  1. 17:23] It's not an easy fight.
  2.
  3. One where the Teraphim's swordsmanship was a threat enough to ensure that the wolf would even find himself falling at some point amidst the fighting- had it not been for constant barrage of psyche tricks and lightning from afar, and the aptitude to keeping him at bay, then perhaps he would simply falter.
  4.
  5. Still, he was the lucky one here.
  6.
  7. Managing to keep Grizzt at bay just long enough to ensure that he would not be cleaved to the point of absolute loss- an exhausting bout, one that had seen Kasimir electrify the Teraphim with the discharge of powerful lightning, enough to push him back for good.
  8.
  9. A huff.
  10.
  11. "--Ain't personal."
  12.
  13. "Just need this."
  14.
  15. But then again.. many other people probably do as well.
  16. (Kasimir Dusan)
  17. [17:34] Grizzt prepared himself.. This wolf smelled of tricks.. Just like every person he fought as of late. Suddenly a wave of illusions took over him, even though he had fought against it so many time. It got no easier to fight.
  18.
  19. His self healing from reversing time and the innate healing from being a teraphim. It was rather hard to bring down Grizzt, but at the same time. He couldn't close the gap, sooner or later he would fall..
  20.
  21. Lightning struck. He'd fall onto the battlefield. Catching himself for a moment before looking to the small wolf.. This would be one he'd remember.. This would also be the last time his time magic failed him..
  22.
  23. "Good bout..Keep, or try to at least." He said before walking off.
  24.
  25. (Grizzt Gordan)
  26.
  27. [17:34] "Speaking of personal..."
  28.
  29. Words preached from the shadows that surrounded the two, enveloped within the everlasting darkness that surrounded the two, perpetuated in the void that always lingers.
  30.
  31. Where there's light, there is darkness.
  32.
  33. No matter how bright a light may shine, in the deepest crevice, hidden away in the furthest corners.
  34.
  35. That was his domain.
  36.
  37. That's where the Monarch of Shadows lived.
  38.
  39. Without offering so much of a word, or even an acknowledgment of showing them his presence. Shadows slowly incased the sole figure. Stretching forward threateningly as it sought for the essence they held.
  40.
  41. Tendrils crawled through the surroundings, creeping at first as the weight of the world dampened their movements. Spectre's lingered about the shadowline, as if waiting on standby to rush the figure at once.
  42.
  43. "Go."
  44.
  45. Once the command was given, all hell broke loose. All aimingtowards the sole figure.
  46.
  47.
  48. (Acheron Erebus)
  49. [17:38] Rifts tore at the scenes, pulling against the fabric of reality as the chaos enused.
  50.
  51. Within the mist of it all, a cork popped off in the distance as sweet liquids poured down a magi's throat.
  52.
  53. He was going all out for this fight.
  54. (Acheron Erebus)
  55. [17:36] It's just as the Teraphim made his way elsewhere..
  56.
  57. It seems another target emerged - this time, however, it would be another challenger. The wolf was quick to leap away from the attack, if only to turn to face with a would-be attacker.
  58.
  59. How quaint..
  60.
  61. ".. hrm."
  62.
  63. "You people just don't give it a rest, do you?"
  64.
  65. Probably not. He wouldn't either.
  66.
  67. With charged lightning, he prepares to defend himself - unwilling to give up the treasure he secured.
  68.
  69. Not so easily, at least.
  70. (Kasimir Dusan)
  71. [18:07] From the depths of the shadows that plagued the forest lied Acheron. The Monarch of Shadows.
  72.
  73. Reality strained against his force as he ripped it asunder, manipulating all vectors to his whim as he charged the magi with a metaphysical onslaughter.
  74.
  75. They'd feel their body being warped against the very fabric of time and space. Shadows thrashed against the surroundings tearing the earth as it left it ravaged due towards the specters' wrath.
  76.
  77. However, all attacks weren't met without retaliation.
  78.
  79. An onslaught of their own metaphysical prowess to combat his own. Driving him back, peeling away his umbral cloak, revealing his flesh to all those nearby.
  80.
  81. "You aren't that bad!"
  82.
  83. Striking golds illuminated within the night sky, growing larger with anticipation towards the peculiar figure that strove so hard to combat against his own metaphysical magics.
  84.
  85. "Come on! Come on! Surely there's more to you!"
  86.
  87. Despite the two battling over the essence of a Nethradin. He took joy in finally meeting a competent foe. One who challenged him, even coming close to bringing them to their knees and finally bring him the taste of defeat.
  88.
  89. The one feeling that he had yet to enjoy.
  90.
  91. However, there was one fatal move in their plans. The one things that drove a gap in strength between the two. A crevice so deep that they couldn't imagine climbing out of or even reaching his level despite taking years to do so. Centuries even.
  92.
  93. They were in the dark, a place that Acheron thrived.
  94.
  95. The night itself enpowered Acheron, fueling him with every passing moment, granting him what others never received. Or even came close to achieving, he was the epitome of shadows. He was the Stigma of the shadows, the Monarch that ruled and remained undefeated as long as time could tell.
  96.
  97. Rifts continued to tear about the arena as the two continued at it, Acheron finally managed to drive Kasimir towards the ground. Slamming them flat on their back as gravity itself dug them deeper and deeper into the ground below. Restraining them as they felt their very core being crushed from the weight of the world itself. All before a light tension of his powers being withdrawn as he walked towards him with a battleworn look.
  98.
  99. "I respect your pride, your prowess, and much, much more." he smirked. "Also the pathetic look of your face in the moonlight's light."
  100.
  101. Laughter erupted as he reached forward towards their ruck sack, peeling forth the essence that he so longed to claim for his own.
  102.
  103. "I look forward to seeing more of you in the future."
  104.
  105. Offering what little words he could give, Acheron turned on his heel as he turned to leave the scene. His frame floating from the ground before soaring towards the sky to return to the previous battlefield. Hoping to catch a glimpse of the war-torn ground.
  106. (Acheron Erebus)
  107. [18:09] Perhaps he should've been prepared better.
  108.
  109. The advantage that Acheron created for himself through the potion might as well had won him the fight, but as much as he was already weakened by fighting the Teraphim, it was already a very, very close call.
  110.
  111. One that Kasimir will not forget.
  112.
  113. Despite the illusions constantly battering his mind and making it very difficult to follow up any lightning attacks, his own do not immediately falter either- a testament to that is found in the fact that the other teen is constantly battered with psyche attacks as well.
  114.
  115. Up to the point of being unable to find himself becoming easily victorious. But..
  116.
  117. The scales tip against the favour of the wolf; little by little he's weakened, and despite his best efforts, it becomes abundantly clear that he's not going to be winning here. Quite on the contrary..
  118.
  119. He'll fall.
  120.
  121. But where the shadows swallow him and the illusions batter him in such manner, his glaring gaze remains focused upon one target in particular and nothing else.
  122.
  123. Acheron Erebus.
  124.
  125. There is all the bestial rage and fury that remains lingering on his heart- whereas he might be victorious, the wolf simply refuses to accept it.
  126.
  127. "Don't you-"
  128.
  129. "- fucking dare put it to use. Or I will kill you."
  130.
  131. The wolf sinks into the shadows- if only to find himself elsewhere; albeit, wounded and in need of a rest.
  132.
  133. "I will be back for this."
  134.
  135. "And I'll rip it away from you."
  136.
  137. "Along with your insolent tongue."
  138.
  139. It is a promise. This time, Acheron had the advantage of fighting Kasimir with potion, all the while wolf was tired.
  140.
  141. Next time?
  142.
  143. Next time will be different.
  144. (Kasimir Dusan)
