  1. Grumble, grumble
  2.
  3. There was a short man trudging through the streets of Frostvale. Standing no taller than four and a half feet, the stout man was about the same height as a child. He could be confused for one, if a child was the width of a barrel, and seemingly made of pure muscle and an angry beard. Grumbles escaped his lips.
  4.
  5. Grumble. Grumble.
  6.
  7. OF course, he was carrying a huge sack. The sound of rocks rubbing and knocking against each other. Coming from a little jaunt into the mines of Frostvale, the dwarf found only iron. It was a bit disappointing, after all, for iron was stupidly common. It wasn't something rare like mithril or legendary like arcanium. Just plain, boring and cheap iron.
  8.
  9. Disappointment rolled off him as if he was told that one of the people in the marketplace was his child. That is to say, it was crushing.
  10.
  11. Still, there was a pause as he heard the name Abram thrown about. He didn't know the context but he didn't care. To the surly prick, he just saw it as the perfect chance to mock the man and shame him.
  12.
  13. "Abram? Ye pure techt th' whiny huir? Pah. weaklin' he is. Aw he diz is sit aroond an' whine when he gits knocked doon by a better combatant. A sair loser an' a pathetic cheil. Frostvale woods be better withit heem! Still, Ah suppose it ainae braw tae gab abit th' mentally feeble."
  14.
  15. The surly, nigh indecipherable speech was punctuated by a boisterous laugh as the heavy sack was dropped to the floor with a thud. The dwarf found a chance to lord over someone else, and he was going to take it.
  16. (Fafnir Stoneborn)
  17. Meiji could see Algar's face. He was seeming a bit, interested in Abram and his accomplishments and what not. Meiji was some what happy to at least be able to put some hope into the boys mind. Though, the male behind him suddenly having a burst of words towards the two about Abram, continiously went on in an odd and barely comprehendable manner. Meiji could barely make out the words, but he could at least understand Fafnir calling Abram a weakling and something about whining. Meiji clenched his fist and quickly turned around to get a good look at Fafnir. He'd walk up to the man, looking up at him and going on to saying "From what I can tell you didn't have anything good to say about Abram right?"
  18.
  19. Meiji would point up at the man as he'd begin to defend his own master and what not. "If that's the case then I ask that you take back your words and apologize for what you just said behind his back..." Meiji wasn't some big wig in Frostvale, nor did he hold any true weight in Valmasia what so ever, so why should they have listened to him? Meiji knew this, yet still he defended his masters honour. "I don't know who you are, nor why you have such ill words towards him, but I don't want you saying it behind his back. If you're a true warrior at least have the grit to say it to his face!" Meiji was getting a bit louder the more he spoke, but once done he was just glaring up at the helmed warrior before him. Hoping things would go his way.
  20. (Meiji Shidoku)
  21. Algar watches Meiji approach the stranger dressed up in armor, Fafnir, since was calling his own father a pathetic weakling.
  22.
  23. Algar would soon then pull up in the rear but he knew all to well that he could provide nothing in this fight. Maybe be a supportive if there would be an up coming battle
  24. (Algar Draconis)
  25. Dun-dun-duuuun.
  26.
  27. Kali had heard Fafnir being slandered right next to her, and knowing his temper was WORSE that hers on your average day, she knew it was better to not have her buddy-ol'-pal insulted for no reason. Especially when it came to idiots like Abram who served no purpose.
  28.
  29. "Lemme be straight with you, puppy." She didn't know the Ookami's name, nor did she even care what it was; instead, she was more focused on telling him what was going on.
  30.
  31. "You see Abram lost to Fafnir here, one of my buds. He then insulted him and called him a Coward. Abram is one of those types who puffs himself up to look cool but really he is lame. Honestly? If I wasn't pregnant right now I'd probably walk up to him and smash him in the face for being such a loser. But sadly I have my unborn children to worry about." A soft pat was given toward her big-ol' belly, rubbing the tummy nice and sweet. Either way, the Neries woman rotated her neck.
  32.
