  1. High-Speed Non-Stop Eurobeat Roulette picking Rules
  2. ---------------------------------------------------
  3. -PICKING THE SONGS RULES-
  4. 1. Playlist of all my eurobeat music is scrambled 3 times every draw for a volume.
  5. 2. Playlist is scrambled using RamdonLines.py in Notepad++.
  6. 3. Numbers are drawn from 1 to the number of songs (ie. line number) using random.org.
  7. 4. If a non-stop variant is picked, it's only mixed if it's the longest version I have. In other words, before using a non-stop mix version, I will use...
  8. a. The extended version
  9. b. The "longer" but not quite extended version
  10. c. The 4min edit version
  11. d. The radio edit version (<4min but ends)
  12. e. longer non-stop version (longer than 120s only)
  13. 5. If an alternate version to a song is chosen:
  14. a. If an instrumental version is chosen, the instrumental version will be mixed.
  15. b. If a "Last Version" (or equivalent) is chosen, the extended / longest version I possess will be mixed.
  16. c. If an acapella is chosen, the extended / longest version I possess will be mixed.
  17. d. If a remix is chosen (example: "Boom Boom Fire (Old Generation Remix)"), the remix will be used.
  18. 6. If a song is not lossless, I will try to find a lossless equivalent. If I fail, these lossy formats will be chosen in order:
  19. a. AAC (iTunes)
  20. b. OGG
  21. c. MP3
  22. 7. Song format (extended, 4min edit...) takes precedence over quality. So, if I have an extended in MP3 but a 4min edit in FLAC, the extended in MP3 will be mixed.
  23. 8. Exception to #7: If the difference in length between lossless and lossy is less than 30 seconds, quality takes precedence as long as it's not a non-stop version.
  24. 9. If a vinyl song is picked, this version is only mixed if I don't have a cleaner version.
  25. 10. If by chance the same song was picked in the same or different album or compilation, I re-roll another number until I get a song that wasn't already selected or isn't in cool-down (see rule #11).
  26.
  27. -PICKED SONG RULES-
  28. 11. A song has a cool down of 2 mixes. So, a song cannot be in a mix every 3 mixes. Exemple: Hot Limit by John Desire is used in Vol. 1. It cannot be in Vol. 2 and 3 but can come back in volume 4.
  29. 12. No Italo-Disco or Italo-NRG. If I deem the song Italo-Disco or Italo-NRG, I re-roll.
  30. 13. Originals and remixes, unless the remix is incredibly different from the original, count as the same song.
  31. 14. Shorter cuts from mixes that are less than 2min (120s) are banned because they are most likely won't have much of the song remaining at all.
  32.
  33. -------------------------------------------------------
  34. Artwork picking rules - stock pictures
  35. -------------------------------------------------------
  36. 1. File list of all my stock picture is scrambled 3 times.
  37. 2. File list is scrambled using RamdonLines.py in Notepad++.
  38. 3. Numbers are draw from 1 to the number of songs (ie. line number) using random.org.
  39. 4. Two (2) stock pictures are taken for the artwork.
  40. a. First one is the main cover art, back cover and disc.
  41. b. The second is the inside of the insert.
  42. 5. No harmful/triggering/untasteful content. So the following is banned:
  43. a. Guns/weapons, armored vehicles. Includes knives, swords and people wielding them.
  44. b. Religious signs. Does not include pictures of locations (ex.: a church)
  45. c. Any item related to sex and lingerie (ex.: bdsm stuff, dildos, etc.)
  46. d. Racist, mysogenic, transphobic stuff.
  47. 6. I have used stock pictures in artwork before. If any of the pictures I have used come up, I don't use them and re-roll.
  48.
  49. Changes:
  50. 8/4/2020: Removed Eurobeat Union limitation
