  1. -After Morio's match against Akira Saeba (Akira Maeda), the next match in the card is Dick Slender (Ric Flair) against Morio's teammate. During the match, Slender taunts Morio's teammate, and says that he will finish Morio's teammate like "that old Jap" (likely referring to Ittetsu, Morio's trainer, something Morio realizes).
  2.
  3. -Morio begs Slender to stop, but nothing could prevent his teammate from being fatally injured during the match.
  4.
  5. -Slender challenges a title shot to death. When Morio decides to challenge him, Slender reveals that he is responsible of death of an old Japanese man; Morio knows he is referring to Ittetsu, Morio's trainer.
  6.
  7. -Morio responds that what he done is unforgivable and the price he will be paying for breaking the future of wrestling will be high. Slender warns that Morio's friends will also be facing death soon.
  8.
  9. -The match begins. If the player loses for the first time, an intermission cutscene plays before rematch: Morio feels that the souls of his friends have flowed to him and reminisces on them.
  10.
  11. -After Slender is defeated, Morio is declared World Wrestling Circus' (the American promotion Morio wrestles in) World Heavyweight Champion.
  12.
  13. -Standing in the corner post, Morio's joy and celebration started to turn into a silence, worrying the Saebas. Akira asks what Morio will do next after being the world champion, while Reiko says she still loves Morio and asks if he has found the "answer".
  14.
  15. -Morio replies he was unable to find the "answer", but tells he was already happy to be a pro wrestler and he had done all accomplishments, and says goodbye to the two Saebas. At this point, he feels he is already on top of the world, and that it is alone there. (He also likely doesn't want to drop the title to anyone else. And given how he answers to the Saebas, this is where the implied depression is all about)
  16.
  17. -Three days later, a gunfire was heard in Morio's house and the screen goes to black; after a cast/staff roll with eerie music, an picture of a chair inside a house (Morio's?) appears with "To be continued?", implying Morio may or may not have committed suicide.
