Alessia keeps her hands together and looks towards Revan with a kind smile, shifting her eyes between the other went the express their emotion.
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:34] "Enough..."
- Hans finally spoke, he didn't know what think of all this all he was seeing was a guy whipping himself for things he thought he did but didn't do. It was pretty painful to watch specially when everyone was pointing fingers at him. He finally understood Revan's motivation but truly didn't know if what to make of all of this.
- "Revan, you don't have to hurt yourself I understand what you did is for us but all I wanted was to be honest with us. You don't have to open yourself bare like that and you may not believe it but I believe you won't let anyone get hurt by demons over some intel."
- Hans sighed, this conversation turned from confession to pleading.
- "You may not know but everyone has scars from their past, I am not going to judge you by what your past is. To be honest I don't even care what your past is all I know is that you are our friend and I am hoping you would do right by us by not hiding anything you do."
- Hans couldn't stand Revan cry like that.
- "That's all I ever wanted."
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:36] Listening to Revan, hearing about how he would sacrifice someone in order to help the guild, was painful. She didn't want Revan to become a murderer, to become corrupted for what he believes is good. It isn't what she wanted, even if it was for the guild.
- She would stand up, her hands transformed into claws and digging into the table. She would look at Revan, her eyes soft, but inside there is an anger boiling inside her.
- "There will NEVER come a time where we would kill someone for 'the guild'."
- It was a stupid idea, killing someone innocent for the guild? That's nothing but murder, and an excuse to do as one pleases. She would then sit down, relaxing before she continued
- "We're guildmates, friends, and a family. However, we won't kill innocent people for 'the guild'."
- Her hands would shift back, and she would fix her gaze on Revan.
- "I'm... Happy you shared this with us... Promise me you won't do anything like that, and instead work with us..."
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:37] The young Exarion's pupils widen, her heart beat faster as she saw Revan taking out his bandage for the first time.
- The girl was speechless, what ? what di he was covering his face all this time? He had just some scars, her face was not enough damaged to have the shame of it.
- And even if they were a lot of scares, he shouldn't be ashamed of them..." Revan, Thank you for your trust."
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:52] He would stand there, letting them take in what he had hidden from so many for so long. Not just his emotions, the way his mind worked, the aspirations he had and what he was willing to do to achieve them, but he would finally leave the comforts of his bandages behind.
- His nose had clearly been broken once or twice, and the only real discernible scar was a crescent shape below his right eyes.
- Though he was chastised by both Fenes and Lilith for how far he was willing to go from the guild, he was still met with a lot of care and support. All of it he felt very unworthy of receiving, he expected the anger, the hurt, he expected them to drag him out of this room, or exile him from the guild.
- But no, there was only acceptance of the good in him, and a wish for him to do better. He would slam his hands and forehead against the bar, bowing as best he could in this situation as he'd plead for their forgiveness.
- "I am sorry for hiding all of this from you.. I had no intention of ever using or harming any of you.. I truly.. Just wanted to protect everyone.. And those smiles that.. Stirred the good within me.. I promise.. I'll be better.. I won't be so carless with the lives of others.. And I'll try my best to conduct myself in a way that would make all of your proud."
- There would be a puddle beginning to form, he hadn't cried this much in.. Ever.
- "I.. Still wish to.. Gather intel.. And Build connections in the crime underbelly.. If you all would let me.. If I find myself able, I will inform you of my leads before pursuing them.. And.. I would like it if Banri accompanied me on.. Such missions.. I.. I really do think this is another way I could help our guild.. But now.. I will not be so.. Heartless.. About how I do so.. I'll only manipulate those that are wicked- and deserving.. If you all.. Would trust me with such a duty."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:59] The Ookami's ears would perk up at Revan's next words, her eyes were still red from all the tears shed, but still she finally would turn her head towards REvan again, actually taking his words into account. She had a small frown on her face as she seemed to assess what he was telling them- Hoping that those words, those apologies were true.
