Replicate is a meta based on body style. From the gen IV games and onwards, there was this thing called "body styles". This is seen in the Pokedex capturing event. This meta groups those Pokemon and try and re-incarnate another Pokemon in their body style group. But you know, you can't replicate something without the replica being slightly worse.

I'll refer the Pokemon that is the Pokemon that is replicating into another Pokemon as the 'replica' and the Pokemon that is being replicated as the 'original Pokemon'.


How it will work:

- A Pokemon replicate another Pokemon will gain half the stat difference between the replica and the oroginal Pokemon. If the difference between the replica and the original Pokemon is an odd number, it will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Example:
Metapod can replicate into Onix because they are both in the "Serpentine bodies" category. From this, the changes from Metapod to Onix are: -15HP, +25Atk, +105Def, +5SpA, +20SpD, +40Spe.

Because of this, Metapod in this meta gains / loses:

-7HP, +12Atk, +52Def, +2SpA, +10SpD, +20Spe

After these changes, Metapod's base stats are now: 43/32/107/27/35/50

- How to select the replicate Pokemon and the original Pokemon:

Put the Pokemon's name into the 'Ability' slot in the teambuilder.

Rules, Clauses & Banlist

- OU Banlist, Rules and Clauses
- No combination where a stat goes to a number that is 0 or less.
- No replicating legendary Pokemon (it ain't fair!)
