  1. When we were told that we had to create a guide, we were very ill-informed about what this meant. All we were told is that we had to create a 'guide' we weren't even given a definition of what a 'guide' is. Because of this, we all came out with totally different interpretations of what a 'guide' was. What my group created was a booklet full of information about creative industry venues in Norwich & Norfolk. After some thought
  2. and discussion we decided to name our guide 'Norwich Guide'. I did not like this, and still think it's not a creative name at all, yes it may clearly show what the guide is about, but where's the creativity in it? When getting on with our guide, we each gave ourselves our own tasks, although half way through we lost almost everyone in our group, and with the few we had left, I felt that some did not participate as much as others to the point where they did nothing. Leaving just two people to fully contribute there time and effort, me being included, working till 7pm when the gates close of the school some evenings. My biggest task, although not my only task, was designing the guide, putting the pages in the best format for printing side by side with double sided printing, printing it out and stapling it together, as well as designing and coded the Giraffe Guide website by hand. I feel that the guide is not as good as it could have been. If we were giving more than just two days to work on it, yes two days! We would have added lots more venues and reviews. You may
  3. also notice that some reviews do not have the info beside and are not very neatly placed on the page, this is because I was not responsible for these, the review I rote was the review on The King of Hearts, at the beginning. We would have also worked in colour order (For type of venue) A-Z with an Index, but did not have enough time to do this and not enough venues. After we had all created our guides, we went to The Kings Centre, a church in Norwich, and did a presentation in front of all the groups and classes and a publisher names Andrew Haynes. Our presentation went really badly, because we were not able to get our Giraffe Guides website up, due to our teachers computer not functioning correctly, which was a big point of our presentation. Our presentation was also rubbish, because a big headed member of our team that thinks there the best at everything, when they really are not, insisted on doing it, but not very well!