- Hoping that those promises were true. using his talent- lying and deceiving, against those that he deems wicked. The small Ookami would still have her arms crossed for a minute or so, staring at REvan before she speaks up.
- "It is up to Banri if he accepts to accompany you on such missions. But I will trust you.. for now. For all that you have done and said- before or now- I probably shouldn't.. But I am willing to trust you, because you are my friends.. A very close friend, one that I helped. and one that helped and supported me as well.. So I will trust you here, for now...I only wish those promises and apologies you made ring true.. Please, REvan."
- She let a single smile appear on her face- for a few seconds, before it disappeared.
- "I want us to stay together, and strong."
- (Fenes)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] Listening to Fenes' decision Hans would nod agreeing to let Banri accompany Revan in his dangerous expedition. He didn't fathom the amount of power demons had but he knew they were a threat. Fingar was already attacked and others could be next. The only thing he could wonder is how long will it take for people to perceive them as a real threat.
- "I agree with Fenes on the matter of taking Banri..."
- He voiced his concern in case people didn't understand.
- "The demons maybe young but underestimating them would be a mistake, be careful Revan...."
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] Lilith would calm down, breathe, and take in everything that Revan is saying. She was happy that Revan shared this with everyone, because it was a real good step to better change. She was still worried about his trips and association with criminals, but she trusted him.
- "As long as you're safe, and you'll actually come talk to us before you do something dumb... Then I'm happy."
- She would offer Revan a smile, before wiping the rest of her tears away. It was tough for her to sit through this, listening to everything, but she was just glad that nothing drastic happened.
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:07]
- "I just want you two to stay safe and share with us more time where we can be happy." The teen places both hands over the table and looks at Revan.
- Alessia remains in silences for a moment or two. "Just be careful, one can not stay too long in the shadow, without being corrupted. " The Exarion said with a calm tone in her voice and a serious face.
- "Please know this, you are not alone anymore...I trust you."
- (Alessia Exarion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:07] Banri silently listened with his gaze set away from the crying boy.. The sight of other's crying actually made him feel an overwhelming sense of discomfort though he wouldn't say more about it than he did earlier to the Task. Obviously he couldn't control it, and it couldn't be helped.
- "If it stops you from doing something stupid then yeah.", the Chuuni replied folding his arms across his chest, "Though at the first sign of danger I'm getting us out of there with or without your permission."
- I don't want to feel guilty over the livelihood of a friend ever again. "You need a lot of power when dealing with scum anyways.", the teenager added when the thought occured to them, "So I'll be a great asset even if I don't speak."
- (Banri Chuuni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:17] Kiri Cypher says, "omg you can knock from the inside XD"
- [21:20] Picking his head up, he would listen to each and every member of the guild, his family, and the people he treasured more than anything in this world. He knows that today he hurt them, sharing every facet and scar of his, leaving himself an open, and disgusting wound for all to see.
- However, there was still love in everyone's heart for him, expressed in their words and concerns, all of which he would take to heart. It would take some time to rebuild all of their trust, to get back to how things were.. He had shown them who he was, and it would take time and effort to show them he was making the strides to be better.
- Finally he would wear that smile, his eyes red, his face wet, and he would try to dry his face with the bandages around his neck.
- "I-I... Love.. All of you.."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] Fenes says, "...Right."
- [21:21] Lilith looks around the table, curious if anyone would care to say something
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:21] Fenes rubbed the back of her head, looking aroundd the table as well, she had nothing to add.
- (Fenes)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:21] Fenes says, "....Everything good now, you have made your promise... better not break it..."
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:21] Alessia Exarion says, "We love you."
- [21:22] Fenes says, "Hmm."
- [21:22] Hans Hohenstein says, "Yea, we love you too, man"
- [21:22] Hans gives a thumbs up
- (Hans Hohenstein)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:22] Revan Task says, "I won't... Words have no value unless your actions back them up.. And I intend to do just that."
