Their surroundings suddenly transformed. The sky turned dark and the earth crimson. Countless needle-like spires erupted from the ground, and between them the earth cracked and spurted magma. The tranquil grassland they had walked through had been erased, replaced by a veritable hellscape.

“What?! What’s going on?!” Tomochika frantically looked around. A deep crevice opened in the earth surrounding them, leaving them on an isolated island amid the destruction.

“He moved us or something, didn't he?” Considering how much had changed, it wouldn’t be strange to learn they had been moved. However, Yogiri now viewed forced movement as an attack. If a person tried to involve him in a transition, they would die.

途端 に、 周囲 が 朱 に 染まっ た。 　 空 は 暗く、 大地 は 赤い。 針 の よう な 岩山 が 無数 に 突き出し、 大地 は 裂け て マグマ が 噴き出す。先ほど まで あっ た 草原 は 消え失せ、 地獄 の ごとき 光景 へと 変貌 を 遂げ た の だ。 「え!?　 何 が どう なっ て！」 　 知 千 佳 が きょろきょろ と あたり を 見回し た。 　 深く 巨大 な 裂け目 が 夜霧 たち の 周囲 を 囲ん で い た。 　 気付け ば、 孤島 の よう な 場所 に 取り残さ れ て いる の だ。 「転移 的 な やつ…… じゃ ない よな？」 　 この 状況 から 考えれ ば、 転移 だ として も 不思議 では なかっ た。 　 だが、 今 の 夜霧 は 強制 転移 を 攻撃 と 見 做 し て いる。 転移 に 巻き込も う と し た なら、 それ を 成そ う と し た 者 は 死ぬ はず なの だ。