  33. Her pull o nthe mana in the surrounding environment had ceased. "So I'mma give you some advice? You wanna be a real warrior? Learn to fight from me or Fafnir? Wanna be a baby-bitch self-important, pathetic little prick who has done nothign noteworthy in his life? Learn from Abram. Case closed. Don't speak of that whelp's name in my presence again." And with that, she'd simply plop her fat ass on the grated well again. Caring not a damn for the boy's words unless he truly said something stupid.
  34.
  35. "Fafnir. Don't bust the Ookami's jaw up yet. He's stupid probably from Abram's influence."
  36. (Kali the White)
  37. Fafnir stared up at the ookami. There was no expressive face to stare down the boy, only the cold draconic visage of his helmet. The kind of cold look he rather enjoyed. After all, it kept his smiles hidden. He didn't want people to know that he was having fun antagonizing everyone. Especially those about to make a terrible mistake.
  38.
  39. Slowly, he rolled his broad shoulders. As if using something for the first time in a long while. Deliberately cracking his shoulders, a chuckle escaped from under the helmet. The dwarf was letting Kali warn the boy before the older Drakanite went to work. It just so happened that Kali was right. Fafnir's temperment and mood was far worse than hers on a good day. And after only mining up iron?
  40.
  41. It was a bad day indeed.
  42.
  43. "I've said it tae his coopon afair. He is but an insect tae me. Sae, Ah will gie ye a body chance, laddie. Step back ur aam gonnae assume yoo're tryin' tae gie hostile wi' me. Ye dornt want 'at, loon. Listen tae th' pregnant a body, an' ye micht keep yer coopon."
  44.
  45. His surly voice just rumbled forward before he lifted the visor of his helm, revealing his lips enough to hock a wad of spittle at Meiji's feet. The visor fell with a loud clang.
  46. (Fafnir Stoneborn)
  47. Meiji turned his head, another had joined in to completely diss Abram. He didn't mind Kali calling him a puppy, he was still in training and considered himself as such anyhow. But when Kali basically called Abram's strength nothing more than a show it had began to push Meiji's nerve's to the limit. The woman, though, was apparently preganant, and it was obvious that no action could be taken towards her. Meiji instead went on to taking the harsh words Kali had to dish out just before Fanfir had suddenly began to speak and was now making barely any sense like before.
  48.
  49. At best, he could only understand something about Abram being an insect to them, and how Meiji was being hostile or something. The Ookami could do nothing more for the moment save for clench his fist. That was until he gained the courage to actually do more. Soon looking up at Fafnir and quickly saying "Very well then. Since the two of you don't wish to say such nasty words to his face, I will at least try and defend his name." Meiji of course knowing he was nothing more than a mere scrub who hadn't done anything but taken some basic training lessons with Abram. Though, he'd fight if it meant defending his masters name.
  50.
  51. "You!" Meiji would point to Fafnir. "I challenge you to a fight in order to protect my masters name. If you win, you can keep saying whatever you want about him. Though, should you lose then you must take back every disgusting word you spoke of him! Do we have a deal?" Meiji would stay focused upon the man before him. Awaiting a chance to at least defend Abram since he wasn't here to do it himself.
  52. (Meiji Shidoku)
  53. Algar had watched as how two towns people had seemed to talk rudely of his father and how they felt like it was necessary to talk bad about someone when their back was turned or wasn't around. It had infuriated him. One of the two had even went as far to talk rudely to the kind Ookami who had recently just helped him out.
  54.
  55. One of the two had a strong accent that he barely could understand while the other had talked perfectedly fine. But the thing was that had bothered him even more was how the two hid there faces from naked eye. One wearing a hood while the other wore a helmet. Were they just that coward enough to not even show there faces to the public. Were they that inconsiderate? Maybe so, but he didn't care.
  56.
  57. He watched as Meiji had handled things his way while Algar would soon handle this situation the only way he knew how. After watching Meiji talk to the two hooded figures, he had challenged one of them to a duel and left the pregnant one be.
  58.
  59. But as all of this drama was going down. Algar had carefully made his way to on of the patches of snow and starts to form a couple of snowballs. As Algar makes three snow balls, he places one in his right hand and cocks back his arm as he soon throws the first ball at the weird accently covered being. Hitting the man square in the chest of his armor. He would then place another snow ball and fling it towards the pregnant woman. But it had missed, so he gave it another try and it had hit her square in the face.
  60.
