  1. ===Treasury===
  2. The Treasury is the current wealth that the faction owns.
  3.
  4. ===Income===
  5. Income is earned from population and is added to the Treasury each turn. Every 1 million people under your banner adds up 1 to your Income.
  6.
  7. ===Army Recruitment and Combat Value===
  8. Training:
  9. >Recruit (Cost 1, ETA 1 Turn (15 days))
  10. >Average (Cost 2, ETA 2 Turns (30 days))
  11. >Trained (Cost 3, ETA 4 Turns (60 days))
  12. >Veteran (Can not be bought outside special events, divisions who see battle will eventually reach this rank, value of 4)
  13.
  14. Equipment:
  15. >Militia (Cost 1)
  16. >Regular (Cost 2)
  17. >Elite (Cost 3, only accessible with specialized factories)
  18.
  19. As such, a "normal" division is an Average Regular, for which you pay the cost of training and equipment (2 each, so in total 4), and it will arrive in 30 days.
  20.
  21. Their combat value is Training x Equipment, which for them is 2x2=4.
  22.
  23. An army is always limited to a maximum of 5% of the population, going higher would cripple the economy.
  24.
  25. A bit of a reminder. Overwhelming numbers can sometimes win fights, if the enemy has more than twice the amount of men than you, this can lead to a bonus for their dice throw.
  26.
  27. ===Explanation of Officers===
  28. Officers can make or break an army. To simplify, it is a value between 0 and 2 called Command Efficiency (CE) that rates the ability of officers to lead their troops into battle, which is MULTIPLIED during the equation for a battle.
  29.
  30. As an army expands, so does the need for officers. For each new division recruited, you must invest 1 Treasury into the new officers to have an average officer corps at the end (CE of exactly 1).
  31.
  32. Good officers aren't that easy to come by, and true talent comes during rare opportunities, which means that reaching a CE of 2 is hard, if not impossible.
  33.
  34. For example, since you recruited 7 divisions, you need to invest 7 Treasury to meet the demand of new officers. If you spend less, your CE will suffer, as will your battle results.
  35.
  36.
  37. ===Issues===
  38. Issues are the prompts at the start of a turn. They are various paths that the Front can take during the next 15 days, usually involving the management of the state and its wars.
  39.
  40. Military Issues: Related to military campaigns, recruitment of soldiery and officers, training and equipping current units, etc.
  41.
  42. Domestic Issues: Related to all matters of internal organization, city fortification and pacification.
  43.
  44. ===Cities===
  45. Cities are the focal points of a state. They are the main source of Population, each of these grant 1 Income per turn.
  46.
  47. Unhappy cities can riot, making you lose its Income for the duration of the riot. Usually they last 1 turn.
  48.
  49. ===City Pacification===
  50. After taking a city, it has to be Pacified by its Garrison in order to recieve its income. You need one division in it in order to pacify it.
  51.
  52. ===Garrison===
  53. Garrisons will now have to be kept in cities you wish to defend. These are the first, and often last if there's no fortifications, line of defence for cities. Garrisons deal with riots and defend against foreign invasions.
  54.
  55. ===City Fortification and Siege===
  56.
  57. Cities can be fortified for 1 Treasury, which increase the luck factor of troops fighting there by +2 for each level of fortification. A city can only be fortified once per turn up to a maximum of +6 to luck factor.
  58.
  59. Sieged cities lose out one level of fortification per 15 days sieged. In order to siege a city, you must dedicate at least one division to it at all times, or else the siege is broken. Sieging units should watch out for pincer attacks.
