  1. Hey, Dalnet :)
  2.
  3. The user DTC is violating the rules of DAlnet in regards to their behavior towards me. Specifically, DTC is disconnecting me from DalNet:
  4.
  5. "You were killed by DTC (oper-e!staff.dalnet!dtc (Harassment is not tolerated on DALnet. Please see http://www.dal.net/?page=AUP))"
  6.
  7. This was in response to the following posts:
  8.
  9. [16:36] <CrippleThreatPowerquake> Anybody available with an IQ above 140 and mostly free from taboo responses?
  10. [16:37] <CrippleThreatPowerquake> If so, please update <nick> to new syntax: <nick> -> <IQ=value><nick><taboofreeness=value>
  11. [16:38] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> .
  12. [16:39] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> It truncated my second bracket.
  13. [16:39] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> This is the work of atheists.
  14. [16:39] * You were kicked from #religiousdebate by DTC (DTC)
  15.
  16. Followed by:
  17.
  18. [16:41] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> It is incredibly easy to troll people.
  19. [16:41] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> http://pastebin.com/evb9ZRyk
  20. [16:41] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> Here is a Forever Record of DTC's magisterial intellect.
  21. [16:41] <[154IQ]CrippleThreatPowerquake> I will post it in this room, and other rooms, from time to time.
  22. [16:42] * Disconnected
  23.
  24. DTC cited the following page, http://www.dal.net/?page=AUP
  25.
  26. From that page:
  27.
  28. Harassment, as mentioned above, shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Repeated unwanted communication to a user beyond that user's reasonably expected ability to deal with the situation (e.g. /ignore & /silence).
  29.
  30. My comments, in addition to being well within the realm of normalcy in chatrooms on Dalnet, are easily handled by right clicking my name and selecting ignore. DTC, apparently, refuses to do this.
  31.
  32. Is this how you feel Dalnet should be run, or do you agree with that he has merely lose control of his emotions and failed the stated rules of the network?
  33.
  34. Thank you.