  61. He knew that it wasn't right to throw anything harmful at a woman or even hit them but that didn't mean they didn't deserve it
  62. (Algar Draconis)
  63. " I bet that you two wouldn't be talking so much smack if my pops was here" he said outloud
  64.
  65. (Algar Draconis)
  66. And then the snowball hit her in the face; but luckily her mask was on. "Who in the fuck..?" That was all she had to return when she first had the snowball wiped off her face. Who in the FUCK was going to hit a pregnant woman. Who dared to hit a woman who was WITH HER CHILDREN. Dressed in the armor of the Draco Nivis Jains and Adains, and was known to have anger issues?
  67.
  68. Her questions were answered when she turned to the little boy. Her anger was already something not to be trifled with; but you pair that with her pregnancy hormones, as well as seeing this as a threat to her unborn children? You bet she was mad, and so; her eyes stared at the little boy.
  69.
  70. "OKay you little pencil-dicked 2-brain-celled head-ass little prick. This is what I'm gonna do. I'm going to give you a chance to get on your god damned fucking knees beg for mercy and kiss my boot before a Pregnant woman picks up her giant sword that can cleave your body in half with one swing, and swings it with ALL HER MIGHT at you. Understand me? Who the hell do you think you are; trying to hurt a woman who is carrying children? Do you have NO RESPECT?" The sound of a teapot boiling could practically be heard coming off her form.
  71.
  72. She really hated Frostvale. Really. Really. Really hated Frostvale. "For fucks sake did your parents not teach you any manners? When my babes are born they are going to be stronger, much more well behaved; and hell of a lot more intelligent that mooks like you."
  73. (Kali the White)
  74. The gaze of the dwarf just passed to Algar as the snowball hit the chestplate of the dtout man. Fafnir let out a heavy sigh as the child chose to hit Kali as well. With his admittance of Abram being his father, it all made sense. Someone was dumb enough to breed with the weak man and this was his progeny.
  75.
  76. But Kali had him handled. Meiji, however, just issued a challenge. A quick glance over the ookami gave Fafnir the impression he was weak. Likely far weaker than Abram if he was so intent on defending the honor of that man. This, however, would be regarded as a terrible mistake. For the dwarf was far more cruel than he was angry.
  77.
  78. And he was always angry.
  79.
  80. But as luck would have it, the dwarf didn't feel like explaining to Percival why there was a crippled Ookami in the infirmary. Sure, he'd love to brutalize the teen for his own amusement, but that just seemed like a bad idea in the short run.
  81.
  82. "Laddie, Ah beat th' glaikit it ay Abram afair. Whit makes ye hink yoo'll stain a chance against me? Hoo abit thes. Ah will keep insultin' Abram fur th' weaklin' he is, an' Ah willnae break every bain in yer body. Coz as Ah said afair, Ah will say it tae Abram's coopon. Did it afair, will dae it again.
  83.
  84. But, if ye hate yer life 'at much, Ah will happily break ye loch hoddin glass."
  85.
  86. Behind that helmet were two emerald eyes that just dared Meiji to press it further.
  87. (Fafnir Stoneborn)
  88. Meiji looked to the two. It was obvious they were on different levels and what not, but what Meiji cared about was the words they kept saying about Abram. He was one of the only that had been kind to him, and now there were people attempting to make fun of him. Meiji couldn't stand for it, but going to get his ass kicked wouldn't help out much. Meiji would look to Kali who now seemed to be angry from Algar's sudden actions of throwing snowballs at the preganant being. Meiji would sigh and would quickly turn around. "Leave child. There's no point in trying to fight now. She is pregnant....And the other." Meiji would turn to eye Fafnir for a moment. "I must see if his story is true...I'll ask him myself."
  89.
  90. He'd then begin to walk off at this point. Not knowing if Fafnir would begin to follow or anyone else. But for now he needed to be alone to think until he could find Abram in order to speak with him about such things.
  91. (Meiji Shidoku)
  92. As he heard the pregnant woman speak back to him in such a rudely manner, and heard the strong accented man speak back towards Meiji. He had felt that it was his turn to join the conversation instead of acting behind the scenes.
  93.
