"Should we take a break?"

"Yeah, we should."

Actually, lazing around the bed while brainstorming about the guitar part of the new song is never a part of their dictionary. Both of them should be strumming on guitar, not lying on Yukina's bed. Instead, they are scribbling the notes on the book and exchanging the book to each other. After they write out parts they wanted to change respectively, they will return the book and work on it again.

The time is late in the evening now, and they are still on the bed, now looking at each other faces, centimeter apart from each other - crossing an incredulous look. Their strands of mismatched color of hair tangled on the bed. Both realized they were in awkward situation but both not dared to inch away from one and another.

Was it a comfort after being together in a bed after a long while?

"Sayo."

"Yes?"

"Since when we ended up here?"

"I ... don't know, honestly. We're just writing."

Yukina rolled her eyes to seek the wall clock, "It's kind of late. Don't you want to stay for the night?"

"Perhaps I should."

Silence is brewing in the horizon again. Their hands didn't stray, rather, it found each other, filling the space between them as if it is an autonomous movement.

"Do you need something, Sayo?"

"I don't." a sharp answer.

Yukina chuckled. As always, those green eyes are more honest than how Sayo is. There's this tinge of curiosity on the guitarist's eyes and there's something hidden beneath the layer of curiosity: an unspoken thirst.

Is it because they are alone now; after some time they are not?

"Let me rephrase it. Do you want something from me, Sayo?"

"How incredibly specific," but Sayo didn't show the slightest hint of annoyance. "No, I don't want anything from you ... at the moment."

And what an answer that's coming from you, so Yukina should say. Though, Yukina herself is already impatient at this point.

Yukina released their entwined fingers on the gap between them, finding purchase to tilt on Sayo's chin. They are not separated by heights as they are lying down face to face on her bed. They are not watched by anyone but posters hanging on the wall. The curtains are closed, so is the only door leading to the exit. No one will come at any moment, they are safe and sound, they can continue on making music with each other.

Will it be the same as the music making on the paper, Yukina wondered? But she no longer is thinking as she robbed Sayo's attention with her kiss. Yukina breathed in Sayo's lips to make sure the guitarist is paying attention.

"Unfortunately, I want something from you, Sayo." her voice is low, commandeering. "I know you can fulfill it."

"If it's alright with you, Minato-san."
