I have to get a JOB?

Covet: Tae climbed out of her car , after being at the rehab center for a few hours tonight. Closing the door she walked up to the house and walked inside, heading for the kitchen. Setting her keys on the counter she opened up the fridge and poked about to grab a few things out to make herself a salad.
Alexithymiaa: -Noah had been staanding outside on the balcony smoking a joint, a little rattled from his conversation he had earlier with his parents. Leaning his forearms on the railing, he stared out across the backyard, exhaling a stream of smoke from his lips.-
Covet: Tae stopped what she'd been doing and made her way over to the door to the balcony and saw Noah out there. She stepped outside and gave a wave. "Hey, I'm throwing together some salad, do you want any?" She asked him, "Uh, you alright?"
Alexithymiaa: -He turned when he heard the door open, looking back at her through hazy eyes. "are you putting like.... chicken in it or something?" He asked before turning back to lean on the railing. "Yeah, why?"-
Covet: "Uh, no, but I can?" Tae said to him, then walked over leaning on the railing, "Because this has kind of become your brooding spot." She said then reached over for the joint, "And you look stoned as fuck. How was your weekend?"
Alexithymiaa: "Is not." He retorted, going to protest about her taking his joint, and then he was just instantly too high to care. "Might be stoned as fuck, but this weekend sucked."-
Covet: "Why did it suck?" She asked as she took a drag off of the joint, exhaling a big cloud.
Alexithymiaa: "My parents are pissed at me and all they've done all weekend is just bitch and moan." He said with a roll of his eyes, putting his hand out for the joint. "So much for going to school across the country."-

Covet: "Why are they pissed at you, what did you do? Or what did they find out you did?" She asked him, handing the joint back over to him.
Alexithymiaa: -He took the joint from her and brought it up to his lips, taking a long hit and exhaaling before he started in. "They think I'm wasting their money. Like... what did you give me a credit card for if it wasn't to use it?" He asked with attitude, starting to mimic his mother's voice. "That's for groceries and school supplies, not video games and alcohol." He shook his head, bringing the joint to his lips agaian.-
Covet: "I mean.. They kind of have a point." Tae told him. "At least you were given a credit card. I had my phone taken away and more or less kicked out." She told him, even though she'd kind of ran off rather than be kicked out.
Alexithymiaa: "I guess. It's just stupid. Like how else am I supposed to survive out here all by myself?" He asked rhetorically because he didnt want yet another person telling him to get a job.-
Covet: "Start making money." She told him. Which was different then telling him to get a job. "You're good at things, make what you're good at make money for you."
Alexithymiaa: -He paused, his high brain not really going to be doing him any favors on this one. "You think I should be a prostitute?"-
Covet: "No, I don't suggest that at all, especially because I'm pretty sure Drew might still have a hand in all of that." She said softly, "I was thinking of stuff my brother used to do when he needed to make money for things he wanted, He used to do custom artwork for people. Now I'm not saying you need to be able to draw, but what are things you're good at, that you can make money on?"
Alexithymiaa: -He sort of just stood there staring off into space, the joint dangling from his fingers with a completely dumbfound look on his face. "Uhhhh.... I'm good at hockey. And.... Call of Duty. And uhh.... skateboarding...."-
Covet: "So then why not look into some gaming competitions or something to do with skateboarding?" Tae told him reaching out for the joint again. "I'm sure there's gaming competitions at least. In fact... since Adam works there, they might have some info on them at the comic shop. Just saying." She took a drag off the joint.
Alexithymiaa: -He scoffed loudly, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, because he really wants to help ME out. Good one." Rocking back on his heels he tipped his head up to look at the sky, just staring at the stars.-
Covet: "I'm sure he wouldn't point you in the wrong direction. He might not like it, but he'd still help you out, because he's a good guy." Tae told him. "Even though you don't want to believe it."
Alexithymiaa: "He might help me out if you asked him to." He said, only half agreeing with her because he was sticking to his guns about Adam, at least for now.-
Covet: Tae rolled her eyes. "I'm pretty sure your parents didn't tell you to get someone else to find work for you. But what do I know." She said. "Or are you afraid to ask Adam because then you'll have to admit that I'm right?"
Alexithymiaa: "They don't care how I make money as long as I don't keep spending theirs." He spoke quickly, which was a complete lie because his dad wants him to have a JOB. "I'm not afraid to ask him. I just don't want to. He's more likely to help if you ask."-
Covet: "Well, I'm not the one who games or needs the money, sooooo... Unless you're going to do it... I'm not. I'll hold your hand if you need me to thought." She said to him sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Shut up." He shot back with a laugh, shrugging it off. "I'll figure it out, but until then you should totally give me rides if I need to go somewhere far."-
Covet: "Fine, but I'm going to follow the old rule of Cash, Grass or Ass in regards to payment." Tae told him. "So I'll let you decide what the fare is."
Alexithymiaa: "Considering you steal my weed all the time and you're in my bed as much as you're in your own? I think I've got my fare paid for a while."-
Covet: "No, those times don't count, because we just now made that deal." Tae said. " New tally."
Alexithymiaa: "The you owe me." He said, gesturing to the joint she'd stolen from him. "And I'm not opposed to counting from here on out, because I'll still rack up a good fare."-
Covet: "No, that was payment for the ride I'll be giving you in the morning." Tae said with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "I can ride my bike to class in the morning. I usually do. It's places that aren't on campus that kind of suck sometimes. I tried to skate the other day and I almost got hit by a car."-
Covet: "Yeah people around here kind of suck in regards to that." Tae said. "So... what then I owe you a ride at some point then?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, at some point." He nodded, grabbing the railing so he could lean back. "Were you making food?"-
Covet: "I was yeah. But now I'm thinking... I might put the salad back and order us some pizza instead." Tae said. "I'm stoned and I don't want to cook now."
Alexithymiaa: "Yessssssss pizza." He said like it waas a godsend. "Can we get sausage and peppers?" He asked quickly, a little too excited for his own good.-
Covet: "Sausage, peppers and Olives, and Pepperoni" Tae said, As she pulled out her phone to get pizza ordered for them, as she walked inside to put the salad stuffs back in the fridge.
Alexithymiaa: "Fine, but only because olives are easy to pick off. You can eat my olives." He made a face of disgust, turning to follow her into the house.-