  94. He would start forward by starting a shout towards the two until Meiji had told him to leave them be. He had looked at him in confusion but he understood what he had meant. That these two weren't worth their time and that they were just there to cause up some trouble because they seemed to having nothing better to do with their lives.
  95.
  96. Nodding towards Meiji, Algar threw his arms behind his head and started for his house. Ignoring the commands that Kali had given him, he told Meiji goodbye and goodnight. Meiji was right at the end, Algar would've probably just wasted his time to two people who seemed to be worthless to him at the moment. But he felt that sometime in the future that those words would be the end of him. But that wasn't then so he didn't care about it that much, but it was also sad because he had so many things to say back to them. He laughed out-loud that he would've probably made them cry if Meiji hadn't stopped them.
  97.
  98. Sure Algar wasn't the strongest of all foes, but he sure did have a smart tounge. . . .
  99. (Algar Draconis)
  100. A finger-snap. This boy needed some respect. But seeing as he refused to give in to Kali's demands, especially considering how emotional and unstable she was in her current state. (Not that she was stable to begin with normally). The woman instead decided to punish him. He wanted to disrespect an OFFICER OF THE LAW and thick he could get away with it and simply run? No she wasn't going to give chase in her state.
  101.
  102. "X'erner. Beat the fuck out of that kid. That's an order from your Jain. Teach him Respect the old Frostvalian Draco Nivis style." Sure it was potentially brutal and the kid might have been of magi blood enough to outrun or beat X'erner, but it was also a test of the Draco Nivis member. If this boy was also Abram's son? She'd enjoy the show even more.
  103.
  104. "Unless you want me to beat you as well for insubordination." A maddened smile was over her face; her eyes widened; luckily for them however, the eerie smile was hidden behind her mask. Her thirst for bloodshed would have been evident.
  105. (Kali the White)
  106. Oh joy. The child decided to ignore Kali. He never understood why people kept trying to disrespect her. How many had she seriously harmed by now? Three? Four? It was like no one wanted ot believe that she would seriously harm them. They all just disrespected her and assumed they'd get away without any hassle.
  107.
  108. Too bad this was Frostvale and she just kept getting promoted. It was obvious that no one above her was going to stop her violent ways. And Fafnir? Oh, he was going to enjoy this. The dwarf just laughed at the stupid child, letting him dig his grave.
  109.
  110. However, nothing was said. Instead, he just leaned against the massive sack of iron ore. This was going to be a good one.
  111.
  112. "Guess Abram is in th' wey o lose a bairn. Naethin' ay value will be tint!"
  113. (Fafnir Stoneborn)
  114. Seeing as how he just got roped into this whole situation with his superior officer he sees it as a unwinnable situation and walks up to the kid and whispers "Listen kid I need this promotion so im going to give you two options either we fake fight you let me win and i take you to the dungeon on Minor injuries.Or win and get jailed."
  115.
  116. He stands up gets into a fighting stance and looks toward Kali feeling intense bloodlust emenating from her. Gesturing for Algar to notice that animal planet shit.
  117. (X'erner Verilia)
  118. As Algar had heard the fiery hot woman's rage of anger vibrate from her body, he decided to take a glance over his shoulder to see what all the fuss was about.
  119.
  120. 'Perhaps it was with me disobeying the womans orders?' he thought wickedly to himself. He watched as she pointed to one of the townsfolk in the same plaza that he was currently trying to get away from and it seemed like she was sending him after Algar.
  121.
  122. Maybe she sent him to come fetch Algar? He had thought, maybe a ticket like that one aribtrator in Danarium. Who knew.
  123.
  124. He looked towards the man with a thick accent and it had seemed that he had made a remark on the situation but Algar couldn't hear it over the far distance that he placed himself at.
  125.
  126. Soon he would turn away from the group and continue on his way until he was stopped. Again.
  127.
  128. Turning back around, Algar now faced the boy that the insane pregnant woman had pointed at earlier. "Listen here bud, I'm just trying to get home and-" he tried to say before being cut off by the much older man and soon was attacked incoming words.
  129.
  130. Faking a fight and letting him win? Or be taken to the dungeon with minor injuries. Or win and get jailed. He didn't like either of those options so he came up with one on his own.
  131.
