- 25/04/2025 Update:
- Added details on WGP Sabotage.
- Added Goro/Shinsaku as alternative teammates that take less time to recruit.
- General update to match information in the 2025 route.

- Notes:
- - C/B/A/WGP is used to refer to races from the C-rank, B-rank, A-rank and the World Grand Prix stage of the game.
- - Bob/Richard isn't the fastest choice for WGP recruiting but was used when the route was created and is proven to be reliable. As of 2025 it is instead recommended to recruit Goro/Shinsaku after Temple A (saves 10 seconds).
- - From experience, recruiting teammates earlier weakens their WGP performance. For this reason I wait as long as possible to recruit.
- - Be careful with fuel consumption, especially on Lagoon, Miner, River and Ninja Temple. Running out is BAD.
- - I recommend allocating a split to each individual race simply to act as a convenient race-order guide.
- - A big strategy of NMG is performing well enough in the WGP that you can skip Lagoon but still win the WGP. This is "Lagoon skip" and saves up to 3 minutes. I recommend Lagoon skip with a lead of 80+ points after finishing Lava Run WGP.
- - When retiring during WGP, scores are calculated based on current position. Because of this, you can spend time blocking someone from the 2nd place team at the start of Lagoon before retiring to reduce their points. This is called "Sabotage", and makes Lagoon skip viable even with smaller leads.
- - The best time to retire Lagoon is around the 9/10 second mark as the racers in Lagoon slightly mix together, meaning slower teams can also steal some points from Jackie/Harrison.
- - Team Jackie is almost always the 2nd place team, coloured white. Team Harrison is red. In very rare circumstances Team Harrison can be the 2nd place team.
- - There is a lot of randomness during WGP. It is possible for your teammates to get stuck, but it is also possible for other teams to get stuck. Good luck!
- Part Notes:
- - Over the entire run, optimised part swaps, primarily tyres, can save you heaps of time. Have your swaps planned in advance.
- - Tyres are arranged in order of (NORMAL - RACING - WET - OFFROAD - STUD - NORMAL).
- - Where multiple copies of a type are owned (typically 3 for this run), and one is equipped, the menu will default to and highlight the LEFTMOST copy.
- - Loading time after leaving factory is slightly longer if you swapped parts.
- - You cannot start leaving Q's Factory until your car has turned around. As a result you can use this time to swap tyres AFTER a race rather than before one. This is easier to menu, and the time-save balances out with the longer loading time.
- - The Long MAD Engine is bought and used because of the lower cost and fantastic fuel efficiency.
- - Getting the Wing Set from the Water Temple is extremely helpful as it improves handling.