  132. "Orrrr how about this, you go back to your boss and cry some more while I go home and get some shut eye. Hm? Sounds good right? " he said slyly. But as he made an attempt to move away again, it had seemed that the man wanted to fight him.
  133.
  134. "picking on an 11 year old eh?" he said
  135. (Algar Draconis)
  136. Algar would watch the kid come at him from the side. Viewing this from the corner of his eye. Algar's energy shroud would find itself quickly upon him. Covering his body in a protective aura. But also giving him a boost in strength and his agility.
  137.
  138. Moving backwards quickly he waited and watched the kid run past him, spurting out fire magics and earth while he remained in that one position. As X'erner had passed the boy. Algar quickly followed him up and positioned himself at the boys right side. Slamming his left hand into the boys adam's apple. He did the feat by coming out with a left hook, connecting with the boys throat. He then watched as X'erner had made a choking sound as he fell on to the ground. Flopping around like a dead fish as he tried to get air back into his lungs.
  139.
  140. He then stood victorious over the mans being as he stood over him looking down at him sadly. Those two rude people were probably going to kill him for not taking him back. But what could he do? He couldn't just carry the poor man off to his house. He had no reason to. The man threatened him from the start. Not even asking if there was a choice of just walking back with him and apologizing. So he left him there as he watched the boy lay on the floor gasping for air. He heard that it hurt alot if one was punched in the throat, and seeing as how he had hit such a sensitive section so hard. He was amazed that the man was even alive. "I heard that hurt like a bitch. Remember it. . . . " He said casusally as he walked away to his abode
  141. (Algar Draconis)
  142. I died or i might as well have the boy crippled his relationship or absence of with Kali the deathbringer. He might as well have given him a death politically, his best chance at work was most likely at royal entourage and even that was in bad taste.
  143.
  144. "Fuck Frostvale" He chokes out as the small child punched him in the throat leaving him there not really writhing in pain but still just leaving him with cruel words to like he wasn't sitting by a fucking well enjoying HIS DAY. He get up looks at Kali and her accomplice and says "Happy now Kali do whatever im going to stand by and stop you from killing him atleast. Although I bet your content with your laughter."
  145.
  146. Visibly he as pissed off although he was loyal to his city he might as well as gone rougue the pain he felt right now as Kali and Fafnir used him as a source of entertainment. He could practicly feel the dissapointment in his bones not only his head was chanting a similar tone. You not only lost to a child but you lost in front of everyone in the damn city
  147.
  148. His body exuding heat he felt as if he just took a bath in some lava at this point shame and anger flowed from his body almost like water at this point.
  149. (X'erner Verilia)
  150. There was a heavy amount of disappointment that came from the Neries's throat. Boy did she really want to punch this kid right in the face, but hey; he beat a member of the Draco Nivis and showcased usage of magic. She rather not risk her unborn children at this point, despite the fact his attacks looked as if they couldn't even penetrate her flesh much less her armor.
  151.
  152. "Look boy. I'm going to give you a chance here. You either apologize for disrespecting me, or you're not going to like your stay in Frostvale. Not only did you insult me, but you also hit me and could have wounded my babies. I don't take insult to them very kindly." She was annoyed, and her eyes quickly turned toward Fafnir; standing beside her comrade. It seemed that this boy was going to continue his father's legacy of making a mess and well... That just meant that Kali needed to continue beating skulls in.
  153.
  154. She'd whisper to the other Nivis; wondering his take on the siutation at hand.
  155. (Kali the White)
  156. Fafnir Stoneborn: <Simmering silence.>
  157. As Algar was heading to his house, he was once again interrupted. But instead of stopping. He just raised one of his arms up as his other hand was stuck in his pocket. Waving his free hand towards the group of people he had just left his energy shroud would soon disburse~~.
  158.
  159. "I ain't saying anything more to you lady until you apologize for talking bad about my dad!" he shouted over his shoulder as he walked away.
  160.
  161. He didn't care about what she had to say about her children or anything like of that. He knew that it was rude and he was raised to respect his elders no matter the case. But this time she was asking for it.
  162.
  163. Plus, kids needed to know that fun didn't involve beating on children right? Maybe that snowball injury would transfer to her kids as fun or something.
  164. (Algar Draconis)
